Normal POV

----11.30, tournament field----

The sound of the horn was heard as the host spoke to the audience through the mic. "Welcome to the jousting tournament on this ceremonial day. On this event, hundreds of knights have come to participate on this tournament." The crowd's shouts, cheers, and clap was heard across Rome, excited for the match.

"Today his majesty would like to join as well, appointing the greatest knight in all of Rome to fight on his behalf, the 'Prince of War'". The crowd gasp and cheers, for the dark knight never participates in tournaments. Every knights are afraid and nervous, for the dark knight has slaughtered more than 10.000 soldiers and 1.000 knights. No one knows his identity, not even the king.

------earlier that day------

"Hey, DK watcha up to ?" The White Knight asked. Someone suddenly jumps up and scared them, well, one of them. "Whats up guys" "AH!, RK !WTH MAN !?" "Sorry, where's BR ?" asked Red Knight. "I don't know probably still sleeping..." " Dear Zeus, its ceremonial day and he's still sleeping ?" While they're busy talking to each other, DK slips out and started his trainning for the day. "Dude, where's DK ? He was here like a second ago...." "I dont know, he's always like that. It's 95% chance he went trainning."

And as WK said, DK was out on the trainning grounds, perfecting his swing. His specialty was a scythe, WK's was a sword, RK's was archery, and BR's was an axe. They got their names for a reason. Dark Knight : has slaughtered 11.000 people and to add on that he's merciless, White Knight : after killing the enemy, he would stab the kingdom flag on its body, shows loyalty, Red Knight : he shows torture as he was assigned to interogate, and Blood Reaper : was an executioner with a total of 1000 executions.

Meanwhile inside the knight compound...

BR shows up and he doesnt look happy... "Dude can you pls just shut up! I'm trying to sleep." "Hey, today's the ceremonial day, did you forget ? You're supposed to escort the king today." WK reminded. And of course BR imedietly woke up and shouts curse words while running along the hall to the armour room while RK and WK are laughing their butts off.

On the trainning ground DK was horseback riding while swinging his scythe when he was approached by the king himself. DK got off his horse and bow down to the king. He said "Your Highness, may i ask you what you're here for ?" Ask DK imedietly. "Dark Knight. You seem to be doing good." After a little stroll around the field, the king suddenly said "I assigned you to join the tournament on my behalf. I will be expecting you at noon." After he said that, he turned around and goes back inside his carriage. Leaving behind a shock knight. DK has never fought on a tournament, when he fights, he fights till death. Who knows what'll happen when he plays.

----back to beginning time----

"Hey look, it's the Pure Angel !" "What, no way!, the greatest female knight !?" "Yeah i heard that she's slain 8.000 soldiers on her own!" "OMG, it's Pure Angel !" Pure Angel was walking towards her friend Satan Devil when the gossips and chaters about her started. PA was popular enough to get known for she is the greatest female knight. Some say that the female knight herself might rival against the Dark Knight.

She gets her name from her fighting skills and personality. She's kind and generous and yet she fights elegantly but strong. Her weapon of choice is a pair of twin swords.

Her friend and sometimes partner is Satan Devil. SD was one of the top female knights, not as strong as PA though. She gets her name from her mischievous tricks and tactics. Her weapon of choice is a spear.

"Its been a long time since i see you Angel" "You too Devil" PA and SD are best friends since their young. They got seperated since they work for the dukedoms. "So, how's life A?" "Not bad actually, you?" "Same old, same old. Btw, i heard you're gonna fight against the Dark Knight, is it true ?" "Yeah, probably. Though I'm not really that scared, just nervous" "The Pure Angel, nervous? Thats new." "Well when you're facing Rome's greatest knight, then yeah, I am." SD takes deep breaths and said "Well I'm just happy I'm not the one facing him." PA just rolls her eyes jokingly of her frend's silliness.

----time skip to tournament----

There was a total of 5 round a bonus 6th round especialy for the 2 greatest knights.

