"Master Hannelyne, the equipments you asked me to look for are now down stairs."

I just want to be alone that's why I order him to do things.I rolled my eyes, yes I know he's a robot but he literally does everything I told him to do so fast.

"Argh, can you leave me alone?! Even just for an hour!" I exclaimed.

He does everything I command him to do except--

"Master Hannelyne, Sir Hanz programmed me me to guard you around and told me to protect you even if it costs me my machine parts and even my life."

He always say that line every time I ask him to leave me. He does everything I ordered him to except to leave me alone.

"Then okay,put all the materials up here, safely." I ordered once again,emphasizing the word 'safely' trying if I can shoo him away.

He immediately went out.I sighed heavily as I look at our last family photo.

I was the only child.

My eyes heated up and my tears flowed freely to my cheeks, then I broke down.

" Mom, Dad, why did you leave me this soon. Now I'm all alone, I don't know what to do. I'm scared mommy and daddy." I whispered as I cried silently.

I hugged my self in the corner and cried all night. I didn't even notice if Haze is done with what I askedd him to do.

As soon as I was done with crying, I calmed my self down.

I looked around the room, looks like Haze was done. The tools and equipments I asked for are here.

I feel sleepy.

I lied on the ground and looked up. The silent night is making me to lonely

"I don't know what to do now mom and dad. Please help me." I whispered before I closed my eyes and drove of to sleep.

I was in the middle of sleeping when I felt a warm cloth that covered me and hard arms lift me up.

Haze?

I pretended to be asleep. I heard a door opened and then soon felt that the arms put me down the soft mattress.

I heard Haze's footsteps walking away and the creek of the door. But before the door closed, my heart beat raced and my cheeks feels hot as I heard what Haze said.

"You don't need to be alone Master Hannelyne, I indeed am a robot that cannot harbor feelings but I assure you that I am going to stand by your side forever until I am dismantled."

“Happy Birthday Hannelyne!“

It echoed again and again in my mind as I run fast not minding the sweat striming of my face. The adrenaline rush is flowing through out my body.

I'm supposed to rest because of all the cuts and injuries I have last night.You see, I still haven't slept since yesterday.

The only thing in my mind right now is to run away from the assassins tailing me. I'm hella scared.

It feels like it was just yesterday that my birthday occured. Oh wait, it was really yesterday.

It all happened so suddenly, so fast.

To cut the story short, I was celebrating my birthday yesterday, with my parents.They were always busy because my dad, Hanz Yu and my mom, Janine Yu were both a famous and top mechanics and robotics engineer.

Until it was the day before my birthday, they asked me if I have a request for my 18th birthday. Well I told them what my heart yearns for.

It was just a simple meal with them in our kitchen,the first and the last lunch I have with them.

After the lunch, they were called for an emergency meeting. I didn't mind because they gave me what I asked for.

They were out, I expected them to be back by tomorrow but then before I got to sleep I got a phone call saying that my mom and dad were foound dead in their car.

I was still shocked then but a part of the house suddenly exploded. I trembled as my room were filled with masked people.

My adrenaline kicked me to a pulp as I carried the last gift my father gave me on my birthday before they left the house. A big heavy box, I ran away with it up until now. I don't even know what's inside.

As I ran away from the men chasing me, they fired a gun at me and shot me twice. They were about to cut me but I dodged causing them to cut my hair.

I shook my head. Step out of it Jane, face the problem right now.

I ran and ran, I don't even know where I'm at now but I'm hella tired. I need to get away. The big box I'm carrying is sucking all the energy left in me.

My eyes spotted a hidden area making me ran towards it.

I looked at the box dad gave me, now I'm curious what thing is inside of it. It's heavy and all and I hope it can help me right now.

I hope.

But before I can open the box, a hand pulled my hair from behind pulling me away from the box making me tear up in pain.

"Oh you b×tch, I'm so tired of chasing you . It's time to end your life and finish this job." A man's voice said.

