knock! knock!

a slight knock was heard on the door.

"come in", a voice spoke from the inside.

As expected a slender and handsome figure appeared at the door.

A smile spread over her face with delight, " Lingshen!".

A small slender girl sat on the chair with her folded legs, holding a magazine in her hands. Her pale face was enlightened by the long dark hair flowing down her shoulders.

"Were you busy?" he leans at the entrance of the door, removing the hair strands from his face.

She was drenched in adoring the figure in front of her that the question was left to hang out in the air. The jet black hair that fell over his pale face and his slender fingers steadying it, the dark-bluish eyes that peered over her. Everything perfectly aligned to a glimpse of perfection.*what a beauty*

"Hua Lin!", He raises his eyebrows and gapes at her, "Are you listening?".

" uh," she dazes out of her emotion, "I am!" and smiles awkwardly.

His face darkens," well, it seems Taeyi is going to be late today but he said he is going to come to you soon after he finishes!".

"can't you just keep him from coming here?", she makes a pouty face.*Ah...! I wish he could just spend the whole day outside with business and why does he have to come to me?!!*.

" I wish I could!", he smirks " anyways, if you need anything then ask Mr. fu, he will be right outside!"

"Okay!". She nods her head.

He straightens himself." I am leaving then!". He gives a small back wave and turns to leave the room.

Hua Yi scans until his figure gets out of her sight.

The figure which she had always admired since the first day they met. The day they met as strangers was a beautiful moment. At least a beautiful moment for her to cherish. She had never imagined that one day a stranger she met on the streets would be so close to her.

She gives a happy sigh and thinks to herself *How did I end up here?*.

"Aliyah, wait up for me?", she rushes up to catch up with her friend.

"Lin!", alyia looks at her friend trying to catch her breath, "we need to get there fast, see...", alyia shows her phone screen "we are already 15 mins late, the guys are already on spot!".

" Okay!".

Both the girls hurried themselves to the market where they had a promised gathering with their friends.

Between the bunch of crowds at the market, the two girls couldn't spot their friends.

A hand touches Lin's shoulder, she grabs the hand tightly in protection but it turned out to be their friend.

"Ah!..ah..", Riely whines in pain.

" ops! my bad", she laughs teasingly.

"Woah! you are already 15 mins late and..", their friend glared at them.

Lin makes a pouty face towards her friend," Sorry!..".

All her friend turns their back on her with a cringe.

"Hua Lin...!", alyia turns her face towards her friend who was jumping around like a child in the big crowded market.

"uh?".

"Walk carefully! what if you crash into some person!", alyia says in concern.

" I'll apologize to them!", Hua Lin smirks at her friend. Alyia puts her hand on her face in disbelief.

"At least walk straight! face the front instead of facing us!".

" Okay!".

As Hua yi turns around, aliyah's worst imagination comes to reality.

Hua Lin bumps into a person and falls.

"Ah...watch out!", Aliyah calls up to her startled.

" ah!!".

*It hurts!*.

Hua yi had a bad temper, as she sees the person she bumped into striding along without having a glance at her, beyond excusing. she frowns in anger.

She glares at the person.

"Woah!!...".

*I know it was my fault but still*.

As she was about to call the person out, a pale hand comes across her face astounding her. She looks up and finds a fine tall man offering a hand to her." Miss! Are you okay?".

The handsomeness of the man in front of Hua yi was beyond ignorance.

He was tall with a slender figure. He wore a black half-unbuttoned shirt and a loose tie hanging around his neck. The jet-black hair that matched his shirt was falling around his forehead, almost covering it, complemented by the dark-bluish eyes.

Hua Lin was mesmerized by the man in front of her and couldn't help but stare at him.

"uh? miss?", the man searched for her response.

Embarrassed, Hua Lin stands up at her feet at once, ignoring the hands offering her help. Bang! she collapses with the head of the man lending his hand for her help.

" ah!", the man whines and straightens himself.

"oh!, I am sorry", Hua lin was more embarrassed than before, her face turns red.

" it's okay! As long as you are fine.", the man gives a subtle smile.

"ah! yes, I am fine thank you!", Hua Lin smiles shyly.

" Then be cautious, young lady!", He says and taps her head.

"Yeah! sorry!".She apologies with her head down.

Amidst the chaos, the man almost forgets his partner with whom the young lady had collided. He turns back to catch a glimpse but his figure was already out of sight.

