POV - Olivia

Today was such a long day I said to myself while picking up the dinner from the cafe just beside my office I really love their pizza and when I say I love it I mean am obsessed with it literally I can eat it all day and never get bored of it while I was waiting for my order to get ready Lisa came up to me with a big grin on her face by the way Lisa was the cafe owner and also my bestie so she had that big grin on her face which automatically gave me the vibe that screamed - I DID SOMETHING as soon as she pulled the chair in front of me , I said spill the tea . Chill out girl time ain't running away said Lisa I waited patiently while she ordered 2 red velvet cupcakes again one of my favourite. while I shoved my face into the cup cake she started talking .

Lisa - ok so you remember I was talking about this guy who always visit the shop at 10 am sharp and will always order a Espresso and a breakfast sandwich ?

Me - yeah what about him ( cleaning up the frosting up from my nose )

Lisa - soooo...I kinda approached him today

Me - me in disbelief ....no u didn't what then ...spill spill!!!

Lisa - we have a date this Sunday at 7pm

Me - ~squealing~ GO GET IT GIRl !!

After couple of minutes more my order was ready and i got up from my seat when Lisa said Olivia you gotta help me with the shopping for Sunday alright? I smiled at her and said i got you girl. after that i returned to my car and while I was getting into the car I felt a little strange like if someone is starting at me but it was too dark to check so I decided not to go and check because am not that stupid girl in all of those horror movies who follow all those strange noises and get killed so yeah that ain't the option so I simply decided to just get into my car and leave the place . while driving back I decided to turn on the radio to keep me entertained because I was getting sleepy so I turned on the radio and there were some random podcast was playing and to be honest I wasn't paying much of a attention to that because I was in a memory lane. I was thinking about how my life has changed after that incident and how I survived all those days while thinking all these my eyes became moist and quickly I shook off all the thaughts from my head and fixed my gaze up on the road and suddenly I saw a tall man standing in the middle of the road I was honking at him but he didn't moved at all so I tried to turn my car to the extreme right side but there was a tree which I didn't noticed and my car crashed and I hit my head in the dashboard. I tried to move but I couldn't because of the air bags and slowly everything started to fade away and I sunk into the blackness .

Author's note - so hello everyone ❤️ am quite new here and this is my first ever novel hope you guys like it and appreciate a little bit so I can write more and yeah am here to take any kind of suggestions and also let me know if there are any mistakes in this chapter. POV - Lisa

I saw olivia laying in the hospital bed. she was very pale. I was just about to go to the bed when I recieved a call form the local police station they told me that Olivia met an accident and was unconscious. Turns out I was the last person on her call log so they informed me. I was really mortified like how was that even possible?? she just visited my cafe and now she is in the hospital. without any delay I got up from the bed and drive to the hospital still in my PJs. I had to do some paperwork's because I was the only person for her . Her parents had already passed away a long ago. so she has me as a family. After doing all the paper work I had a talk with the doctor about her condition.turns out wasn't very critical but she did have a concussion and few scratches here and there, I was somewhat relieved hearing this. I asked them whether I can visit her now or not. The nurses let me visit her but they only allowed me for 10 min.It wasn't much but I was really happy to see her. And now am sitting beside her holding her hand and hoping that she would wake up any minute but damn! that really didn't happened she was there laying unconscious her hand were really cold and there was an IV attached to her wrist I am not used to look at her like this . she is always so beautiful and her cheeks would be all Rosy and she would always have that big welcoming smile on her face.Thinking all this made me cry but I gathered my self.After about 10 minutes the nurse told me to leave and said that I can visit her in the visiting hours which was 10 in the morning . I really didn't wanted to leave her but I had to.

POV- Olivia

It was a dark alley and I was walking down the road but seems like it wasn't ending the more I went in, the more darker it get I tried to look back but it was pitch black suddenly I felt someone grabbed my wrist and put some sort of cloth on my mouth I was gasping for air but none was reaching my lungs I was kicking whoever was holding me but it didn't budged at all. The more I struggled the more harder it became the moment I thought I am going to die I felt someone shaking me up and I woke up from my dream. It was just a bad dream, mam said the nurse. But why did this felt so real? I thought to myself. My forehead was all covered in cold sweat and I was unable to speak for few minutes then I calmed myself down a little. Then only I realised I was in the hospital and my head was hurting like a B***h memories of last night was coming to me piece by piece.I was in my deep thoughts when I heard a knocking, I looked up and saw Lisa. Not gonna lie I never ever thought I would be this happy after seeing her. she was carrying a goodie basket with her which was filled with dark chocolates and some fruits she sat beside me and hugged me tightly.she hugged me as if her life depended on it, you are killing me lisa i said to her. UGH! you are such a bummer she said. I was unable to control my laughter after having this kind of reaction from her but I was glad that she was here with me. After calming her down a little she started asking me about the accident but I wasn't sure if she would ever believe me if I told her what had actually happened so I just shrugged it off and told her that I am way too much hungry and can't eat the hospital food because it was really bad. luckily she always knew this is gonna happen so she bought some home made chicken soup and couple of doughnuts from her cafe . The food was delicious and Lisa is a great cook. After done eating she told me that she have to get going but she will visit me in lunch time. I gave a node to her and said thanks to her she, jokingly punched me in my arms and said it's not a big deal as your my bestie saying this the left i felt alone but I was really glad that I do have someone who cares about me and my wellbeing after, mom and dad passed away I was all alone and never felt the love I actually needed they left me when I needed them the most. The days were dark the nights were cold all I ever wanted is to have some warmth of being loved and being taken care of but I guess not everyone gets a world that have all the colours some people have only black and white in there's. But that's ok i have Lisa now by my side and she is enough I said to myself. While thinking all this my mind drifted to the last night's incident. who was that man? what had happened? before I drifted into the darkness i did saw him slowly approaching me. Did he saved me ? No he didn't or else I would have some information regarding this all mysterious man but according to the hospital police patrolling car found me laying unconscious in my car, then who the heck was that man?? and what did he wanted from me.Thinking all of this a chill ran down my spine. suddenly I don't know from where, I wasn't felling alone I felt someone's presence but not in a good way.I don't know maybe this is all my mind playing tricks on me because of the mysterious man I saw the other night or not I don't know. As I was deep into my thoughts someone tapped me on my shoulders I freaked out but it was the nurse she was here to give me my medicine. after that I was suggested to take a little nap and not gonna lie I was really tired as well. But the thought of the creepy man never left my mind and made it way too much hard for me to fall asleep thankfully the medicine started to kick in and I fell asleep.
