Chapter 1 Love at first sight

Summer has just started, so is Stella's summer vacation. She had two months of vacation, and she is planning to spend it at her aunt's house. She hasn't seen her aunt ever since they moved to another city four years ago. Stella was sitting in the car while her dad was driving.

Therefore, she decided to ask him "dad, how long until we arrived at aunt Emily's house?".

"Her house is really far away and it will take us four hours to get there," her dad responded.

Stella just sat in the car and watched the scenery along the way. While she was admiring the scenery, she reminisced about the memories she made with her aunt.

When she was little whenever her parents would go out to work. She would often be left alone at home since her parents were often out due to their work. Her parents were worried about her that something bad will happen to her when she is left alone at home. Therefore, her parents would let her aunt babysit her. Her parents would drop her off at her aunt's house while on their way to work. Whenever she was at her aunt's house, her cousin Justin would play with her, while her aunt would bake them pastries.

After a while Stella fell asleep, and her father looked at her in the rearview mirror. Seeing Stella sleeping her father just continued driving. Stella fell asleep due to her lack of sleep last night since she was too excited to fall asleep immediately.

After four hours of traveling, they finally arrived at her aunt's house. However, Stella was still asleep, therefore, her father had to wake her up.

He got out of the car, and he gently shook Stella in order to wake her up. When Stella opened her eyes, she realized that they had already arrived at her aunt's house.

Justin opened the door in addition he invited them to go inside their house. He led them to the living room where they talked. All of them sat on the couch, and Justin greeted them.

"Uncle Fredrick, Stella, welcome. I'm glad you could come here, and I'm glad Stella will spend her vacation here. It's been a long time since we last met, how have u been all these years Stella?"Justin said.

"I'm fine, how about you? It has been four years since we last met each other and I really miss you a lot," Stella responded.

"Yeah I miss u too we were really close when we were young," Justin said.

 "We were, oh, by the way Justin… Where is aunt Emily?"Stella asked.

"Actually mom wanted to surprise you by making your favorite pastries. Right now she is busy in the kitchen making it. She told me when you arrived I should let you in while she is busy baking sweets" Justin said.

After that her aunt came out of the kitchen while holding a tray full of pastries she made. She put down the tray on the table and then she sat on the couch along with them.

"Stella, brother and Justin have some pastries," her aunt said as she pointed her hand at the pastries.

 They took one piece of the pastries and took a bite. They were amazed by the heavenly taste of the pastries she made. Most importantly Stella, in addition they started complimenting her.

"Mom, these are so delicious and I'm blessed to have a mom who can make pastries as delicious as this," Justin said with his mouth full of pastries.

"Justin, you shouldn't talk with your mouth full," her aunt said to Justin angrily.

Justin swallowed the food in his mouth and said with a nervous laugh "alright mom."

"What Justin said is true Emily until now your pastries are still delicious like always," her dad said.

Stella nodded in agreement and said with no objection "Yeah aunty dad, and Justin is right. Your pastries are the most delicious pastries I have ever tasted. However aunty… you should not have troubled yourself by making these."

"I want to let you eat my pastries again… since it has been four years since you last ate them. Back then you kept telling them that you loved eating my pastries. In addition I just wanted to make u remember our memories together… " her aunt said with a smile on her face.

 The conversation was interrupted because someone was knocking at the door.

"Who could it be?" her aunt asked."It's my best friend mom," Justin responded.

"oh, let him in, so he could try the pastries I have made," Emily said.

Stella wondered who it was…

Then Justin stood up and opened the door to see a boy who was standing at the door. He was tall and had silky brown hair. He had beautiful hazel eyes with long silky eyelashes. With his hair that highlights his handsome face, you could say that he looked like an angel.

Stella was fascinated by his looks since she hasn't had anyone as handsome as him before, since she only saw handsome men in TV, comics and anime.

In addition he was somehow the same age as Justin. Justin invited him to go inside and try his mom's pastries. After that he went inside and Justin made him sit beside Stella since there was an empty seat beside her.

Justin said as he pointed his hand at Kent "Stella I want u to meet my best friend."

"Nice to meet you Kent, by the way I'm Stella Justin's cousin," Stella responded.

"Justin told me about u, u two were close when u were young," Kent responded.

As Kent was looking at Stella, he felt a strange feeling when he was looking at her, a feeling that he hadn't felt before. Kent had already fallen in love with her at first sight without him realizing.
