The city's loud environment continues to cycle, but this time it abruptly stops. The brief silence is followed by the loudest scream, and from the distance, a floating man appears in the sky, wearing dark robes and wielding a sword-staff weapon. The mysterious man sways the wand, and the world suddenly brightens, as the flashing light had blinded everyone at the time.
When the light fades, everyone returns to their original location, and the sky is filled with various colored stars. Everyone looks around in bewilderment, attempting to make sense of what has occurred. David looks up to see if he can spot the mysterious man who used magic, but he can't.
"What the hell just happened?" he wondered.
Suddenly, the mysterious man vanishes into thin air.
"Hey man, where's that creepy guy from before?" inquired a tall boy with curly hair who appeared to be familiar.
"I dunno man, we're still inside; maybe he vanished?" replied another person in a similar outfit with curly hair and brown eyes.
Just then, the mysterious man appeared behind David, and the two of them teleported to the top of the building.
Out of silence the man spoke "David, look at this pathetic world and those pest walking around; You know? this world will betray you, like everyone else." The man whispers
"What the hell are you saying? Are you insane or something?" David asks.
"Don't worry, you'll see soon enough anyway." the man says as it is banished again.
After a brief moment of sudden dissaperance a large green meteor appears above the sky and breaks the sound barrier, knocking everyone out.
Everything turns blank in David's mind after the Incident.
A shout awakens David from his never-ending slumber.
"David! You asshole wake up!, Don't sleep in here... We need to get to the top of the mountain on the far east side... Come on wake up!" exclaimed David's best friend Chris.
"I'm coming, I'm coming,What the hell just happen anyway?" David said, "but where is Scott?"
Chris shook his head and stated:
"He was crushed when the building collapsed."
"Collapsed?"David looks around as he saw a city turns into chaos.
They hurriedly ran together to the mountain, while seeing people being crushed all over the city.
"Damn, this has to be a big disaster; what do i i know now is we're in a bad situation," David said.
Chris stated:
"Everything will be fine."
"It'll be fine once we reach the summit."
They continued to run as fast as they could.
Chris and David arrived at the summit of the mountain after an hour of climbing. It wasn't so much a peak as it was a large hill surrounded by many rocks. They were about to sit down when David noticed something: a massive white dome covered the entire mountain.
David queries:
"Hey, why don't we go back it may be dangerous?"
"Because if we leave, bad things might happen; if we stay, there may be a way out," Chris responded.
A loud sound echoed through the mountainside, and David heard some voices speaking.
"This can only mean one thing: the apocalypse has begun," Chris stated.
"There! Refugees on top!" exclaimed David, pointing to the crowd.
Suddenly, a massive explosion occurred as the meteor collided with the ground, causing a nuclear-like explosion, and luckily, the dome is strong enough to withstand the impact.
Few moments later after explosion the rescue helicopters arrived to help and flee the danger zone, a loud noise could be heard in the mountains. The evacuation helicopters quickly flew away from the site and took care of the other nearby buildings.
Everything soon returns to normal; the sky is blue again, and the clouds have vanished.
The water has submerged the city. If it weren't for high-rise buildings, the sea would almost completely erase the city from the map. The sun had returned, along with the birds flying around.
The helicopters then flew away in unison into a safe location.
Suddenly, a large fish-like creature covered in green crystal leaps from the water and devours a helicopter before attacking the remaining choppers flying around. The entire helicopter in which David is riding begins to shake and falls into the ocean. People try to flee but are unable to do so.
Then a voice from a radio in his ear says, "Everyone please remain calm and follow your leader; do not panic and keep calm."
Luckily ,the helicopter's fly has been stable.
A man then emerges from the cockpit and speaks.
"I'm General Raven, and please keep calm."
Suddenly, a massive bird flew past them, causing a strong wind to pass over them and push them away in the opposite direction.
After a few minutes of flight, everyone in the helicopter begins to cough heavily, as if they are sick. After a while, everyone began to notice black spots in their vision. Their vision abruptly goes black.
Everything is quiet until someone yells, "Help!"
An unknown girl began yelling. Then she starts coughing again and collapses.
They all mutate into a dreadful monster that aims to attacks David, Chris, and General Raven.
General Raven manages to shoot some, but it didnt do much.
As the others continue to fight, a man dressed as a doctor appears and heals them with a strange device. He takes a look around and approaches General Raven.
"I'm Dr. Stephen Foster, and I'm here to help you."
General Raven responds with a nod while protecting the two.
Suddenly, the stable fly transforms into a terrifying crash, as the pilots transforms into a monster as well.
General Raven instinctively grabs David, Chris, and Doctor Foster and parachutes down to the forest.
The one monster grabs Raven's feet but is kicked by Chris and falls to the ground, splatting like a pancake.
They witnessed the helicopter crash into the ground, killing all aboard.
They manage to land in the forest after navigating for a few minutes.
as they reach the ground they were all in pain and exhausted because of their injuries they received from the helicopter. David opens his eyes to see Chris, who is lying nearby, as they finally feel rested. Chris has also been seriously injured as a result of the helicopter fights.
Later...
Raven gradually opens his eyes and notices the young boys in front of him and passed out.
He tries to move his arms and legs quickly, causing him to groan in pain. He slowly moves his body forward and notices that the doctor is standing in front of him.
Doctor Foster notice his movement and speak to him.
Captain: Hello, Mr. Foster, how are you?
Doctor: Don't move around too much. I've already given you medication. Just relax right now.
Raven nodded and looked down to see how his team was doing.
He couldn't believe what he was seeing.
David is sleeping soundly next to him. His wounds were no longer open, causing him to sigh in relief.
When he looks down at Christopher, he notices that he is also sleeping next to him.
His gaze is drawn to the doctor who is standing nearby. He appears concerned as he checks on them.
Dr. Foster looks up, meets Raven's gaze, and smiles.
"I'll tell you a very specific story," said the Doctor.
As he returns his gaze to the doctor, General adopts a listening posture.
"Doctor, what is it?" General React
"Don't interfere with me when I talk, This is exactly what happened to the world 10 years ago. Protect David and don't push him away to the point where he lost himself, In the future David will be something everyone looked up to, and one mess turns everything to chaos, So don't let that happen! I can't say anything about the future as it will ruin everything and create a new branch of timeline.. Everything you, we, all of us, did was exactly what needed to happen. "The masked man who causes chaos is..." Doctor said as he was stabbed in the back.
Then, in front of General, a man in a black robe appeared.
The stranger removed his mask and smiled.
