Li Jie's lips were trembling at the thought of his master passing away. Why hadn't he known about it? A thousand questions flooded his mind. He kept his ear pressed against the wooden door, hearing each and every word between his master and the other person.

Linling's voice trailed off; the last was trying to figure out the perfect words to describe what she wanna ask the man before her.
