A funeral was held. Maxime felt extremely guilty but still attended. He saw Aaron’s mother who was faking her tears, hiding a vicious smirk behind her handkerchief.
Maxime felt his blood boiling, but kept quiet
Once the funeral was done, Maxime went to Aaron’s house and found a small box under his friend’s bed
In it was Aaron’s will to leave everything to him, Maxime Brown

With the money, Maxime could finally get the service necessary to investigate Aaron’s mother and had her arrested. He also found out that Aaron was emotionally, mentally and verbally abused by his mother, which made his blood boil.
A few year after Aaron’s death, Maxime got married and had a kid he named after his brother. No one found out how Aaron died for Maxime brought the secret to his grave, and buried it with Aaron. He never forgot how much Aaron did for him, and even though he was forgiven, he lived with the guilt of having killed his pure hearted friend for the rest of his life.