*Ah...this man. Where did he run off to? I must hurry*

He turns back to the young lady in front of her.

"I must get going then.", he turns around and back waves her.

"Yeah! Hope we meet again !", Hua Lin mumbles to herself and smiles shyly.

Meanwhile, her friends stood behind Hua Lin watching the scene in front of them. As Hua Lin turned toward her friends whom she had completely forgotten, her friends had big grins all over their faces, especially her best friend 'alyia rúh'.

"ay..!was that... what should I call it guys...", alyia chuckled.

" Love at first sight?", Riely spurts out teasingly.

Her friends break out a laugh.

"What? Love?...". Hua lin laughs.

" Then? maybe we got it wrong!".Her friend looks at her teasingly and sighs.

Hua Lin's face turns reddish like tomatoes.

"Miss, are you okay?", alyia giggles.

Alyiah had been teasing her since the incident had happened and Hua Lin couldn't say anything because she admitted that she was mesmerized by the stranger's beauty. How she wished she knew who the stranger was.

" Alyia rúh, stop already!", Hua Lin glared at her friend.

Alyia had been her friend since childhood, they were inseparable. She was Hua Lin's partner in crime, her sister, and everything. Alyia was a plain girl with round huge spectacles on her eyes, yet she looked beautiful with her long black hair tied in a ponytail.

Alyia stopped the moment as her friend called her by her full name, which meant she wanted her to stop.

knock!..

"alyia, Lin are you inside? ", Hua Lin's mom calls from behind the door.

"yes..! mom".

Hua's mother made them a request to collect some shrimps from the market as she had run out of them.

" Do you think I will be able to meet him today?", Hua Lin looks at her friend with puppy eyes.

"You wish, girl!", alyia smirks at her.

They went straight to the fish market for the shrimps since it was something to be sold faster than other products.

As expected the fish market was hugely crowded. They squeeze themselves within the crowd and enter a less crowded area.

As they were buying the shrimp, Hua Lin hears a familiar voice nearby. She turns to glance at the person when alyia calls for her.

" lin!", alyia already had collected the shrimp from the shopkeeper, all it was left to pay. Lin pays for the shrimp and they turn to leave when a tall figure appears in front of them.

Lin, stops at her pace to look up.* It's him*

"oh, hi young lady!", he greets her.

" oh!", Lin was startled at his sudden greeting as she thought he wouldn't remember her.

He looked as handsome as the day they meet.

But for lin, he looked more handsome than before in his silk black shirt.

"HI!", she waves at him shyly.

"ah! you seem to be sensible today!", he taps her head and smiles.

Hua Yi's face burns as he touches her hair,

" yes, thank you for helping me the previous day!".She bows respectively.

"it's, okay!", he glances at her and smiles." Did you buy some shrimp".He glances at the bag the girl behind Hua Lin had.

Lin gets startled at his sudden question.

"Ah! Yes!". She smiles.

" Oh! then I must hurry ,or else they will be over!".He visions the shop filled with the crowd.

"Yes! you must hurry!". Hua lin says in concern.

"Then...young lady. Hope we meet again!".

He smiles and paces to leave when lin calls him," excuse me, perhaps can I know your name?".

Hua yi was startled after she asked for his name she couldn't believe she said that and she felt embarrassed.

*Hua lin!!!! you shameless girl!!!*.

"I mean..we can not act like strangers when we me... I mean, it would be easier to greet if we happen to bump into each other again since you helped me.!", she stammered and got shy.

" It's Lingshen!", he smiles at her.

*what a pretty name*, Hua yi could not help but smile, "oh, my name is Hua Lin, it was nice to meet you Mr.ling", she stretches her hands before him.

He takes her hands and held them, " it was nice to meet you too, Hua Lin! until next time!".

He paces to the shop and waves her goodbye.

She watches him until he reaches the shop and talks to a man beside him.

As they were talking when the man beside lingschen glances at her. She couldn't look at his face as he was wearing a mask with a cap that covered almost his whole face. He was as tall as lingschen but with border shoulders all suited in dazzling black.

*Woah, his hands felt so soft. Is he talking about me to his friend*, she gazes at him and smiles madly till her friend wakes her from her thoughts.

"Lin!".

Hua lin turns to her friend and grins.

" Are we meant to be?, Isn't it fate...We meet again!.".

Seeing her friend's excitement Aliyah couldn't help but play along with her.

"I think so too, it's destiny!", she cracks up.
