"Our breakfast is ready, baby."

"Mommy! I'm not a child anymore for you to call me baby, I'm a young woman." He frowned, which is why I suddenly laughed.

"Okay fine," my mother said softly.

I'm now a young woman but I feel like I'm not getting old because of how my parents treat me. They love me so much, to the point that they give me everything I want. Well, the truth is, they provide everything I need and want. It's just not enough for them to give me what I'm going to eat. That's why I love my parents so much. I am very lucky with them.

"Let's eat...Call your Daddy so we can eat," Mommy ordered me and I immediately obeyed. Before I could finally go upstairs where Dad's room was, suddenly there was a sound that sounded like something had broken above. That's why I didn't slow down in action and suddenly I ran because of nervousness and inexplicable feelings. My mother also hurried to follow me as if she too was worried. My heart suddenly throbbed because of what I now see in front of me. It's like my heart is being torn apart.

"D-dad!" I tried to shake his blinded body on the floor, my tears didn't stop flowing.

"L-lester! P-please wake up...Don't leave us and your daughter, we need you." Dad is gone, he left us. I understand why he left us because he had a heart disease, but for me it was too painful and too hard to accept. He didn't even say goodbye to my mother properly.

"You didn't even hug me tight D-dad before you left Mommy and me. You didn't even talk to us properly before you rested. You said you would fight, but why did you give up?" I tightly hugged my lifeless father who was now in front of me and my mother. It feels so heavy, it's hard to lose someone important in your life.

My mother was just rubbing my back while she was crying non-stop. I kept hugging my dad and kept crying.

"It's painful to say good bye to someone you don't want to let go, but I know your Dad is now in a good place." My mother tried to calm me down but could not relieve the pain I was feeling now. My heart is heavy, It's kind of a bit pain in the neck that I can't even choke.

A few minutes ago, my father's body was taken to the morgue. When I got up from my seat, a small box on top of Dad's bed caught my attention. I slowly stepped closer to it while my whole body was shaking. I took the small box and hesitantly opened it. The layers of paper inside were exposed, I took one and unfolded it. My tears started to fall because what I read was like thousands of knives stabbing my heart.

"I know it can be readthese letters are yours, but this time I am no longer alive. I tried to fight and not give up because I didn't want to leave you either, but I was tired and struggling. My pain is getting worse and I can't bear it anymore. Avianna... Baby, don't neglect your Mommy. okay? I love you both so much. Don't worry, because even if you can't be with me like before, I'll be here and guiding you. I will always guide you. Sorry and goodbye my dear Princesses."

The tears flowed even more. I left the letters on top, I didn't plan to read them all because my feelings were too heavy. I went to my room to get my car keys, that car was my father gave me on my birthday. I got down and went straight out, I didn't even pay attention to Mom. She was talking to me but I couldn't understand what she was saying because maybe I wasn't myself. I started and ran my car. It depends on where I end up.

"Dad! P-please c-come back..." I shouted. I came to a place where no one was. I want to release all the pain I've been harboring. "T-that's your trick. I thought there was no one to leave behind? B-why did you leave Mommy and me?" My voice was almost hoarse but I continued to shout as if the person I was talking to was far away.

I sat down and bowed. I know my eyes are puffy but I continue to cry. It's like endless tears. I remember the happy memories of the three of us, times when Daddy never left us. I miss him so much. I want to hug him tightly.

"Dad, I know you're watching me. It's hard to say goodbye but I need to accept that you're gone, you're now in a good place. You will be missed. Until I see you again my loving Father, I love you infinity and beyond..." These were the last words I uttered before I stood up and was about to leave, but before I could stand up, someone handed me a handkerchief to wipe me off unexpectedly. I felt a little surprised but I didn't show it. I slowly raised my eyes to the person who handed this object.

Farrel's Pov.

"Before I met you, I never knew what it was like to be able to look at someone and smile for no reason." She smiled at what I said. I love my girlfriend and there's not a single day that goes past where I don't think about her.