"There you are Foster, I know you guys do this. Oh, Look who i have here, Welcome to my future, you must be wondering where the future is? Well...it would be better if you knew that first. Looked at you, Mr Raven... All I want to do is give you the same advice I gave to the man before you, don't trust anyone, even your friends. Trust only those who you can trust, no matter what they think of you. That way you'll be able to control the flow of time. Now excuse me, I have a job to do." As the mysterious man suddenly banised together with the doctor.
General Raven rose to his feet and yelled:
"Where is that jerk?"
But the only sound left was his voice echoing throughout the Forest.
1.2
Following the helicopter incident, David becomes unconscious.
He then awoke in a place he had never seen before, with flashes of light coming through the windows and lighting the ten thrones.
David tries to investigate what happened, but his perception is also impaired. He could still feel someone looking over him, making him feel woozy and confused. When David turned around, he saw a different man seated in front of one of the thrones. His face is really attractive, and his hair is black. He had an angular face, light skin, and green eyes.
"Kid, I'm the one you killed as you fled the city," he said. Says The Man
David questioned, "What happened? I swear I didn't hurt anyone." The fact that he still didn't know where he was causing him confusion.
I'm sorry to interrupt, Lea, but I think you should explain what occurred, the man who had just chatting with him said.
David screamed, looking terrified, "Oh my gosh! What did I do to you?!"
The response David gave him made the man chuckle.
He added in English, "Don't worry you didn't injure me," and then he sat down on one of the thrones next to him.
David turned around once again and realized he wasn't in a normal room. Ten thrones could be found. Each of them had unique color patterns on their wings, each with a symbol in the center. They all share a same symbol. David asked himself, "How is this even possible? '.
"Don't worry, David; Lea will explain everything to you." said the man.
A beautiful goddess with blue eyes, eyes so light they were almost white, auburn hair, pale skin, white clothes, white wings, and a bright and sincere smile. David found it difficult to take his gaze away from her.
'Who in the world is she?"
She took a seat on the other throne. She gave him a sweet smile before speaking.
"So, David, I know you're not feeling well right now, but please allow me to explain," she started.
"You are initially in an astral or universe dream, and the person speaking before my is Leo, the deity of fire and water, while I am Lea, the goddess of nature and earth."
David frightening ponders his presence.
All he knows is that everything was perplexing, his memory was foggy, and his head felt so heavy; he doesn't know why he would be in some odd place like this.
Because you passed away, Daviiiiiiiiiii!
Akim, who David believes to be Lea, yelled enthusiastically.
"I'm Dead?"
, But... Fearful David replied, "But you said that was a uni-thingy dream.
Akim and Leo burst out laughing.
"I'm just messing with you, David, Ahem... I'm God of Consciousness and Dream, Akim."
"You passed out from exhaustion, you know you really pushed your limits," Akim explained, smiling.
David was uneasy after this conversation. Everything was perplexing, and the surrounding beings' speech sounded strange.
Suddenly, a flash of light appeared in one of the thrones, and the God Percus appeared.
When the man began speaking, David was taken aback. His voice is deep and soothing, and he resembles Akim and Leo in appearance.
"Hello, little friend. It's a pleasure to meet you," the man said softly as he approached David slowly.
David stood up and backed away from the man, who appeared to be terrified of him. If the look in his eyes is any indication, this man is dangerous, and he couldn't stand being near him.
His heart rate increases, and his breathing becomes more labored.
"Brothers and Sisters, why are you pressuring David?" "I'm Percus (Fur-Kus), the God of Knowledge," the man says suddenly.
Percus then takes another seat on one of the thrones.
This act was followed by another light, and a Minotaur-like creature appeared. David backs away until his back hits the wall; he was trapped and couldn't escape no matter how hard he tried.
David looked around frantically for a way out, but there was none. He felt panic rise within him, he couldn't breathe, and the man kept staring at him while grinning like an evil monster.
Everyone in the room was either lost in thought or simply watching the scene in front of him after that.
A soft hand suddenly touches his face; it was warm and comforting, and it was familiar. He was well aware of this sensation. The same hand gently strokes his cheek.
"Everything will be fine, everything will be fine," Lea murmurs reassuringly.
There was a loud crash as one of the golden doors burst open, and a tall redheaded man dashed towards him. He appeared distressed. "Are you all right?" he inquired.
David stared at the man, perplexed and terrified. "Who.... Who are you?"
"I'm Aamon, God of Time, and that beast is God of Animals Tauro, a known name after he goes away and stays in this realm," the man said as he wrapped his arms around David to calm him down.
"Imagine being bullied and imprisoned in a maze by mortals despite being a Half Monster and Half Human, and being killed like a pig by a Demi-God." Leo laughs and shouts
"Cut it out, Leo!" Lea yells.
Tauro, who had ignored Leo, sat on his throne.
After that, a black mist appeared as a dark robe covered a man. He is Hades, the God of Death and the Underworld.
"How have you been since our last meeting Tauro?" Hades asks.
He then turns to face the youngster. Hades takes a step closer and crouches down, his voice becoming softer as he gets closer to his face.
"Look at me, son," he commands.
"Oh, my name is Hades, and I rule the Underworld. I have heard many stories about you; now tell me, have you been doing well?" Hades asks.
David was speechless. "Um, yeah...Yeah..."
"Good," Hades says as he sits on the throne.
David then asks Lea, "Hades?... He's from mythology! But where are Athena and Zeus?"
"You see, Hades is a Realm Walker, He is Friends with the Other Realms god of death, especially Anubis," Lea exclaims happily. He is the God of Death in 50 Realms, and he goes by various names."
"Uhmm...Okay i guess". David doubtly replies, "Anyways why am i actually in this place?"
Akim pointed to David and said, "You David!, are in the Throne of Gods in Panrea Realm, We will bestow you some of our power and knowledge and became a Demi - God itself. You are now the new Demi-God that possess the power of Mimic. You own the power of Mimic as what the prophecy says. Additionally, you will be the savior of mankind along with the new changes."
The nervy surroundings changes atmosphere as the Gods and Goddesses rise to give him the power.
Behind David, a large ball of light appears. The sphere is glowing while it spins. David looks at it with disbelief.
"Is that..."
"Yes, your life force has become a part of it," Leo responds.
"May I...may I take it out?"
"Of course, kid," Leo says with a nod.
David extended his arm and took the orb in his hand.
"But I don't...feel anything."
"Not yet, of course, after you exit this realm," the Gods laugh. "There you have it, but beware that its not an infinite power and only limited each time, even if you master and train you still cannot make it infinite." Akim responds.
"Power for what?,Wait...Those Monsters in the helicopter is it for that? And why me?!" David shouts to the standing Gods.