The first round ended pretty much quick as some of the knights we're eliminated. The second round was quick as well but it took a little more longer. On the third round, the fight began to bring heat and tense. The fourth round was quite heated as the knights has started to be more balanced. And the fifth round was tense. All knights seem to be on the same level of strength and there were only 2 female knights left. Satan Devil and Pure Angel. The male knights on the other hand was left with Blood Reaper and of course Dark Knight. Red Knight and White Knight were out after fighting each other and ended uo witha tied score.

Then after a 10 minuite break, a 6th round has held. Dark Knight vs Pure Angel. Yep, the greatest knight vs the greatest knight.

(Im not that good in fighting scenes so bear with me...) Both of them, aware of each other's strengths were on high alert for this round. As they circled around each other, examining anything they could to help them. They tense were already through the roof. No one, not even a single audience dared to make a sound. As the bell rang. They charged unto each other. Neither of them planning to back down. As they kept on fighting, suddenly PA's hand pushed DK's mask, making it flew and eventually drop to the ground, everyone started to try to catch a glimpse on his face. Once they did, they gasp and some of them even faint. DK was a handsome man, even PA is stunned. She was at shock, and let down her guard. And if course, DK took that chance to pinn her on the ground. She couldn't fight back, her figure were slim and petite whilst his was lean and strong. And of course, she lost to the Dark Knight.

----time skip to midnight----

Because of that day's event, he couldn't sleep, now everyone knows his face and he's kinda mad, ok scratch that he's furious, he had been hiding his identity for so long and a girl ruinned it. Trying to shake the thoughts out of his mind he went into the forest, near the compound to refresh. Inside the forest, he found a waterfall. As he wanted to dip inside, he saw a girl, no, a woman, bathing and enjoying the nice refreshing water. As he went to get a closer look, the dagger that he brought, reflected the shine of the moonlight and got into her eyesight, in a hurry, she dressed and quickly ran out of the forest. He wanted to chase her though, but he choose not to.

----The Next Morning----

RK, WK, and BR goes up to DK and asked "Hey dude, you okay ?" asked WK with worries found in his words. "You think !?" "Do you think The Ablience will find out ?" "Let's hope not. If they did, they would demand for DK to be sent there." BR said. Out of frustration DK raged "AGH, DAMN IT !" Knowing that nothing can calm their fellow knight, they left him to be alone.

DK goes off running to the woods. He lets out his rage by cutting the trees with his scythe and somehow ended up back again to the waterfall. He suddenly remembered about last night. Out of curiosity, he goes closer to the waterfall and surely enough, he found something. He found a beautiful necklace, it was simple yet elegant. It was a pure white diamond necklace with the shape of a spade. He was stunned and knew that someone who wears that necklace is a royal. Suddenly somone called him "Give me back the necklace!"

----15 minuites ago, on the Diamond Compound----

PA was scared she had just welcomed SD unto the compound when she realises that her necklace was gone. With her panicking, she tried to remembered where she had been. Yesterday after the tournament, to lose some tense she went into the forest and dip inside the waterfall, remembering that she rushses back to the waterfall and saw someone who is definetly a knight took her necklace. With courage, she steps forward and said "Give me back the necklace!"

When he turned around she was shocked "Hello to you too Pure Angel" DK said with voice full of anger. "Is this yours ?" He asked. " Yes it is." She said impatiently. "It means you are a royal, aren't you ?" DK asked, and he knew he was right because after he said that, she imedietly swallowed hard and was at shock. PA was so scared that she froze and finally give up and said "Yes, I am the princess of The Crowessein Kingdom." "Why are you here ?" He asked, sternly. "I'm here to join the tournament, of course, my parents have given me their permission." She then looks at him, staring into his eyes and said, "Looks like you are a royal as well." He was shock and froze. "Your eyes glimmered and shines as clear as a diamond." She then gets close, not breaking eye contact and took the necklace from him and whispers "Only royals from The Ablience have eyes like that." Then she goes back running. While he was still frozen on his feet.

