Naina a 30 year old woman along with her husband Mathew and a 5 year old daughter Sara came to visit Naina's parents in Delhi, India. Naina and Mathew first met when Naina was sent abroad for her further studies. Mathew was a senior and they fell in love with each other as soon as their eyes met. After completing her graduation she tied knots with Mathew with her family's approval;

it had been 6 years since she last saw her parents and sister and her family also wanted to meet their grandchild.

There was not much to know about Mathew's family as he lost them when he was just 15 yrs old and then he was sent to an orphanage. Being a brilliant student he was provided with a scholarship in the Harward University.He had been in India before as Naina and Mathew got married there.

Sarah being a 5 year old was quite different from other kids her age . She was as brilliant as her father and as kind as her mother. On one hand kids used to play with dolls and on the other hand she used to play chess like a professional player. Sarah was excited to meet her grandparents and aunt for the first time. She had heard stories about India and it was a fairyland for her.

"Matt have u packed the gifts that we got for muma , papa and cherry?" Naina asked

"yes, I have, and did u carry an extra bag as I want to get lots of stuff from India. Last time we couldn't as we had other stuff to carry." Mathew said.

" I didn't pack an extra bag..we will get it from India itself and sure you can get whatever you want this time and First wake Sarah up and tell her to get ready...we are getting late." Naina said.

"Mum. I am ready...see I made my hair ,took a bath ,packed my purse and wore my clothes."

Sarah said.

"Daddy's sunshine is ready all by herself! So as a reward I will give u a piggyback ride as soon as we get India and you can get everything u want." Mathew said

" My girl is getting big...aww let momy give u a kissi..(kisses Sarah on her cheeks) .Let's leave now we have a flight in 2 hours." Naina said

After some time they left for the airport and took their flight.

It was a freaking 9 hour long flight , they were hella tired but as soon as they placed foot in India Mathew and sarah danced like they were in heaven

Naina smiled after seeing them...

she called her parents to tell them that they reached safely .

Her parents insisted that it was night and they would send someone to pick them up from the airport but she refused as it would take the driver 3 hours to reach the airport so they would rather book a taxi to their home .

She booked a taxi which came after 15 minutes and they all hopped in.

Mathew got seated in the seat next to the driver while Sarah and Naina took the backseat and the driver kept their luggage in the Dickey.Soon they left the airport.They were so tired that they slept in the car.

This happy family didn't know what was ahead of them. hardly half an hour went by when the driver screamed brakes weren't working which made Naina and Mathew akwake and they panicked .

There was nothing but just fog in front of them

And suddenly the car flipped upside down as if it got hit by something hard and there was blood everywhere. She couldn't keep her eyes open but all she saw was her daughter's lifeless body laying next to her. Her eyes were about to close when she heard a car horn and some voices but what made her shake was a figure just like her husband's taking her daughter away in his arms..

She closed her eyes and a drop of tear escaped from them.

Naina was rushed back to the nearest hospital where her treatment was being carried out.She was admitted in the trauma unit of the hospital as she had several fractures and deep wounds; she had lost a lot of blood. Soon Naina's parents were informed and they reached the hospital immediately. It broke their heart to see their daughter in such a critical state. After sometime a police report was filed by Naina's parents in which they reported 2 missing bodies. Everyone thought that the car must have been hit so hard that bodies would have been thrown out.

So, a police team and a forensic team were sent to the place where the accident occurred. Days and hours went by but there was no sign of the bodies...Naina's condition was also not getting improved.She hadn't regained her consciousness. Police were waiting for her to regain her consciousness so that they would exactly know what happened during the accident.

The police also had pressure as the case had reached the national media. Reporters used to question them about the progress the case had made so far, but the police had no clue as Naina hadn't woken up and it had been about a month.

One day when the nurse was giving saline to Naina, she observed her move a little bit. She informed the doctor and he ran some tests on her, after a few hours Naina opened her eyes .As soon as this news reached the police , they reached the hospital to interrogate her.

The inspector who was handling this case was Inspector Dayanand Swami. As the previous inspector failed to submit the report of this case to higher officials, the case was taken away from him and given to the new Inspector. He had been in this field for 25 years and was very well known. He was a middle aged man, around 51 years who had solved almost every case that he had been handed.

The doctor told Inspector Dayanand that Naina was not in a good condition to answer all their questions. Naina got to know that police want to interrogate her but it was told that Doctors sent them away by saying that she was not in a good condition.

"Can you please tell the Inspector that I am ready for the interrogation. There is something important that they should know." Naina said to the nurse.

The nurse agreed and passed the message to the inspector who was having a conversation with the doctor at that time .

The Inspector told the doctor " If Naina is ready for the interrogation then I guess she should be interrogated as soon as possible".

"Yes, sure sir." The doctor replied.

(The inspector and Doctor both enter the room in which Naina was admitted)

"Hi Naina, I am really happy to see you finally awake. If you are ready, must we proceed with the questions?

Sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I am Inspector Dayanand Swami. " The inspector asked Naina.

"Yes Inspector ,I am ready." Naina answered .

.......

" So before we start our conversation, I want you to take a deep breath and relax. This will calm your mind and you will be able to answer questions smoothly." Dayanand told Naina.

"I am relaxed and will answer all your questions without any hesitation. So please can we proceed." Naina replied.

"Ok, that's a great spirit. Well then our first question, why did you come to India in the first place?" Dayanand enquired.

"I used to live with my husband Mathew and daughter Sara in Canada. It had been around 6 years since I had seen my parents and I also wanted Sarah to explore India and meet her grandparents ,so Mathew and i decided to plan a trip to India. That's it." Naina replied.

"Okay,then we will go for our next question, what happened on the night of the accident? The driver is in a coma so you are our only hope now. We want to hear the truth." Inspector Dayanand said.

Thinking about the incident made her cry...

Dayanand offered Naina a glass of water with some tissues. He ordered everyone to leave the room and said " Naina, I know you have suffered a lot,but this is the only way for us to reach your husband and daughter. Please co-operate. So tell me how the accident occurred?"

Naina replied,"We were going towards our parents house in our cab. We didn't realise that we had fallen asleep, it must be because we were too tired. But then suddenly the driver screamed " Oh Rama, the brakes aren't working." His screams were so loud that we woke up from it. We were just comprehending what he said when suddenly it felt like the car got hit by something really hard. It tilted upside down and we got injured then......"

Naina stopped for a moment and then said something that Inspector thought was absurd.

"Then I saw my daughter's face ,covered with blood and I felt so helpless there that I wanted to cry. I wanted to save my daughter....but I couldn't..(tears fell from Naina's eyes).My eyes were almost closed but then I saw something that blew my mind off, a figure like my husband's carrying out daughter in his arms and walking as if the accident didn't affect him a little bit. He was walking like he had no injuries, he wasn't hurt, he took my daughter away with him and left.....Please bring my daughter back!(Naina pleaded with years in her eyes.) I want to see her for the last time...I want to give her a proper burial."

The inspector heard her statement and ordered a constable to write the statements down and decided to console Naina..."Naina, I know you have lost your husband and daughter but...this is not possible. It was impossible to survive such an accident, we even think you are surviving this accident is a miracle of God."

"I saw it with my own eyes; I think he is.....he is not a human."Naina replied with fear and sadness in her eyes.

"Not a human? Naina I think you should take a rest...the accident has affected you psychologically." Inspector said.

Dayanand called the doctors and told them to give her sleeping pills to relax.

But he couldn't take the fact that someone could survive such a colossal accident.