"If Something was made, there will always be a purpose. Life can always have different purpose and those is better not to be known because if you find out you're purpose then you will start to question yourself and be afraid for something you either want or not." Akim replies
"Kid, As far as i want. I would like to have chat with you for long. It looks like prophecy is right... You're joyful and full of questions." Leo says while smiling.
"David, I Lea will always be with you. No matter where you go. No matter what happen ill help you."
"Well, i didnt really bestowed you any intelligence as what others did. I give you courage and the power of learning. Having to Learn by experience is better than cheating on it. " Percus added.
"Son, Don't knock to my door soon. I won't open it for you anyway. Maybe when it will be 2 million years. " Hades also Added while laughing
"As the God of Animals in this realm ,i Tauro will give you the power of Animal Whispering."
"Goodness, i would be honest and tell you this David, you may not be able to see us again or atleast all of us in the same room as like this. Master the Power we given to you and you can knock on this place again...Ps. not on Hades door. May the time of past ,present and future guide you." Aamon says while pointing to David.
The lights shining from the window all pointed to David's position and vanished him on the place.
As the Dities sat on their thrones , a knock from the giant door makes them paused.
"Is that him already? Is it possible" Akim says while being ready on summoning his mythical weapon.
"No, my siblings. Its not David. Its the man we're expecting." Aamon replies while holding a clock.
Suddenly the door open and a black mist of aura covered the room.
"Knock!,Knock!. Im back brothers and sisters!, You're one only brother! Mimeto at your service." A man with a robe that covers in chains spoken to them.
"You finally get you're memories back, How satisfying" Akim shouts
Mimeto suddenly teleports to the 10th throne and sit on it.
"Don't worry, I can't kill you or i will also not exist since 9 of you are the foundations of this realm." Mimeto says while sitting. "Don't worry, i have my power sealed on that stupid stone that i can't break or even go near." He added
"Or Am I?"
Chris is sitting in a dark room with no light and no end.
He can't see anything around him, but he's pretty sure it's just a black void. He looks down at his hands, which are slightly trembling, and his breath comes out in short pants, as if someone is holding him up.
He abruptly stops breathing after hearing the sound of someone walking through a door. He slowly turns his head towards what sounded like footsteps, and when he sees a pair of yellow eyes glaring at him from behind him, he knows it's a monster because his eyes were red. The monster approaches Chris, but he says nothing and simply closes his eyes, waiting for death. Then there was a bright white light, and before he could process what had happened, he found himself lying on a bed, staring at the ceiling, tears streaming down his face, not knowing what had happened or where he'd been.
Chris blinked slowly and rubbed his eyes as he sat up in his bed. It was still dark, and he couldn't see anything out of the corner of his eye, so he quietly rose from his bed to turn on the light, and his hand landed on something warm. He gasped and backed away quickly as he looked down at his hand. His left hand was covered in blood, dripping from his fingers onto the floor; he stared at it and felt dizzy.
The sound of someone running can be heard from the hallway. Approaching Chris's room.
The noise grew louder and louder until one person burst into the room.
"Chris!? What's wrong!?" David asked as he grabbed Chris' arm and began carefully inspecting him.
"I... I don't know". Chris muttered quietly, too scared to look at David, too afraid he'd tell him it was all a lie like always.
David let go of Chris' wrist and crouched down in front of him, putting a hand under his chin and turning his head this way and that, he put a finger against Chris' lips and gave him a small smile.
"It's okay, you're okay".
Chris nodded weakly before David picked up the strewn blanket from beside his bed and assisted him in getting underneath it and back to sleep. As Chris curled into a ball, David knelt next to him and gently rubbed circles on his shoulders to try to calm him. Chris took deep, shaky breaths, attempting to remain calm. David stood up and drew Chris over to him, hugging him tightly and running his hand through Chris' hair, rocking him back and forth as Chris began to feel better and eventually calmed down. David spoke after a few minutes of calming Chris down.
"Can you tell me what it was about?" he asked softly. David inquires while having a soothing voice
"You know you're hugging me right? This looks like gay, bro" Chris replies while chuckling a little.
"It's just that you needed a hug." David replies.
Chris then turns to face David in order to properly converse with him. The surroundings are terrifying and dark as he moves his head to turn around. Right after the changes he manages to look David face covered in Blood and soil like he had been buried. The surroundings then collapsed, and all walls vanished, transforming into a forest.
It's pitch black with no visible stars or moon, but that's okay because the moon shines above them, casting shadows from trees everywhere. Chris attempts to run, but his legs become stuck in a sticky glue-like substance, rendering him immobile.
"Get Down!" A low, scratchy voice instructs.
Chris looks to his side and sees a man who resembles David except for an eerie glow surrounding him, as if he were a ghost. Chris is grabbed by the throat and squeezed until he chokes, his feet slip free from the sticky glue, and he falls to the ground, coughing and gasping for air. The man then takes a step forward to loom over Chris, but David appears and pushes the monster away, throws him to the ground, and kicks him away, sending the monster away.
"What happen?" David remarks as he approaches Chris and casts a worried glance his way.
Chris's words are interrupted by yet another grating cough.
"I had a terrifying nightmare." He quietly admits.
Chris is helped back up as David puts his arms around his shoulders, rubs circles into his back, and nods.
David's face is the exact one Chris sees when he stands up and turns to face him again; it is filled with blood and horror as he approaches.
The scene then shifts to their old school, a familiar location.
He then leans over the sound coming from a nearby room and recognizes himself as the bully that he has always been toward young David.
The scene abruptly altered, and he saw himself brutally murdering elderly David.
Old David's visage is radically different when he looks at it. The man is not as afraid as he usually is; instead, he is grinning broadly and laughing joyously, as if he has never felt any pain in his life. Chris, who is getting older, looks in disbelief at the smirking David and wonders why he is wearing such a serious expression.
Chris fights to maintain his position but eventually drops to his knees as he continues to watch David as everything starts to fade away and he loses consciousness.
Then he awoke in a room he is familiar with because it was his when he was a high school student. It's his residence, and he recognized the voice.
"Chris, you're going to be late to school. Come down here."
David rushed downstairs to see a lady who was hidden by the light from the windows, and he saw his little self sitting in the kitchen eating.
Everything came to a halt when something exploded and turned everything into fire, and he saw himself fleeing outside to watch his dying mother suffer and die.
(Present) Chris, who is sober and in pain as he reflects on this day.
A corpse of his dying mother turns to face him and says, "This?, This is because of you! You can help me! But you run!" While standing and destroying the debris all around her.
Chris took a step back as he noticed that his younger self was also glancing at her.
His younger self turned around and smiled like a lunatic, "Why didn't you aid her?, You could have done it."
