One summer Day, it feels like a dream,when I caught a glimpse of her beautiful face.

She is perfect and well known in my school, that make my heart break." Hey Nick, daydreaming again?" said by Jake, he loves to tease me as if he's my friend, he gave me this smirk that kinda annoys me.

The school bell rang so loud that makes me feel escaping,"Here we go again" I said with a sigh.

.....

"MmMMm" I tried to scream, "AHAHHA dream boy, you know you're just making yourself suffer more!" Harold said while dragging me around, It was all black, I can't see a thing... he puts down the blindfold and I gasp the moment I look below, we are in the edge of the rails in the rooftop, I was tied in a chair and a handkerchief that covers my mouth to prevent me from screaming, I tried to scream for help and to escape but it won't work, Harold continues to laugh and grabs a mirror, making me see my face, "Can you see the difference between you two? tsk tsk for how many times do I need to teach you!?" he said, I can sense his anger in his tone, I remained silent not until I heard a girl scream. Harold didn't even bother, he still continues mocking me because he also likes her, after all, no  boys wouldn't fall in love in her charms. I just closed my eyes, hoping this would end soon. "STOPPP!" a gentle voice came and it was her! Is  she gonna save me? I asked in my mind, "c'mon deary, this boy is having a hard time to understand a simple thing!" Harold said but she slapped him, leaving a red mark on his face, "**** you Harold can you at least have sense! Hurting the weak won't gain anything!" She yelled at him angrily, Harold couldn't say a word. She quickly helps me, untied me, it gave me a relief and she suddenly grab me by the hand, "I'm going to bring you to the infirmary" she said sternly.

...few hours passed

"Uhh Laura thank you for helping me" I said with a smile, "Oh No worries Nick, If anyone is going to bully you again just shout my name and I will come to the rescue!" she said smirking and we both laugh. Harold got suspended for weeks, and no dare to touch me after what she did, It felt like an unbelievable dream but I think she is just good person, and the type that always help. I go to my classroom and I think my teacher is mad at me because he kept looks at me, "What is your answer or are you just deaf?" he said, it made me stand up and said my answer, he just nodded and I just sat down wiping my sweat.

 After class...

I can feel everyone's gazes, I just quietly continue walking, a pat in my back suddenly freak me out, "ahahaha became a scaredy-cat in a sudden?" Jake said laughing, "congrats boy, you got her attention so easily wish you luck Nick" he whispered and he pat me again then left me behind.

"mhmm so boring" Laura looking outside the window, the bell rings and she quickly goes to the canteen, notice nick eating alone in the corner, she put her tray on his table and sat beside him. "Hey, why eating alone?" she asked, "No one would love to join an ugly idiot like me" Nick replied, she sighed and bonk him in the head, "who said you are an idiot and ugly? Don't tell me you are believing that rascal!?" she said pouting, "Umm sorry…but why did you help me? Don't it make you the topic of the week again? And we don't know each other also we are not friends..." he said, she pinched his cheeks "Don't say that, I don't care of what they are saying, also you are in trouble always that I keep hearing your name in every direction, and you can be my friend no one can defy that!" she said, Nick blushes. "Thank you! Also, I will treat you next time" he said, "Sure! Couldn't wait" she replied excitedly.

The time passed and time for me to go home, I quietly walk on the streets, when I reach home I can hear my phone buzzing, I opened it and saw Laura messages and she's still typing, I put my bag aside and mom invited me for dinner...

I felt like dreaming that I do not wish to end, It was quiet... I suddenly heard laughter and boys mocking at me, Harold strangling me, "You die, die die die"  everyone said, I woke up, sweating and panting and realized that it's still early but I decided to prepare for school than sleeping back.

The school bell rings, I remained quiet and sat in the corner, while everyone is gossiping each other, I heard a bling and saw Laura message:

Meet me in the bus stop this evening! Better keep your promise! (:

"See you, don't worry, I won't break it" I replied and our teacher starts to enter our classroom.

