Ace Ravewood.
It was rainy hard. It's probably one of those days that it feels like the end of the world might come in any second.
The rain drops were heavy, hammering on the roofs in an unrhymed manner, while creating a pang that shook the heart and peirce through one muscles a weeks the ripping cold spread through out ones limbs.
It was hard to think. But clearing my head was harder.
Worst my legs were staring to hurt badly as I stood in the middle of nowhere theoretically stranded.
I could feel it. That familiar feeling of helplessness.
After all these years of scheming and acquiring power and riches it still didn't go away.
It's still just like back then. Am I any different from that kid from then?
A warmth spread on the base is my shoulder, pulling my head from those depressing thoughts.
Narrowing my eyes, I look down on the petite figure standing in front of me.
One hand grasping on an umbrella and a small polythene bag, and the other hovering on my shoulder. Eyes wide with curiosity with her lips pursed in a thin line.
She can't be a paparazzi. Can she?
I really don't have the strength to handle those fuckers at the moment.
Seeing she now had my attention, she withdraw her hand. A sheepish smile spreading across her fair face. "Hey puppy—"
Puppy? I raised a brow and she gave a light guity cough.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to say that?"
"What do you want?" I ask curtly. My voice a little hoarse from the cold.
"You——you must have come from the hospital. I mean you are in a patient's uniform and all. Sorry I really don't mean to be nosy at all, but I just couldn't ignore it. You have a bandage around your head and seeing how lost you look you must had gotten into an accident and had a memory lost. Surely the hospital would definitely not have discharged you, I mean not in such a weather so you must have ran away." She said in one breath. Adding a little after. "I don't know for what reason, but you can stay the night with me if you want. I have plenty of rooms in my house."
Run away. Memory lose. Is she for real?
"You can ready assured. Am not a pervert or stalker in any kind." She laughed cheerily. Managing to dull out the sound of the rain. "I definitely won't try to take advantage of you so you don't have to worry."
Shouldn't you be more afraid that I'd take advantage of you?
She is literally a five foot seven.
Definitely not my match.
"Then I will take your silence as a yes."
What?
Her slim hands which were suprisgnly very strong, seized mine before I could react. Dragging me as she strolled into the house behind us.
With a frown I try to pull my hand from her hold only for her to glance back. Her Bushy brow pushing up questionly, then slowly falling in line with a gentle smile.
"Relax." And like magic I felt all the tense muscles in my body loosen.
How?
Who is this person? My fairy godmother?

I don't know how long I have watching him. Swaying softly with the cold breeze and almost blending with the dark surroundings as he stared at nothing in particular.
It was hard to see his face from where I was standing but it wasn't hard to guess how handsome he would look from the shape of his beautiful jaw line. Ticking every now and then.
With a white bandage around his head, and a white and blue check uniform sticking to his form.
He looked cold. Desolate as he stood all alone. Giving off an unapproachable vibe like he won't mind snapping any intruder into two with his teeth.
Just like a puppy. A very cute puppy.
I should probably get going and stop acting like a love stuck idiot. I mean I do already have a loving boyfriend, but something about him just keeps pulling on my heart string's.
Feed the poor.
Help the less privileged.
The monks says.
Although looks can be deceiving, something tells me that he isn't a bad person.
I won't probably get a good night sleep if I go against my conscience so it's better to just get it over with.
I walk over to him, waiting for him to notice me which was futile as he stared past me like I was invisible.
He can't be blind? Can he?
"Hey." I waved five fingers in front of his face but got no reply.
"Puppy." I tap on his arm, adding a little force the second time.
I was planning on a third when he finally snapped awake. Eyes dropping on me.
Beautiful.
I took back my hand which was akwardly hanging on the air. Giving a soft smile. "Hey puppy—"
He pops a brow and almost right away I received the prompt.
Shit!
"Sorry. I didn't mean to say that." Out loud.
He must probably feel I am a freak now if he hadn't earlier.
"What do you want?" Although I did expect his voice to be out of the ordinary. It's magnetic. Managing to draw you and repel you at the same time.
Meeting his inquisive and suspicious eyes I remembered I was asked a question.
So I stated my reason.
From the looks alone I can tell he ran away from the private hospital near the street.
Although there is a 50% chance he had amnesia from the bandage around his head, there is no crime in helping someone in need.
Besides fate brought him to me. "You can ready assured. Am not a pervert or stalker in any kind"
Further clarifying. "I definitely won't try to take advantage of you so you don't have to worry."
His eyes wavered a little. Dropping to the ground, while looking like a puppy about to pur.
Cute.
If he wasn't so big I really won't mind adopting him as a son.
He definitely is too shy to say yes. I should probably make the first move. "Then I will take your silence as a yes."
Linking my free arm with his, he resisted as I lead him into the house.
Probably unsure.
Hah.....I really can't fathom what put him in such a situation as this. "Relax." Okay?
As if heeding my advice. He stopped struggling.
Such a good puppy.
I let him sit on the sofa as I ran upstairs to find something for him to wear. And after some minutes of searching, I dig out a big pair of pyjamas that belongs to who know who.
Don't even ask me how it got into my closet.
Rushing back down, I dump the clothes into his arms. Hollering as I make a run for the kitchen."Chose any room and change. Dinner will be ready in a minute."
Quickly boiling a cup of tea with some slice of bam and bread I set the dinning table.
Walking to the living room, he wasn't there.
Should I call for him?
How should I call for him?
Puppy?
Shit I didn't ask for his name, neither did I gave him mine.
I should just go look for him.
I have a total of four rooms. With one occupied by me, there are three free once. But even after knocking all three I still couldn't find him.
Funny all the doors were locked.
Maybe he had locked the door from inside.
Then why isn't he answering my calls?
It couldn't be that something bad happened to him.
Or he is probably still changing?
Damn it. I should take a look.
Fetching the master key, I open the first room which was empty.
But in the second room there was a figure lying the bed.
Face red and dripping with hot sweat.
Shit. He has a high fever.