Chris threw up, and as the scene becomes more clear, his stomach hurts.
Nobody responds to his question and continues to ignore him.
The memory continues, and Chris hurries to the room he knows to be their bedroom as everyone laughs at him while he begs and sobs
His younger self lifts him up while grinning like an angel. He takes out a knife, slices Chris's arm open, and then watches as blood pours out. When he releases Chris, who collapsed to the ground screaming, while his imitated laughs at him.
Then the scene switches to him sitting at the table and hearing the instructor.
looks for David, who is missing, and realizes that he is in the hospital because someone attacked him and pushed him over the steps, causing various injuries.
The instructor questioned as a dark presence then filled the room.
A sudden terrifying smile appeared on the teacher's face, which made him even more terrified. "Do you think he really forgives you? After what you did to him?"
Scene shift.
He is back in his bedroom when he opens his eyes for the second time. He sits up straight, runs a hand through his curls, and makes an effort to block out the incident. Chris sees his reflection in the mirror a little while later and nearly yells in shock. He approaches and removes the bandage. He notices that the newly applied bandage is the exact same shade as the one that was previously present.
He says to himself, "I guess, you'll just have to wait for now," gets out of bed, goes back downstairs, gets dressed in a hoodie, and leaves his house, strolling past the park while on the road.
He arrives at what appears to be an actual hospital.
He approaches the help desk and nods in response to their question about whether they are currently holding somebody with the name David.
Hello, I'm sorry to bother you, but do you happen to have anyone else confined here wjth the name David? He inquired about a person who had recently been admitted to the facility.
He responds, "Oh, yes, we do. They were in Room 444."
Chris entered the room and said, "Knock knock."
David looked up at him and smiled slightly.
Chris smiles back and joins David on the bed, saying, "Hello, is there anything I can do for you?" David responds.
Then Chris shakes his head and says, "No, no, thanks." But thank you, he adds while sadly grinning one more.
After that, Chris extends his hand to touch David's shoulder but stops himself as he thinks back to the last time he did that. He instead takes his hand in his.
"Hey". "How are you doing," he adds as he turns to face David.
I'm good, how about you?" David asks.
"Great". Chris lies, and the untruth causes his heart to tighten.
Then why are you here?" Laying David asked politely.
Chris murmurs, "Uh, sorry for what I've done."
Don't worry about that. As soon as David finished speaking, he stood up and grabbed Chris' arm, hanging him, saying, "Sorry? Is that all? I mean, come on!. What if I push you down to the stairs as well? And all I say is sorry." Young black David yells something.
" I don't want to be pushed, so please stop". Chris gave a collected response.
"Good," he says, "now get the **** out of my way," as young black David releases Chris' arm.
Before Chris could respond or speak again, a hand covered his mouth; it was once more the young, black David who was keeping his mouth shut. Chris attempted to speak but was unsuccessful. He also attempted to move his leg but was obstructed by something on it. Black young David continued to scream, and when he looked down at his lap, he noticed that black hands were holding his leg. His voice reverberated throughout the entire hospital room.
Chris then feels something pressing firmly against his neck, and as a result of all the yelling and speaking while trying to do so, he slowly starts to feel numb and exhausted. Chris soon passes out and awakens in the ambulance on the way back to his house.
Then, a typical house appears in the scene. There is music playing, the TV in the TV room is blaring, and the lights in every room are so bright that they burn his eyes.
Chris walks through the hallway to his room and goes inside. Once inside he shuts the door and lays down and sighs.
He closes his eyes and drifts to sleep, thinking about all these recent events.
As he has fallen asleep he feels someone grabbing his foot, and it was David, his full color and looks like terrifying monster. He pulled Chris towards him and held him tight by the neck, making it difficult for Chris to breathe. He then started choking him as he was crying and begging to be let go.
He found himself back in the dark chamber when he opened his eyes, shivering and heavily perspiring. He attempted to slow down his rapid breathing, but it was ineffective. It seemed that the thoughts, memories, and negative emotions were too much for him to handle on his own, so he went and sat down.
Once more, he was overcome by remorse and felt pain all of a sudden. Tears streamed down his face as he opened his eyes.
He rubbed his forehead while sighing, got up, and looked around.
David exclaimed, sounding relieved, "You're finally awake!" "Do you feel better now?"
He replied, "Yeah," and gave David a small smile. "How long was I asleep?"
Nearly 8 hours
Chris stumbled, "Oh."
Hey, don't worry about it; everything will be fine. David gives him comfort.
"Thanks".
General Raven caught this fish for us, "Want to eat?"
"Um, sure. Thanks." Chris answers
. He was unable to look away from his food as he reflected on past occasions, and his guilt got worse with each passing second. He wasn't aware that David had said anything until he heard it himself.
"What are you contemplating?"
He asks abruptly, startling him, and he hastily replies, "N-Nothing, I'm OK!"
Chris, who is lying on the ground and staring at the food David has given him, is still disoriented and doesn't notice David standing next to him, who is watching him with concern.
"Are you okay? You're zoning out once more." David, who feels anxious, queries
Chris responds with a faint smile on his lips that was a touch feeble, "Hmm.. No. it's nothing."
"Is it about yesterday?" David inquired, placing an arm around Chris' shoulders.
"Well, sort of, but not really; it's just about my nightmare." Chris responds
"I knew it, you accidentally woke me up by kicking me, and when I look at you, you're crying." David responds while chewing his food.
Chris averts his gaze to hide his tears.
"No, it wasn't like that!" Chris says this while looking at David, then back down at his feet.
Sighs David "It's fine if you want to tell me later; just know that whatever your nightmares are about doesn't make me less of a friend.
So, if you need someone to talk to and share your feelings with, don't be afraid to reach out ". Before standing up from where they were sitting, David finishes by patting Chris on the shoulder.
"David, was I too harsh before?" Chris spoke quietly to David.
He looks at Chris with questioning eyes and tilts his head slightly to the side, indicating that he wants Chris to continue.
"Because, have you already forgiven me for what I've done to you in the past?" Chris inquires.
David gives Chris his famous 'I'm thinking' look before softly smiling.
"Of course I did!, You're always under peer pressure that time!" exclaimed David happily.
"Thank you, David," Chris said softly as he returned his smile.
"Anytime". David replied with a wink before departing, leaving Chris smiling.
Chris sighed softly and continued to eat. He can't help but think how fortunate he is to have such a kind and sweet person as a friend.
David then recalls what Chris was referring to: the time he was hospitalized after falling down the stairs. He then looks up at the starry sky.
He smiled as he remembered his happy days with Chris and realized that Chris was still asking for forgiveness he had already received.
