Luna's POV

"Luna?" My mother called out as I approached her. Her usual bright smile was turned to a frown. "C'mon honey, try to smile!" She smiled while tugging my hair to my ear. "Sunny!" Auntie Cana called out to my mother.

"T-the royal family is calling all the servants and staff of the palace!" She panted while my mother nodded. She brushed off her dusty uniform from cleaning. "C'mon Luna." Mother grab my wrist and we followed aunt Cana. After a few minutes we arrived at the royal hall, many servants were gathered while fear and nervousness were shivering in their eyes.

A loud trumpet roared while the large door opened, entering the royal vampire family. "Bow down to the royal family!" The head guard ordered as we bowed down. "Sunny Min, Cana Min, Lee Na, Taiske Maori---" The names were rolling off the tounge of the head guard.

Mother went to front along with the other servants who were called. "Mama?" I called out to her as she faintly smiled at me. "I'll be fine sweetie." Her soft angelic voice calmed me down, I nodded unsurely, something inside me was telling me that something bad is gonna happen, to say that all were called were woman.

"You." The king pointed to my mother, I balled my fist as anger filled within me for no reason. My mother stilled smile but I know for a fact that she was scared. My mother was taken by guards and maids followed, "Ma!" I called out to her with pity and sadness, but, she looked at me with a unsure smile.

Aunt Cana followed, while I clenched my fists. The servants were called back to their rightful position while I continued my mother's cleaning. It was nighttime and I went to our room, I laid down and looked at my mother's photo and me.

My heart started beating faster and faster, my whole body filled with fear, I stood up fastly and took my coat to go outside. I went to the emperor's quarter while my mother's sillhoute was shown in the emperor's room. His hand tracing her body while my mother struggled out of his grasp.

"Stop!!" My mother yelled and pleaded to the emperor. I tried going inside but I was terrified the thought of my mother's terrified face and the gruesome ways of the emperor with her. My mother's sillhoute and shadow was trying to get out of the emperor's quarter but her struggles ended when the emperor stabbed her.

My eyes widen and tears streamed down my cheeks. My mother was ***** when she was thrown by the river. I slowly and stealthily took my mothers body and tried my best to heal it. The emperor's vampiric teeths left a mark on my mother's neck.

I checked her breathing and found out that she was breathing sharp and fast. "M-mama.." I sobbed while she smiled at me. "Smile honey.." she barely tried to say the words. I tried to form a smile but it was a fail. "Honey..may..you promise..me something..?" I nodded on my mother's last request.

"Always smile.." Her hand fell when she finished her request. I sobbed quietly and stuffed my face In her bleeding hands..I took all my energy to stop sobbing and to take a vow.

"I promised, even if it'll take a lifetime, I will bring down the royal family."
