"First day of school huh?" says a young man after he wakes up from bed this morning. After a couple of stretches he gets out of bed and take a shower.

Afterwards he put on his freshly pressed uniform, a white shirt, grey trousers and a grey neck tie. he combs his hair and put on his harry Potter glasses on.

"Leon! come down stairs! breakfast is ready."

"Okay, thanks Ella! I'll be there in a sec" said Leon calmly.

He checks himself on the mirror one more time before heading down stairs.

"What are we having this morning Ella?"

"I made pancakes! Here's the maple syrup and butter. Do you want milk or orange juice?" says Ella while setting up a meal for his brother.

"I'd love a glass of milk. By the way, do ww have some blueberries?"

"I think we do have em" Ella quickly ran across the kitchen to get some blueberries and milk from the fridge " there we go. here's your milk and blueberries!" says Ella grinning

"Thanks Ella, also you should really eat too. Not long until it's time to get going."

"Uhm.... of course" said Ella cheerfully. And then the two siblings eat their breakfast, put on their shoes and school bags and leave their house together.

"So you're going to try on the audition again this year?" asked Leon curiously,

"Yeah wish me luck, someone told me there more applicants this year so it'll be harder."

"Of course! But u have to treat me if you managed to pass it, my luck isn't free haha" says Leon teasingly

"Fine, I'll treat you some chewing gum" Ella is clearly a bit annoyed

"Hey, why are you so stingy? At least treat me a cheeseburger.... "

"Take it or leave It hmph."

"Alright, then see you after school Ella. Be a good girl okay?" he pats her head fondly.

"Uhm.." she nodded.After that the two siblings separate ways, Ella continue her walk for another two blocks to get to her school. Leon take the tram to get to his school, Eastwood High.

It doesn't takes long for the tram to reach the other side of the town, he walks off the train in a calm manner and quickly enters the front gate. From the station across the road he can see the crowd of teenagers gathering around an announcement board. He joins the crowd to see which class is he assigned to

"Leon Mignolet.... ah there is it" he mumbles, "Edelweiss class, second floor room seven."

Leon then go straight to his class 10 minutes before the class starts. He looks for a place to sit, and find there's only one empty seat left.

"Lucky me, back row seat." he thinks. Sitting next to him there's a girl, a beautiful girl in fact. A tall girl with a slight tan on her skin and short hair. She wears a single hairpin on the left side.She also wears a red sporty jacket. as he approaches the seat he greets her politely.

"Good morning! May i take this seat?"

"Sure" she said in a deep and relaxed voice.

"The name is Leon, what's yours?"

"Hayden." she answered while still looking at her phone.

"Nice to meet you." Leon smiled

"yeah me too." she said without making eye contact

This girl is cold he thinks, but he doesn't want to annoy her by talking more so he stayed silent until the homeroom teacher came.

The teacher came not long after, his name is mr. Francis. He introduced himself for a short time and went straight to start his lesson.

"Hey Leon." says Hayden, " can you lend me a pen and share your textbook? I left them at home." She looks pretty relaxed about it, almost doesn't care even in the first day.

"Sure, here you go." Leon lend her his pen and share his textbook. he is actually a bit surprised but managed to keep his cool. Weirdly Hayden doesn't seems to be a lazy person, as she listens to the lesson well and even asked some questions. Leon didn't expect her to be enthusiastic on this lesson.

"well, i guess she just forgot." Leon said to himself

At 9 O'clock the bell rings to sign the first break, the students get up from their seats and starts chatting, eating their lunch or go out of class. During the break some upperclassmen arriving one after another to promote their clubs to the new students. Eastwood has many clubs for after school activities, there's sports, arts, sciences, photography, martial arts and student council to name some of it. After a few clubs has done their promotion, came the choir club. they perform in front of the class and invite everyone to sing along.

Leon is impressed, their voices are organized in a very beautiful way. Powerful sopranos, the technically gifted altos and tenors, the sweet bassline that is lifting the group higher. The feels are so epic ans magical, Leon can't hide his interest. He didn't blink even a single time.

"So, you like this don't you?" Hayden asked, turns out the way Leon watches the performance caught her attention.

"You can tell? Well, I have been in a choir all my life so i am already thinking to join, but knowing that the choir is this good then... let's just say I'm a bit more excited."

"Well, good luck on the audition then. I heard that they have high standards."

"Thanks for that. By the way, are you planning to join any clubs?"

"Joined the football team this morning. The captain asked me personally so i can't say no."

"Ooh! So u must be good at it right?" Leon is slightly shocked.

"Nope, I just had a lucky win on the All Star Cup that's all. They called it 'The miracle at Wembley'. "

"What happened?" Leon got curious.

"My team was the minoes of the tournament. We barely escaped the group stages. We progress by narrow margins. And at the final at Wembley I won a foul just outside the penalty box. Teed up a header goal that seals victory at the last seconds."

"Wow, that's Epic, no wonder you are asked personally. you must be delighted."

"Too be honest, I'd rather go sleep after school than run around chasing a ball." said Hayden with a little smile. Leon cackles,

"If you say it that way now I might rethink about joining the choir hahahaha."

They keep talking to each other until the break time is over. Little laughs pops up here and there, they had a great time.

School ended at 3PM, Leon quickly gets his stuffs on his bag and ran to the class door. He doesn't want to let his sister wait by herself at home.

"Leon wait!" shouted Hayden, "can I have your LINE id?"

Leon stopped and walk back to Hayden

"Sure, here's my id" he let her to look at his phone. afterwards he raced his way out of school