"What exactly is it, David?"
"Ah, nothing! I was just wondering if there was any star here," David replied, casting a glance at Chris, who has a puzzled expression on his face.
A shadow can be seen in the distance that appears to be General Raven.
David turns to face him.
"Oh, there he is!" exclaimed David cheerfully, "I'll be right back!"
He runs towards General Raven after saying his goodbyes to Chris.
"What appears to be bothering you, David? Don't worry, I won't bite," General Raven said, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm just grateful for your assistance," David replied, brightly smiling.
"Of course," General Raven responds, "we must be cautious now because we cannot afford to be attacked by those monsters."
"Rest and eat for the time being; we'll be erecting a camp by morning," General Raven requested.
"Yes, sir," David responds.
He then returned to Chris, who had been watching them talk.
Chris inquired, "What did General Raven say?"
"We should rest and eat, and then we can build a new camp tomorrow," David replied.
"But I just awoke," Chris responds.
"I know, right? Ha Ha ha," David replied, laughing.
"Good evening, David." Chris smiles as he responds.
Chris walks around the forest after eating to get tired and then to falls asleep later. Then he felt something pull on his leg. It felt like I was being dragged by an invisible force, only worse. He tried moving his legs, which helped, but he soon became nauseous, as if whatever it was was sucking him away.
It transports him to a location where a single light shines through the trees. When he entered the forest, he felt a tremor. But there's something odd about this place; it feels like he's being watched. It's as if someone is watching and judging him. Chris tries shaking whatever he's feeling off, but it doesn't work.
A black wolf appeared on the side, resembling a guiding dog, with the wolf's nose pointing towards Chris. The wolf's eyes glow red, its body becomes shadowy, and it walks towards Chris. It snarls at him.
"I think you belong here," said the wolf, who spoke in a deep voice.
"What exactly are you?" Asked Chris, fearful of what the wolf might do next.
The wolf comes to a halt in front of Chris, growls, and then transforms back into a man. The man is taller, with dark hair and greenish skin, and he is dressed in armor that covers his entire body except for his face.
He gives Chris a friendly smile.
"How would you react if I told you I was your god?"
" The man inquired.
"That is illogical. Who exactly are you? And how could this even be possible? "You have all the signs correct," Chris replied.
Chris' response appears to have amused the man. "All right, then, allow me to enlighten you on the existence of gods."
He got down on his knees and looked Chris in the eyes. "My name is Eredus." The name translates to 'darkness' or 'dusk.' My father, who was also named Eredus, bestowed the title Eredus on me. Eredus is the god of the underworld. Eredus, as you are aware, rules over all shadows. "The king of shadows," the man said, looking Chris in the eyes.
"So tell me, Chris, what is your true desire?".
"What is my desire?" " Chris was perplexed.
"Yes, Your wish."
Chris refused to respond. He wanted to flee from this man, but something inside him tells him not to. Chris was perplexed by his own emotions.
"What is important is not my wish; what is important is what is." My ambition is to grow stronger and stronger than everyone else so that I can save everyone."
"And why would you want to be stronger than people you've never met?" Why would someone like you want to grow in strength? or maybe you just want to get away from your sins? "Eredus inquired.
"I am not guilty! I feel no guilt!" insisted Chris.
"Then what is your motivation for wanting to become stronger? If it's selfish, you won't last long."
"No.. I'm just....I have this urge...as if I need to make things right.""
"Do you think you'll ever be able to do that?"
"Perhaps not now, but someday."
"Well, then, why don't you try your hardest while you still can?" Even if your efforts fall short, they will provide you with direction. That's what matters," Eredus said before resuming his form and walking towards Chris. "Besides, I know you're not completely alone."
"What do you mean?"
" inquired Chris.
"Do not question me. Just listen to me."
Chris has no idea what the other means, but then another black wolf appears.
"Wait, what's going on?" " Exclaimed Chris.
"Your new companion. His name is Thror, and he is a wolf of darkness. Call him whenever there is darkness, and he will be there for you."
"Hey, nice to meet you, Thror!" Chris said, smiling.
"Hello Chris, nice to meet you as well," Thror said.
"He...He...Speaks?"Chris inquired, perplexed.
"Yes, Thror is extremely intelligent; don't ask me how, but he's always available when you need him the most. He comprehends everything. "Don't worry, Chris, you're not going to die without him knowing your secret,"Eredus said.
"Secret!?" Chris yells.
Eredus then lets out a loud laugh as he summons a staff weapon from the shadows.
It's a dark-colored staff. The weapon's top half glows purple magic. He then raises his hand and motions with the staff to Chris. The entire world around Chris suddenly changes color. Chris noticed a blue sky and found himself floating above a white landscape. When Chris looks down, he notices the same black staff weapon pointing up to the sky.
"You've crossed the line of my power; here, I'll grant you something you should own and make your own," Eredus says.
Chris begins to hear Eredus' chanting.
"Every God in this realm seeks a herald of their power, and I choose you, so take this orb. Use it to protect the world. Protect those you care about. Protect those who don't matter. Protect those who are lost. And protect yourself."
Chris begins to fall from the sky and lands next to Thror.
"Now go and use what you know; be free."
Chris takes Eredus' staff.
"How do you know I'll succeed, Eredus? I might never be able to do it!"
"That's why we need to help you, help each other, and become great and powerful," Eredus explained.
Chris nods his head. Eredus vanishes into the shadows as he takes a few steps back.
Chris examines the orb before slipping the staff into his pocket. He then spins around and takes a look around. He appeared to be in the middle of a forest. He can hear birds chirping and it appears to be getting darker.
Chris begins to walk forward with Thror, returning to the camp where David and General Raven are.
"Chris, remember Eredus bestowed the power of Shadow and Darkness upon you. You're not a god and always have limitations, so use it wisely," Thror says.
"I guess, but what happens when the power runs out? Will my powers vanish as well?"
"That depends. Some beings can live with the power for decades, while others can only live with it for a short time, as long as their life span is longer, and even then, their powers will weaken until they die," Thror responds.
When they arrive at the camp, they see General Raven and David asleep. Suddenly, a light appears in front of David.
"So Thror, Eredus selected this guy?" was uttered as the lights took on the appearance of a lion.
Thror questioned, "Is it you, The Godly Beast of this realm?
strangely.
The beast answers, "Yep, that's me.
How did you get here, exactly?
The beast replied, "I'm the protector of David. I've been waiting for this moment for a very long time.
Thror murmurs, "Guardian?, it means that human is the..."
Chris, who is unsure of what they are discussing, questioned.
You are aware of the lion?
