It was midnight. I was in a deep and peaceful sleep, which didn't last any longer when the door flew open with a loud noise. I gasped as i woke up. The room was filled with a strong alcohol smell. He was completely drunk. His plain white shirt was unbuttoned and messy. His eyes looked dark like a devil. His beautiful dark brown hair was messed up. He had an alcohol bottle in his hand. He looked up to me and gulped a huge amount of alcohol. I was trembling due to fear. I was scared but not surprised!.

He walked towards me breathing heavily and i could see that he was pissed. I was terrified by looking at the way he stared at me. I started moving backwards as he came close to me. And then he pinned me to the bed and started kissing me like a wild beast. I was so shocked that i couldn't react. His kisses were getting deep and harsh. tears started rolling down my eyes. He bit my lower lip harshly and it started bleeding. I hissed in pain. i started to struggle but he wouldn't leave me from his strong grasp. I felt like he was gonna tear my lips apart.

After a few minutes of struggle, I pushed him with all my strength. He fell off the bed. okay, this made the situation even worse. He quickly climbed the bed and started choking me with his bare hands. He was so mad at me. "I Hate You Amelia! You Ruined My Life!" He said as he pushed me. Even I was enough of his behaviour. "DO I LOOK LIKE I CARE? I WASN'T EVEN INTERESTED IN THIS MARRIAGE AT ALL! YOU WERE THE ONE WHO MADE MY LIFE SO MISERABLE. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A SPOILED BRAT! I-" before i could continue, i felt a sharp pain on my left cheek. he slapped my cheek. I couldn't take this anymore. I pushed him hard making him fall. I ran and locked myself in the washroom. This shit was driving me crazy. I washed my face and looked in the mirror. My face was red and swollen. There were red lines around my neck. I couldn't hold back anymore. I cried as loud as i could. "I.. I'm gonna end this here! right now!" i said as i broke the mirror with a hard object which was near me. The mirror was completely shattered. I picked a piece of mirror and held it tight until it started bleeding. "Finally I'm getting out of your life, my dear Asher. Good Bye!" i said with tears in my eyes. I slit my hand with the sharp piece of mirror and then... I blacked out.

......ASHER'S POV:......

Ughhh my head hurts, i shouldn't have consumed a lot of alcohol. i entered my bedroom where i saw Amelia sleeping like a big fat pig. she woke from her sleep and she gasped as she saw me. I was furious. I wanted to kill her but... her thick pink lips and her perfectly curved body turned me on! I couldn't help but go and kiss her lips. at first she wouldn't even let me enter my tongue inside her mouth so i bit her lower lip and she moaned..... arghh the satisfaction! I wanted to taste every inch of her body. Then she pushed me so hard that i fell off the bed. I wanted to kill her! How dare she push me down. i quickly climbed the bed and tried to strangle her with my bare hands but i felt bad when I saw her crying. But still she Ruined My Life! she started yelling at me as if it was my mistake. I couldn't take it any longer as i slapped tight on her cheek. she again pushed hard and rushed to the washroom. I don't care about her at all! but i could hear her weeping. humph! does she think that I'll have sympathy for her? NEVER! and all of a sudden i heard a noise of something breaking. I felt like something was wrong, so i quickly rushed to the washroom but... "DAMMIT! THE DOOR IS LOCKED!" I yelled. I tried all sorts of ways to break open the door. At last I opened the door, but I was stunned when I saw.....

At last i opened the door but i was stunned when I saw Amelia on the floor unconscious and her hand bleeding. The first thing i did was to check her pulse rate. Her pulse rate was getting lower and lower. I quickly covered her wound with a piece of cloth and drove her to the hospital.

......**a few moments later**......

...**ASHER'S POV**...

I was sitting on the bench out of the ICU, leaning my head against the wall. Tears rolled down my eyes. "I shouldn't have done that to her. Maybe i was a bit too harsh on her." i thought to myself. "But i never thought that our life would turn like this. You are not same the same. Why did you change, Amelia?" I mumbled as i closed my eyes.

...**A FEW MOMENTS LATER **...

...**Amelia's pov:**...

"my head hurts!" I opened my eyes and saw myself in a hospital bed. there was a nurse beside my bed. she looked at me and asked if how i was feeling. I looked at her and tried to say something but i failed to! i felt like someone locked my mouth. i couldn't utter a single word so i just looked at the nurse and nodded my head as a response. the nurse went and called the doctor.

i closed my eyes and felt something weird. it was a mixed feeling. i didn't know whether it was a good thing or bad to be alive. i was already fed up by this goddamn life! i wanted to die! but... why am I alive? why did he save me when he was the one who wished me to be dead!? He saved me but he didn't even come to see me. he is not the same Asher I've loved. why did you change... Asher? why? I felt someone's presence near me. i didn't want to open my eyes. so i pretended to be asleep. soon i felt someone caressing my face. T...this touch! i quickly opened my eyes and saw him sitting beside my bed. Ofcourse, it was none other than Asher. he was holding my hand. he caressed my hand and looked at me. his eyes looked puffy and red. it looked as if he cried a lot, but why? i tilt my head to avoid his stares.

"A..Amelia... why would you try to kill your self? I know i was a Jerk.. i..i mean i am a Jerk to you. but please forgive me Lia. please"

"Just call me Amelia , okay? it's not like you love me or something ? then why would you call me like that?" i questioned him. he remained silent. "take care Amelia, I've some work" said Asher, as he left from the room leaving me in a confusion. "he is hard to understand ". i mumbled as i leaned my head against the wall. those sweet memories with Asher started running in my mind. my mind was in a complete Chaos. i closed my eyes and recalled those sweet days , where me and Asher were close to each other.
