Chapter 1

**Jungkook's pov**

Yugyeom

Kookie, you need to wake up. It's your first day of classes. If I wasn't your brother, I wouldn't even bother. Now get your as$ out of bed!

Yugyeom tries to shake his brother's shoulders but Kook just groans and puts his head under the blanket.

Yugyeom slams the door and loudly starts to yell at mom about how much of a lazy *** Kook as he just roll my eyes.

Kook reluctantly gets out of bed and looks around the room.

Jungkook

(Why should I care so much about the first day of school?)

Jungkook

(It's just college...)

To begin with, Kook only joined college because his dad was in the hospital and they can't afford the medical bills. So his mom wanted him to get a degree so he could have better chances in getting a higher paying job.

The only issue is that his entire family knows he's lousy when it comes to school.

He has never been able to get good grades and has probably never gotten full marks on a test either.

Jungkook

*sighs*

Jungkook

(I stand up and move towards the closet to find my uniform.)

Jungkook

(Putting it on at the slowest speed I possibly could, I grab my bag and head downstairs.)

Jungkook

This is going to be such a crappy day. *mutters*

Jungkook

(On top of not being good at school, people also hate me.)

Jungkook

(If I am not my brother then somehow I automatically become a target of silent treatment.)

Jungkook

(Don't get me wrong, my brother drives me nuts but he's the only person I trust my life with.)

Once Kook reaches downstairs, Yugyeom starts to laugh at his face and hands him a bagel.

Yugyeom

I know you're not looking forward to today but I looked at your schedule and you have Mr. Kim's class.

Yugyeom

I also had him last year . He's a pretty nice guy.

Yugyeom

So I think if you asked him, he would be down to tutor you after classes.

Yugyeom starts to walk towards the door but suddenly turns around and starts to laugh.

Yugyeom

Oh and one more thing. Don't actually call him Mr. Kim, he hates that. Just call him Taehyung and you'll be good.

Yugyeom

See you at lunch little bro. Don't get into any trouble.

He turns around and walks out of the door.

Jungkook

(I glance at my mom while pointing at the door and just roll my eyes.)

Jungkook

Is he being serious?

Jungkook

I want to punch him every time words come out of his mouth.

Mom

You know you love your brother. Now get going. I don't want you to be late.

She comes over to him and pats his head.

Jungkook

Yea yea. See you later mom.

Jungkook

I'll try my best to get a tutor so don't worry too much about, okay?

Jungkook

(I walk out and close the door behind me without listening to her response.)

Jungkook gets in his car and throws his backpack into the passenger seat.

Jungkook

(I really don't want to go but I guess it's important so I'll stick with it.)

<<20 minutes later>>

Pulling into the parking spot, Jungkook stares at the University and gets out of his car with his backpack slung over his shoulder.

In no time, he had made it to his building and started to search for his first class.

Thankfully I only have three classes today.

The first two classes flew by and Kook had started to make his way to his third class.

Jungkook

It's finally the last class!

Jungkook

Oh it's the one Gyeom told me about.

Jungkook

Mr. Kim, I think he said.

He turns the corner and walks into the room. The first thing he did was look around but didn't see a teacher anywhere, so he headed towards the back and sat down.

Jungkook

(As I'm going through my backpack, I hear someone close the classroom door and then starts to write on the chalk board.)

Jungkook

(I could feel my breath get stuck as I glance up at the board and pause.)

Jungkook

(Damn...)

Jungkook

(That guy is really handsome...)

Taehyung puts his chalk down and starts to speak.

Taehyung

Good afternoon everyone, my name is Mr. Kim but you guys can just call me Taehyung. I am not a big fan of formalities.

Taehyung

As for this class, the first thing I would like you guys to do is find a desk partner and share who you are and where you're from. For those of you that don't like speaking to others, you can write down a little memo and bring it to my desk. That way at least I will know who you are.

He looks back at his computer and sits down in his desk as everyone gets up and starts to chat with each other.

Jungkook

(Fantastic...)

Jungkook

(I hate talking to strangers.)

Jungkook

(People aren't very nice nowadays.)

Jungkook

(Instead of talking to others, I decided to take his second suggestion. I took out a piece of paper, pencil and wrote down a little note.)

*Hi, my name is Kim Jungkook. I don't really like speaking to others and I currently really need a tutor. I was wondering if you could help me after school at least until the school year ends. I really need your help. I promised my mom that I would find a tutor by the end of the day and you're my only option. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.*

Jungkook

(Feeling kind of nervous, I slowly stand up and head toward his desk with my note and set it down.)

Jungkook

(Before he could look up or respond, I quickly walk back to my seat and sit down with my head in my arms as the other students continue to chat.)

As the class continued, Taehyung had everyone quiet down and started on his lesson about history.

Jungkook

(the class was pretty boring but he was trying his best to entertain us so I give him that.)

Jungkook

(He had the most calm looking smile ever.)

Jungkook

(I don't think I'll hate school as much as I thought I would.)

Jungkook

(But I promise I'm not gay.)