Thror responds, "Of course. He was the keeper of all Dities and the protector of our world. He fought off numerous bad things and rescued many lives.
The noise startled David and General Raven, who then turned to face the creatures and Chris.
David retreats as General Raven defends him as he turns to face the animals in front of him.
David said, "What is that monster, and why is he here?!"
Although General Raven was about to act, Thror speaks first.
Are you actually the one described in prophecy, David?
His query
David's expression of astonishment when he looks at Thror is palpable.
David exclaims, "What are you talking about? I'm just a kid."
The Heavenly Beast blocks Thror as he strikes David, saying, "Then there's only way to tell if its you!"
The Heavenly Beast questioned, "What does this mean Thror?
"I don't believe in that youngster, but I trust in you," Thror Exchange
Then Thror combined with Chris to form the shield.
Chris exclaims, "Thror, What is this?"
Thor responds, "Prove Eredus you're worthy," and Chris nods in response "Very well".
David, who was initially perplexed by what was going on, backed away but then realized that it might be the best way for him to test his power. He then asks General Raven if he can back out.
Chris looks at David and says, "I apologize for this, but I need to demonstrate my abilities.
David asks, "What is he planning?"
Chris replies, "I'm trying to earn your trust by demonstrating to you that you shouldn't be afraid of me because I'm not going to hurt you. I won't let anything happen to you. I need to protect you. I need to find the forgiveness I'm still looking for."
David responds, "SIGH...Okay, okay. I'm listening".
David turns to stare at Chris, who begins to glow magically, making David step back even further.
Then David begins to shine and calls forth the celestial beast.
David shouts out, "Thy dities who guided us and gave us your blessing, I ask for your gifts and created me a weapon."
A sword coated in sparkling light descends from the heavens as a light appears in front of them.
I call upon the Dreambur, the blade of Akim, which dities have placed upon me, to assist me in winning. David yelled while aiming the blade at Chris. The Sword of Dreambur shone brilliantly, resembling the close-up brilliance of a star.
Thror said, "You summoned a god's sword, that proves that you must genuinely be worthy.
Then David summons the Heavenly beast and changes him into his armor, which glows with divine strength and knowledge.
David heard a voice suddenly say, "David, wield my sword skillfully."
As he raises his sword to cut down Chris, David's expression becomes grave.
"Chris, let's resolve this". David yells and beams.
As David releases his magic, a sudden surge of air charges from inside the forest.
around him and Chris, a tiny whirlwind emerged from the sword. The misty haze that covers them both is removed by the breeze. Chris was astounded by his friend's recent development of air magic. He lost himself in the endless possibilities of why and how his best friend could be able to start a mini-tornado.
Chris looks in the direction where he heard his friend's voice. To be honest, he thought he was hallucinating because of the wind, but David has yet to release his spell from his grasp. Chris's eyes widened as he realized this could be their first time fighting with magic together.
He knew they could both use magic in some way, but he didn't think David would have powerful magic.
"Is this how it will end?" David wonders. His blue eyes are fixed on Chris as he poses the question, his body still facing him.
Chris looks behind them, realizing he was too preoccupied with his thoughts to notice his surroundings when he was suddenly thrown through the air. He groans and opens his eyes to find an empty tree line.
Chris then counterattacked with his dark long staff imbued with Darkness' power.
Both magic users fight as if it is the last battle they will ever fight in their lives. As if this were a simple duel between old foes. David deflects every incoming blow with his sword as he blocks Chris's attack. They dance as if they are one. They know how to move perfectly, so one wrong step could result in death. This alternates as both David and Chris attempt to dominate the other.
Both parties were exhausted, panting heavily and sweating profusely as they prepared to conclude this duel.
As the sun set, the sky turned red, orange, and purple. When the two heralds finally came to a halt, they were drenched in sweat. Both are exhaling heavily in an attempt to catch their breath. They were both tired. Their hands were tightly gripping the handles of their weapons. Both were panting and sweating profusely.
They look up and see each other's eyes meet for a brief moment before laughing.
It wasn't funny at first, until they realized they couldn't stop laughing and began crying with laughter.
The Heavenly beast from David's armor then let go of its armor and spoke.
"I'm sorry if I have to do this, David."
"Do what?" David asks, his head tilted in confusion.
The Heavenly beast then took David's consciousness and entered his body.
"I'm tired of this Thror and Chris. You want to know how strong David is? I'll show you," David exclaims.
The beast then unleashes its powers, causing David's entire body to become heavy. His muscles are hardening and becoming more defined.
His clothes became tighter and tighter until his muscles were larger than his arms. His skin became rougher as his hair grew longer and unkempt until it reached his mid-thighs. His bones solidify, making him appear much taller than he is.
Chris's eyes widened as he saw what David had transformed into. Someone else was standing in front of him, not his friend. Something he couldn't even place.
Chris was getting nervous now. At this point, he was terrified for his life.
"What did you do to my friend?" Chris exclaimed, enraged and terrified.
The Heavenly beast laughs and walks toward Chris, pointing his sword at him.
"You see this? All this power that David could unleash right now but I choose not to? Well, why not give you a chance to see me use that power!, Thror you're no animal to question and judge the one who is chosen!" the Heavenly beasts exclaim.
The Heavenly beast then approaches Chris slowly.
"What do you mean? What happened to David?" yells Chris.
"You betrayed him, the one person he trusted! You betrayed everything he ever stood for, everything he gave of himself!" exclaims the heavenly beast.
"That's not true!" exclaims Chris.
"Yes, yes it is," the heavenly beast said, "because you let him down! You betrayed his trust, you broke his heart! Now I want to give you your chance to apologize."
"No, no, I refuse! I am David's closest friend, the most important person in his life."
The Heavenly beast who is controlling David then drew their Akim sword and was about to throw it at Chris when they were interrupted by an evil laugh.
A masked man floats through the sky wearing a hooded black cloak He has something shiny in his hand.
"This is not how you treat a guest, my lord," says the hooded man.
The Heavenly beast growled and spun around, his sword aimed at the individual.
"What do you know about a man named David?" inquired the Heavenly beast.
The man in black inserted the object he was holding into his pocket.
"I don't care about anyone but myself; that is the truth about my identity and how you should act in response to me," the man stated.
The Heavenly beast growled once more as he raised his sword towards the man but abruptly stopped.
The masked man then disappeared. Leaving no trace of dust behind.
The heavenly beast then emerged from David's body and spoke.
"It's not yet time for Chris, David, or even you, Mr. Raven, to release your power."
Then a blinding light appeared, rendering them unconscious.
"Heavenly beast, forgive me, but is it really necessary to clear this memory out of them?" Thror inquires.