After a few minuites, he returned to the compound. When he arrived, he was not expecting what he saw. The other knights were confused. There stood the royal guard of The Ablience Kingdom along with the royal butler, Oreno. "It has been a long time, Prince." He said and all knights was shock because it was clear that he was talking to DK. "Oreno. Why are you here ?" he ask straightforwardly. "To bring you back, your highness." He responded "You know very God Damn well that I dont want to." "You must your highness. A neighbouring kingdom wishes to unite. It's your responsibility as a prince and as a son to go home."

DK hates his father. He was treated as a mere statue. His father gave him tons of work without even caring for him and always ignore him. He have had enough of it. When DK was 7 years old, he started to have violent tendencies. He kept it in, until he ran away and started his own path as a knight. "Lets have a duel, Ryland." A mysterious sound came from behind the soldiers. That voice was the king of The Ablience Kingdom, Hayden Justin Hadryc.

Everyone present imedietly bowed, everyone except DK ( Ryland ). "Father."

"If you win, you may do as you wish. If you lose, you shall do as I say." The king ( Hayden ) announced. "And if we tie?" "Then the crowd shall cast a vote. Deal ?" "Deal" Ryland sealed it with a handshake.

As they took place on the trainning ground, they have calculated their movements, scanned the opponents muscles and strength. "Ready, and GO !" As soon as the bell rang, they charged towards each other. Not planning to back down. The fight was intense, every knight was cheering on the fight. The soldiers were securing the trainning area as Oreno makes sure that there wont be any cheatings. The fight goes on and on until Hayden and Ryland suddenly froze in their spot. Turns out that Ryland's scythe is pressed the king's stomach and the king's sword was pressed against Ryland's neck. Seeming it's a tie, the knights cast votes. One by one the put their vote inside a box.

Oreno was counting the vote while the knights were talking about their skills, reflecting on their self and pledge to train harder. On the other hand, Ryland and Hayden is inside the guest room, talking about battle strategies and the kingdom's growth. No, they never talked about personal live, they never even form a bond together. "The enemies have grown stronger. Though they are not as strong as us, we must take more precautions." The king explained, seriousness and sternly. "The enemy is located South, we are located North. The enemy can easily go through the forest and ambush us from the main capital. In the meantime. We must train more troops. Find skillfull and agile knights to lead the troops." "The South has been very low on their resources. They plan to take over the kingdom. So far The Crowessein Kingdom is the biggest after us. They are the one who wishes to unite." "They want to be part of the biggest kingdom. By uniting our kindom, we will be the greatest and most powerful kingdom in the world. This is a good opportunity to take the Crimoln Kingdom down. But we must make a surprising visit." Ryland finnished.

He then whistled and a spy jumped in from a window. "Master, you called." "What have they planned?" Ryland asked, a hint of anger and seriousness in his voice. "They plan on going in three days time. They are currently preparing the meals for the trip, rest in the Middle Kingdom's forest and salvage whatever they can." The king was shocked that his son has an assassin spy. Though he is gratefull for that. "Great, now lets start. Call the rest of the "Elite 4" here." Ryland said. A few minuites later, William (White Knight), Jovan (Red Knight), and Drake (Blood Reaper) came into the room. "Ry, what is it?" Will asked concern and worry in his voice. "Battle Strategies." They imedietly circle around the table and asked informations about the plan.

After they talked about battle strategies and plan, they went to the trainning ground for the announcement of the winner. "The vote ended up in a percentage of 55.6% and 44.4%. The winner is, your majesty, the king." Everyone was shock, but they cheered and clap. Ryland was not happy. Oreno then came up to him and said

"People have long forgotten who you are, it's time to remind them." Ryland gave him nothing but a cold stare. He then turns around and went back to his room to pack his belongings. He stands by what he said. Meanwhile, the king requested that the "Elite 4" would join the king back to Ablience to lead the troops and plan battle strategies. At first, they object but knowing that their friend is going to have a battle, they agreed.

