I had fallen asleep quickly that night, exhausted from the college day and work straight after. It is not easy living by yourself, still in eductaion but already having to make a living. I guess i don't know any other way of surviving though,not since my family died.

I know right? What bad luck, i am only 17 and have no family left at all, well not that i know of and there is certainly no one who cares about me if they are out there.

I don't even know where i am right now. I had fallen asleep quickly and slept like a log, only to wake up to the beaming sunlight floating down to greet me in a grassy field.

I sat up in a daze to find this was 100% not home.

The tall grass comforted me, whilst a gentle breeze danced through my hair. I took in the glorious sights that awaited me.

To be honest i handled this situation very well and did not mind this dreamy world one bit, only hoping that it was not a dream and really was my new reality. I soon came to realize that i was not scared of this new world, but rather embraced it like it was my home.

I looked up to the sky to find that blazing ball of fire lighting up a rose gold sky with hues of pale blue, which also housed two milk white moons and the increasing twinkling fairy light stars.

The darkening sky was enveloping every square inch of this land, and i came to a sudden realisation that i had no idea where i was, where i should go and what to do in general!

I guess a good start would be to find some sort of civilisation, if there was anyone out there, or at least try and find something edible, I am starving!!!

I stood up and decided to follow the way i was facing, just to find a glowing white horse charging towards me, with what seemed to be a soldier comanding him...

I squinted my eyes against the flash of light booming towards me but i was no use, i tried to at least escape some of the light by walking in a different direction, only to find the majestic animal slowing down as it approached me.

"Speak, why are you out in the middle of a field, at night?" questioned the soldier as he jumped off his noble steed with an arrow comfortably sat in the bow.

"I... er... I do not know where iam" i stuttered.

"What do you mean you do not know where you are? he said with a cold tone.

I noticed his silver armour with a turqouise cape reflected light off his horse, which also boar the same silver and turqouise detail upon its own bridle and saddle.

"Speak"

"I really do not know, I woke up in the field unable to fathom where I might be, could you please help me out here?"

Rather than answering me the soldier placed his bow and arrow back on his back and strode towards me with such an elegant air to him, i would be lying if i said my heart didn't jump at his towering presence!

At a closer look he had silver hair (in my world i would have complimented him on his fade\, but I'm not convinced he would understand me and probably call me a stupid human being spouting nonsense!)\, he had pale moon like skin which further accentuated his glistening turqouise eyes that matched the turqouise cape and gems upon his armour and his horse's bridle and saddle. In fact\, these two were quite the match made in heaven\, quite literally *smirking*

I found myself slowly losing myself in those gorgeous eyes of his, until he gave me a sharp poke in the arm followed by "Stop making that stupid face, who are you?"

"Erm... I am Lexi, I'm a seventeen-year-old college student, what about you?" I said whilst gently rubbing the now sore area he had just poked.

"I'm Hunter and that's all you need to know for now" he said sternly.

"Cool"

"Do you know where you are yet dummy?"

"Hey, my name is Lexi and you know that, and like i said before no, I don't know where i am!"

God would it kill him to have some manners, he's got the looks, but his personality is horrendous, yeesh.

"Hmph"

"Ever heard of a thing called manners?" I questioned him.

"Why do i need to be polite to a complete stranger, who doesn't even know where she is, for all i know you may be a enemy spy from the demon realm or the unkown territory, are you!?"

"N...no... I am a completely harmless human being who is just in a really weird dream right? I would never harm a fly and I'm just a college student"

"Dream? This is no such dream; you are in the human lands of this world"

"And what might this world be? And you mentioned 'human lands' does that mean there is more than one species living here... Hang on a minute DEMONS!!!?"

"Yeah, the demon realm, so what? and yeah there is more than just humans, where the hell did you come from? did you hit your head? ... I mean not that i care, oh and 'our' world is called Aura"

"Holy guacamole, what is going on right now, i should be sleeping in my bed, my lovely comfy bed, ready for another college day and more work to earn money so i can at least have a chance of surviving, this is just completely crazy"

"Shut up, you are irritating me, wait what is guacamole?"

I was about to start explaining what the creamy avacado dip was...

"D...dizzy... I feel dizzy" I managed to mumble whilst rubbing my head.

And before i knew it, I was slowly dropping to the lushs' emerald grass once again like a sack of potatoes (very elegant indeed) ...

Nothing but darkness swallowed my mind, as it engulfed my whole body forcing me to collapse

in the emerald fields, I was stood in mere seconds ago. I had fallen into this

abyss I now understood as a heavy sleep, which I was unable to awaken from.

I now decided to greet this darkness and see would what come of it…

…the warmth of the sun met with my skin through white sheer curtains, that danced on a

summers breeze, the ceiling I looked upon was decorated with a crystal

chandelier, which gave off a rainbow affect against a pale blue wall…

... the room was of various shades of blue and cream, accentuated by silver ornaments…

Beautiful! It was absolutely beautiful; how could I not be dreaming? This was incomparable to

my tiny apartment, I barely managed to rent out… this room was the size of my

apartment. No, this bed had to be at least half the size of it, what an

incredible dream I found myself in…

“Oh, so you eventually woke up, you took your time… geez”

Hang on a minute… what is he doing here? Am I dreaming of that cold fool?

Hell no! Isn’t happening, absolutely not… I quickly rolled over in the world’s comfiest bed

and tried to imagine this was a all a dream, a very strange dream.

“Hey!” he called out to me as I pretended to ignore his existence.

Suddenly I felt a heavy weight press down on me…I looked up and there he was lying right on top

of me with those fierce eyes of his!

“What the hell, get off me right now”

“You asked for it by not paying me any attention”

“Sorry I didn’t realise that a baby like you needed attention, why did you pounce on me like

your prey, you maniac!”

“Maybe you are my prey”

“Pervert”

At that he shifted off my sausage roll form and sat on the edge of my bed.

“So, this really isn’t a dream… And try that move of yours again and I’ll make sure you’re

the last of your lineage?”

“Ugh still not a dream dummy, I would like to see you try, how about you show me your

skills?” finished with a humph.

I returned with “Pervert, you wish!” despite the fact I could feel my face beginning to

heat… Why the hell should I be embarrassed, I have only woken up to this

strange world to find this cold demon acting up again.

I could have sworn I saw a slight amusement dancing in those dazzling eyes and a shadow of a

smirk from my recent response as he watched me go throw thousands of various

thoughts at the same time…

“Now I am extremely intrigued” he teased.

I only gave him a cold flat stare in return… a stare I have been complimented on for how

intimidating it is, which I was somewhat proud of… I had pale blue, grey eyes

which were stark against my slight tanned skin and freckles… the gentle breeze floated

through my brown hair, which was accompanied by my teal dip dye… I was small

but taller than most of my female friends and was quite slim from running

around during my various part time jobs, I would be lying if I said I didn’t catch

the odd person’s attention now and again, but I had the tendency to completely

ignore them… I guess I was cold too in my own way.