"Yes, hide until you're needed, and Chris discovered his power on his own; we can't bid their power in a duel, and I have a bad feeling about that masked man," Heavenly Beast responds.
The setting changes to a city laboratory.
"Professor!, what the hell is that light on the Ground Zero Forest? There shouldn't be anyone in there!"
"I know, right? It's impossible to be in there because that's where the monsters' nest is; there's no way a human could be in there," Professor Rowan responds.
A loud explosion echoed throughout the building, distracting everyone from their studies.
"Well, that doesn't look good," the second officer said.
"What happened?" the first officer inquired.
"Just before it happened, there was this strange light in the forest; I'm not sure what caused it, but whatever it was had to be powerful!"
Everyone began running outside the facility.
While they were looking around the forest, another light appeared.
It was unlike anything they'd ever seen before, almost like an alien. Everyone came to a halt and stared in awe and fear at it.
When the light stops at the edge of the forest, everyone flinches as it slowly moves towards them.
"You!" Professor Rowan exclaimed, motioning to an officer to summon the first and second captains of the Youth Forces Against Monsters.
He dashed back to his office to retrieve some files before heading outside. Then a figure in black robes and a white mask appears from the sky.
When he notices the soldier's presence, he looks down at them with a blank expression on his face.
"Halt!" exclaimed Professor Rowan, motioning everyone behind him.
"Who do you think you are?" one of the officers asked.
"Why should I tell you? It's none of your business anyway," the person says.
"Wait!, you're the masked man from ten years ago!, you're the reason for this!" Professor Rowan exclaims.
The masked man then notices what the Professor is holding.
"Oh, just what I need," the masked man said after teleporting behind Professor Rowan.
He grabbed him and threw him across the ground, causing the Professor to fall hard.
The masked man then begins to attack the officers with various attacks; they try to fight back, but the masked man hits them until they are unconscious.
He paused for a moment before teleporting out of a portal behind him.
"Where is the culprit?" exclaimed Professor Rowan.
"The Masked Man has fled, Sir". One officer replied.
After some minutes everyone regains consciousness except for one person.
"We're is the Files?!" Professor Rowan searched while panicking around.
"Sir, It's under the bench there." Said the officer pointing it out.
Professor Rowan runs towards the bench and saw a folder with a note in it, he quickly grabs it and opens it up. He gasps once he read the contents of the note.
"Looking for something? I have it." with the smiling face below the paper.
A familiar voice than can be heard.
"Professor!, Are you alright?". A Red hair teen who appears to be Sinzu.
"Yes, I'm fine, thank you for asking," Professor Rowan replied.
"Is there any danger here?" Sinzu wondered.
"I believe he has already left the city," said one of the officers who had recovered from his injuries.
"That guy seems so powerful... And what the hell is that strange thing above him!" Professor explains a purple glowing circle-shaped thing that floats above the masked man.
"That's the Mark of Leo.. I never thought someone would pose such a strange power rather than me, also the Mark of Leo isn't purple, it must have been combined from another power." Sinzu responds.
"That explains why it's been affecting us," one of the officers commented.
"Are we going to go after him?" Professor Rowan inquired.
"No, that could be dangerous," Sinzu said.
"So, what are we going to do now?" Another officer inquired.
"It's better to rest before deciding whether going after him will be dangerous," Professor Rowan advised.
"All right then," Sinzu said, as the other officers nodded.
They walk into the Laboratory and start talking when Marianna appears.
"I'm sorry if I'm late, but I need to deal with something," Marinna explained.
"We got something really big from that Masked man earlier today, and it appears to be connected to the attack in the forest," Professor Rowan explained.
Really? Then we must go after him before things worsen! " Marinna exclaimed with glee.
"Perhaps, we scan the forest and there appear to be three, and sometimes four, people in the area!"
Professor Rowan stated.
"And?", Sinzu inquired.
"Well, they were fighting so much that one of them managed to release some power, which resulted in the explosion, but because they were in the forest, the only people who could've done that were those three," Professor Rowan explained.
Marianna and Sinzu then looked into each other's eyes and agreed.
"We'll go inside that forest and create an emergency rescue," Sinzu and Marianna both exclaim.
"All right, we'll notify Captain Royce of your plan and contact the second and third captains," Professor Rowan said.
"No need for 3 and 4, we're already one man's army!" exclaimed Sinzu, and both Marianna and Sinzu vanished.
As they went upstairs to inform the Captain of the plans, Professor Rowan sighed.
City Training Grounds
Everyone was currently training with the Knights.
"I think I can beat all three of you!" exclaimed one of the Knights.
They were all dressed in armor with swords on their arms.
"Ha! I bet you all could lose to me!" The knight exclaimed.
"Let's see how many punches you can take without breaking a sweat!" exclaimed another knight.
Both knights then began to spar with one another. and a shout breaks them.
"You! Where is Clea?" Sinzu exclaims.
The two knights salute and respond, "We believe she is in her office, sir!"
Sinzu then proceeds to walk toward the office.
When he gets to the door, it opens, revealing Clea sitting at a desk facing away from the doorway.
"Clea, there are some urgent matters I need to discuss with you," Sinzu says, looking Clea in the eyes.
Sinzu takes a seat and turns to face Clea.
"We're off to the forest." Sinzu says with a slight smile.
Her mouth drops as her clear eyes widen at what he said.
She didn't say anything else and simply stood up and followed Sinzu. She doesn't want to question the decision, but she knows something is wrong.
When they arrived at the door, Marianna was standing there looking at the clock.
"Slowpokes! Come on!" Marianna yells at Clea and Sinzu. They then proceed into the forest.
Clea, Sinzu, and Marianna then walk around the forest, beginning at the entrance, and are greeted by a medium-sized monster pig with green crystals all over its body.
It begins to move in the direction of Clea but is stopped by the arrow fired by Marianna at the pig. It begins to grow rapidly as the forest is tossed about by strong winds.
"This is bad," Sinzu says as he prepares to fight the monster but gets tossed first and knocking him out of consciousness.
When the pig got close to her, it began to glow a bright yellow before turning black like charcoal. Marianna attacks it immediately with her bow and shoots an arrow at it, causing it to burn.
Clea simply observes the scene, watching Clea use water to heal the wounds of Sinzu caused by the pig's attack.
It wasn't until the dust settled that they realized what was going on. Another monster was lurking behind them. This one resembled the first one and appeared more aggressive than the pig.
They both assume battle stances and prepare for the battle ahead.
The monster was still glowing yellow, and it was getting bigger by the second. Even though they tried not to waste time, they had no choice but to fight back.