---timeskip, on the road to The Ablience Kingdom---

"Ryland." Hayden called. Ryland simply looked at his father and listen intently. "This union between us and the Crowessein will be sealed by marriage. You have a right to say no, but the Crowessein have asked their daughter to agree. She did fight back but in the end, she agreed. So you have no other choice but to marry her." That news brought Ryland to the edge, but he managed to keep calm. Though Ryland doesnt really care unless she meddles in his business, then he might even pull out his scythe. "I will agree under one condition. She must not meddle with my business." "If that's what you wish." The king said.

Not long after the conversation, they arrived. The castle was very big and has amazing patterns decorating the place. The golden gate was then opened and they were greeted by the guards and servants as they walked in.

They proceed to walk towards the Throne Room, where the queen was waiting. They passed the Memoriam Hall, and they saw knights, and royal rulers before them. Not long after, they arrived in the Throne Room and saw a beautiful woman in her late 40's.

That woman is the queen of The Ablience Kingdom, Asterella Valkryn Clovr Hadryc. As they arrived, they greeted each other with bows, hugs and kisses. The Elite 4 was then introduced to the war general of the Ablience Kingdom. Meanwhile, Ryland and his parents were talking in the king's study room.

"Do you know about the union, son ?" The queen asked full of worry and concern. Ryland simply nod and the king continued "The Crowessein royals will arrive tommorow around noon, be prepared by 11.00. You know the routine in this castle." Ryland nod again and took a book out of the shelf. "Good, you may go back to your room." Ryland then faces his parents and said, "If she meddles with my business I wont hesitate to kill her." With a warning and angry tone. He proceed to bow and went back to his room.

---The Next Day, 11.00---

Ryland stood next to his father with an overwhelming aura. The king havent given an announcement that the prince is back, they plan to wait until the union is completed. As they waited, Will, Jovan, and Drake came and stood behind Ryland. Waiting for their "sister-in-law" to come. Ryland have his trusty sword, hanging on his waist, he left his scythe behind for he can fight well with a sword.

The sound of hooves, clatering was then heard and approaching as they stood calmly. Two carriage, pulled by the horses stoped tight in front of the Ablience royal family. Then, a man in his early 50's came out of the first carriage, then proceed to help a woman in her middle 40's. They are the royal rulers of the Crowessein Kingdom. King Olsive Gregorian Hofreign and Queen Raelyn Thorvern Hofreign. "Olsive, its a pleasure to see you." Hayden greeted. "Pleasure's all mine, Hayden. It's finaly time, isnt it." Olsive greeted back. "It is, well the union will bring us to a glory and peacefull future, won't it." "It sure will, Hayden. This is your son, I presume." Olsive said. Hatden stepped forward and greeted him. "Hello, your highness. Yes, I am the crown prince of Ablience Kingdom. My name is Ryland Zachary Hadryc." "Ah, a fine young men. I like it. Well then, Zephryn, come and greet your future husband. " a lady then came forward and greeted them. "Hello, your highnesses, I am Zephryn Celva Hofreign, lrincess of the Crowessein Kingdom. " She stood calmly and elegantly. They were both surprised but they manage to hide it and keep their expression calm and steady. "Well then, let's head in, shall we ?" Hayden proposed "We shall" Olsive replied. Ryland offered his arm and Zephryn took it.

They walked into the çastle and head towards the "Red Ocean Garden". The garden is full of red roses. The queen of Ablience's favorite flowers.

While heading there, Zephryn stayed silent the whole journey. "Do not meddle with my business if you are to marry me. I dont give second chances. To me, a lie is a lie, whether its for the good or bad. Understood ?" Ryland clarifies. Zephryn simply nod and said "If you break your words and promises, I wont trust you either." "Good. And dont try to hide anything from me." "The same goes for you." "Great. Its a vow." They sealed the deal.

Not long after their discussion, they arived at the garden. Maids and servants came and served rose tea, olong tea, jasmine tea, and green tea. Snacks were served as well. "Well then let's get to business" Hayden said "The wedding will be held in a week. Preparations are in progress and events were planned perfectly." Olsive clarified.

"Great, now all we need is just the contract for the treaty."