"Joker. But, you know what? You also made me the happiest person in the whole planet, just being in your presence. I just feel so lucky, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me."

Our marriage is planned, we both have finished our studies. Our family is also okay, they support the relationship we have.

"When I tell you 'I love you' I am not saying it out of habit, I'm reminding you that you are my life. I love you Ms. Avianna Lara Zeus, my future wife." She smiled at what I said.

"I love you more than you love me, Mr. Xadrian Leo Gualvez. I hope nothing changes. I hope we'll always be happy, if there's a problem, I hope we'll deal with it together." I can feel the seriousness of her voice. That's why I'm lucky to have a girlfriend like her. She's simple but she has everything I want.

"I love you so much, future wife."

"Let's eat," she said.

She is used to being the one who cooks, even if I tell her not to cook anymore because we have helpers who can do what she does, but she says that she prefers to be the one who cooks for us to eat.

"Taste good, I love how you cook dear." She's a good cooker. Besides being beautiful and smart, she is also kind and caring. If she says she's lucky to have me, as far as I know, I'm luckier that she became my girlfriend and will be my wife as well.

While we were eating, my cellphone vibrated causing me to stop eating. My girlfriend looked at me slightly so I put down the cellphone I was holding.

"Why?" It's a simple question for me.

"Xadrian invited me to the party," I said.

"What kind of party is that?" Well, yes, it won't stop until she knows everything. Add to that, that she is a bit naughty.

"It's their baby's 1st birthday, do you want to come and join?" I asked her, because she doesn't like parties and she doesn't go out much.

"No, thanks. You can join them but make sure that you will take care of yourself."

Nothing faded, my future wife is still very sweet. I just smiled because of what she said. I stood up and approached her to kiss her on her forehead, then I hugged her tightly and she did the same. I returned to my seat and finished my meal.

"I'm going to get dressed, if you need anything, just call our maids here. Don't make yourself tired, okay? I don't want my future wife to sweat," I told her.

"You're very caring, I can't rely on our maids for everything. I also want to help with the chores at home," she disobeyed me. I'm really lucky with the girl I chose. I took a deep breath before speaking again.

"But that's what I want, that you don't get tired. That's why I hired maids so you don't have to do what they do." She was silent for a moment and slowly nodded.

"Okay. Go ahead, get dressed." I just smiled at her before I went into the bathroom to take a shower. She gives me so much hope for a future that I've only dreamed of and it's crazy because no one else has evermade me feel that way. I feel like there's something that we already have that other people don't.

Only an hour passed and I was here at the party venue. Well, there were more people here than I expected.

"Hey bro, Farrel. Why didn't you bring your girlfriend?"

"You know she don't like events like this," I answered and laughed a little.

"If anything... But you came late hehe," he said to me.

"Sorry bro, there's a bit of traffic. Anyway, where is your baby?"

"Hmm... It's inside, come on." He put his arm around me and we walked together towards the inside of their house. He's matured now, like never before. He also has his own family, when we were still in high school, he was like a child if you looked at him, because he was also in a panic back then. In fact, there is still confusion until now.

"Let's cheer." Xadrian handed me a glass of wine, I would have refused if he had spoken before me.

"Just now, don't refuse. We'll forget you if you don't drink now," he said. I thought about my girlfriend, she might be angry if I came home drunk. But she knows I'm going to a party, so for sure she also knows I'll drink.

I took what he handed over and drank it without a second thought. After I finished a glass, he gave me another one, after I finished again, he put another one. While we were drinking, a girl sat next to me but I didn't waste time, I just continued to drink until I felt a bit old.

"Bro, can you still what to drink? You're already drunk. Come on, I'll take you to the room first so you can rest." I knew it was Xadrian speaking but I just shook my head.

"Are you sure you're here?" Repeating this.

"Y-yes," I answered weakly.

"Alright, just call me when you need something." That was the last thing he said that I heard. I stood up to hopefully head to the cr, but someone grabbed my arm and pulled me into a dark room. I couldn't relax because I was already drunk and I didn't know much about what was happening around me.