The monster was about to charge forward when it came to a halt. Its glow grew brighter and brighter until it was completely bright.
As it began to breathe heavily, the two girls were perplexed.
The pig started moving towards it, and it was getting faster and faster.
The pig begins to run faster and faster, and it begins to charge.
"What's wrong?" Clea asked, looking at Sinzu.
"I'm not sure," Sinzu says, his mind racing with the possibility of the monster evading Marianna's arrow.
He then notices Marianna's focus has shifted to the monster that has ambush them.
"Is this a new type of monster?" she wonders, trying to figure out what exactly happened.
Her eyes widened as a large hand was raised and then slammed down onto the ground, causing the trees to shake and Marianna to fall to the ground.
"Are you okay?" she asks, looking up at him.
His eyes widen in response to her question, and he shakes himself out of whatever trance he was in.
"Yeah, don't worry about me; you need to focus on the monster in front of you," he rushes over to her and kneels down next to her.
Clea looks away and walks over to the monster, shooting arrows at it in the hopes that it won't be too long.
The monster was starting to glow yellow again, and its breathing was labored.
It was almost gone when Marianna noticed something odd.
"Look!" she exclaimed, pointing to the pig who was still chasing the monster.
Sinzu shifts his gaze away from the pig and follows where she was pointing. The pig is still running fast. As fast as it can.
Sinzu then summons his flame sword, saying, "Leo, let us burn everyone in our path!" He sways it like a normal sword, but it is blazing hot. Leo appeared there.
Leo raises his right arm and fires a stream of flames in a straight line.
Sinzu swings his sword down, striking the ground and causing Marianna to fall on her back.
She lands awkwardly on the hard ground and groans.
Sinzu rushes to her side and assists her in sitting up. He turned towards the monster that was charging at them once she was sitting up.
Sinzu noticed that Leo was running out of steam.
"If we're going to make it through, we'll have to finish this in less than two minutes," Sinzu told Marianna.
"Got it," Marianna said, pulling out her bow and arrows.
She then stands up and points her bow at the monster.
Sinzu does the same, and his sword glows orange once more. As he fires his sword at the monster, his blade moves in a vertical slash across the air.
The sword collides with the monster's chest and knocks it away with a loud BOOM.
Sinzu collapses to the ground.
He's panting heavily and staring at the monster that's rising from the ground.
The monster then begins to glow red and charges at them once more.
Clea and Marianna rushed forward to assist Sinzu in slowly standing up.
As he caught his breath, he put his sword away.
"All right," he says between breaths, "we should probably hurry, there's an exit at that area, and the space might help us."
Marianna nodded as she took up her bow.
"Let's go," she said.
They all ran away from the monster, the monster following them.
"Wait! Don't slow down!" screamed Clea and Marianna.
They hadn't seen that coming...
Clea turned around to see the monster closing in on them.
"Dammit!" screamed Clea as she ran away from the monster, towards the forest exit.
"You're going to have to catch up with us soon!" warned Marianna.
Clea didn't respond as she continued running, dodging trees and rocks on her way to the exit.
When she finally got there, she began sprinting out.
"Wait!" she hears someone say behind her, and she turns around to see Marianna.
Marianna's footsteps follow her as she turns back to continue running.
Marianna comes to a halt and searches frantically for the monster.
"Where did it go?" she inquires.
The monster appears right next to Sinzu before she can respond.
Marianna screams and tries to avoid the monster, but she misses.
She falls to the floor and is struck by its tail, sending her flying several feet away.
Marianna rolls to the side and manages to get up after landing on her stomach.
Looking around, she notices Sinzu lying motionless on the ground.
She rushes towards him, attempting to rouse him. She yanks on his shoulders and shakes him.
She tries to say something, but due to her injury, she coughs.
Sinzu stands up, a large gash in his left shoulder. He looks at it as blood flows out of it.
"My sword... I need my sword," he says, struggling to stand up while clutching his wound tightly.
As the monster gets closer, the three of them rush to flee.
"We have to keep moving," yelled Clea.
They run as fast as they can towards the exit, following her lead.
A massive tree was thrown in the monster's face before he got his claws into Sinzu's face.
When the three look in the direction from which they came, they see a man wearing a white shirt and a military uniform.
The man was carrying a spear that was attached to a large hammer. He raises his fist, ready to punch the monster.
"Who are you people, and how did you get here?" he inquired of the three.
"We don't know who you are, but we came here to rescue three people," Marianna explained.
"A rescue mission?" he asked, perplexed.
A gust of wind blows past them before they can respond, and the monster that was fighting with Clea flies back and lands next to the man.
The man frowns as he looks at the monster that attacked him.
" this little pig bullying you?" the man inquires suspiciously.
"That thing was a monster!" exclaimed Sinzu, stunned.
"Yes.and it's so strong like we've never seen before," Marianna replied, "and no, we don't have time to explain."
"All right, you stay here and protect these kids," the man said, motioning to the trio. Then he walks up to the monster and punches him in the face, sending him flying into the large tree.
Clea screamed, "Wait! We can't leave!"
The man then turns to face them, hands on his hips, and smiles broadly.
"Girls, proceed to the exit; there you will see a cabin and two teens, and you, Sinzu, right? Fight with me," said the man.
The two exchange nods and turn to walk away.
"Hey!" they hear someone yell, and it sounded like they were their age.
Marianna and Clea come to a halt and turn around.
A young man approached them.
As he looked at them, the man held a wooden sword.
"How many of you are there?" inquired the man.
"Three," Clea replied.
"Just three huh? Alright," the guy sighs as he pulls some rope from his backpack.
The boy then points to the monster that had been attacking the man and Sinzu.
"Can we assist you guys in fighting that thing?" he inquired.
The man looks at the boy before turning to face the monster. He then returned his gaze and nodded, allowing them to join them.
The boy nodded and began drawing his sword, ready to charge at the monster.
"Heavenly Beast, summon!" the boy yells, and a glowing lion appears in front of them.
It has begun to attack the Pig Monster and burn it alive to the point of melting. The boy can be heard panting as if he is tired.
"Finish him, Mr Raven and whoever you are." As he collapsed on the ground.
"Thank you, David! We'll take it from here," Raven humbly repeats. He then turns to Sinzu and asks, "You're a fire user, aren't you?"
"Yes...I am!" Sinzu responds.
"Heavenly Beast, lend me some power, and Sinzu, let us charge together!" Raven gives the order.
Before disappearing, the heavenly beast bestows a small amount of power on Raven.
Sinzu and Raven charged at the same time, with Raven piercing the monster's skull and Sinzu burning it to a crisp.
Raven then invites them to rest at the Cabin while carrying David on his back.