Class ended so I went home early to prepare myself, I told mom about where I'm going, "Oh my are you having a girlfriend without telling me!?" she said, "No mom, she is just my friend and I want to treat her as a thanks also it's her birthday today" I said, "Ok ok you two enjoy!" she said smiling, I waved her goodbye and arrive at the bus stop.

Hands covers my eyes,"Laura?" I said, "CORRECT!" she said in a jolly way, "So where do you want to go first?" I asked, she just grab my hand as the bus stop by, she paid the bus tickets.

We went to a shop, it's a cute one and it was run by her aunt, while eating we keep sharing stuff and we both realizing we have lots of similarities, next we headed to the park, she kept buying food on each stall and of course I was the one paying it, I'm relieved that I've saved money since last year, while walking I notice a stall and saw a pairing bracelet, I've bought it and gave her the other, she smiled so brightly that made me smile, we keep walking around, "hey Nick the reason why I've helped you, is because you once help me" she said while staring at the starry sky, "huh" I said confused, "Pfft I guess you've not remembered but do you remember a girl being gang up and you suddenly put a fight on those jerks the reason you have that big scar in your face" she said, "umm" I look at her "umm I now remember! ahahaha It was long ago Laura, and I didn't know it was you" I said gently she turns and looks at me with a smile, "I'm glad you've remembered, promise me that you won't ever forget my name and this night!"she said, "The night sky full of stars meant that for a million more the promise I made shall not be break and stayed lock in my heart and soul." I said, "Uwaah you read Memoir's of you!? It's my favorite book of all!" she said jumping, "me too hehehe" I said, "I shall be happy and waited for the time we've met again..." she continued the line and both of us laugh.

"Why why!? Are you even existed!" My father used to say\, slapping me and punch me because I always do the worst things\, those days I've been in the dark not until I met Laura\, she had this smile lending her hand\, It was giving me a relief not when brats made fun of her but they got a knife that slashes to my face and left it with a scar\, my father got so angry that he beat me up inside the restroom and have this fake smile facing Laura's parents\, sigh years have passed and I become more introverted and even more got bullied\, mom divorced dad and we moved on where we're currently living right now. "Hey\, you are okay? The bus is here!" she said\, poking me in the nose\, I just gave her a nod and both of us quietly went to our homes. I lie on my bed\, laughing\, "ah it feels like a dream" I said thinking of what have happened through the night\, and it was interrupted by a knock in my door\, I can feel a creepy gaze in the darkness of my room and a little light from the small gap on the door\, "For how long are you gonna make me wait here?" mom said and she seems to be angry\, I shakily open the door and... a hug in sudden attack me and I can't breathe it's too tight and the lights are on\, "Nicky why did you go home so late? *sob sob* you've made me so worried\, *stop sobbing\, *but did you have fun? *Smirking* did everything went well? @#$%R%^^&&* (and so on questions)\, "M-Mom M-momm I-I" I said stammering\, "OOoh you like her?" mom said jokingly\, "N-No I-I ca-an't breathe" I replied trying to escape her tight embrace\, "oh oops sorry nicky" she said letting me go...few hours later

"Oh I see\, so that's what happened" she said staring at the ceiling\, while me keep drinking water and wiping my sweat\, "But do you like her?" she asked\, that question made me blush but I hide it from her gaze\, "No mom she is just my friend nothing else" I replied\, "Ooh I see\, I see\, alright I'm gonna leave so that you can rest" she said with a kiss in my forehead and turning off the lights\, I laid back on my bed and gave a sigh of relief. My phone beeps again\, and it's Laura's message thanking me and greeting me good night\, I replied her back: "see you tomorrow\, and yes it was fun also goodnight and sweet dreams *sent successfully* and I close my eyes with great ease\, hoping for good days to come. I sleep quite good\, not like before\, I used to have these nightmares about my past but it seems it took a little break just for that night\, I hope we'll do it again Laura...