I don't know what his face looks like since he's wearing a mask.

"Let go of me!" I exclaimed loudly, I now know that he is a man and gave him a hard kick in the part where it hurts for him the most.

Ew.

He immediately let go of my hand and crunch down.

I ran towards the box and opened it fastly. As the box opened, my mouth fell wide open by seeing the thing inside the box.

A friggin'. Hot. Robot.

Oh my gosh, I was not awared that dad would give me a gift this handsome.

I slapped my face, really Jane? In the middle of a problem where assassins are trying to kill you?

I searched for the switch button, but as soon as I pressed the on button I heard a loud bang of a gun. I soon realized that the assassin got up and shot me on my waist.

"D×mn you b×tch! That's what you get from kicking my balls!"

I fell on the cold ground. The searing pain I feel from my waist was all I can think of until I heard a robotic voice.

"Good morning master Hannelyne, I am Haze, your personal robot guard. I will always protect you."

My eyes teared up as I heard what he said.

Dad,Mom. Save me.

I closed my eyes, I already reached my limit. I feel sleepy. Before I totally lost my consciousness I heard the robotic voice once again.

"Analyzing situation. Situation analized. Master is in trouble and is not able to do anything. Trouble level 5. Commence Kill to Protect her mode."

A familiar aseptic smell filled my nose trills as I gained my consciousness. It feels so cold.

As I open my eyes, the white ceiling welcomed my sight. I sat and leaned on the bed's headboard.

I looked around only to notice that the room I'm in is almost white and obviously a hospital's room.

I sighed heavily.

Wait.

The hospital?

How did I got here?

As far as I can remember, I was being chased by multiple assassins and was shot three numerous times. One at my shoulder, the other one is my left foot and lastly my waist that made me lose my consciousness.

I quickly turned my head on the part where I heard a suspicious beeping sound.

"Analyzing Situation. Situation analized."

A robot?

Let me rephrase that. A hot robot guy?

Hell.

It was staring at me deeply.

"Condition is in a stable state, she is now conscious. Commence run a test mode." He made a robotic sound and suddenly stopped.

"Are you alright master Hannelyne?" the robot asked me.

I'm freaking out, I wanna run away but every move I make I feel like my body is being cut in half.

I opened my mouth to say a word but all I can feel is my dry throat.

"W-wa-ter." I said stammering.

He immediately obeyed and within just seconds, it handed me a glass full of water.

I took the water from his hands and drunk immediately. As soon as I finished drinking, I handed him the cup.

"Are you now feeling a lot better master Hannelyne?" He tilted his head, still staring deeply at me.

I can't shut my mouth anymore, the questions in my head are giving me a headache.

"Who are you? What am I doing doing here? Wait, how did I get here? What happened? Why do you keep calling me your Master?Where are we?"

I panted hard after exclaiming every questions bothering me.

"Are you done now master?" He asked so I nodded in response.

"Do I have the permission to answer master?" He asked again.

I just nodded again. I think I'm tired again.

"Firstly, I am Haze, your personal robot guard and I was built by master Hanz to protect you. I was programed to stay by your side no matter what."

I blinked as I felt the side of my eyes sting.

Oh dad.

"One week ago y--" I butted in.

"What do you mean by a week ago?!" I shouted from the shock.

"Permission to answer." I quickly nodded.

"Yes, you were asleep for a week because of the serious injuries you have acquired during the incident."

My mouth was hanged open.

I slept. For. One. F×ck×ng. Week.

"Shall I continue?" He asked snapping me out from before I drown on my own thoughts.

"Yes, you may." I whispered as I touch my neck, my throat's dry again. I'm thirsty.

"You switched me on a while ago before you lost your consciousness, I believe that the assassins were chasing after you to kill you." He stopped.

I stared as he walked towards the water dispenser to get some water and walk right back near me to hand the water to me.

"I'm judging that you are thirsty Master for you were holding your throat." He said.

I took it from his hands and drink it.

"You have the consent to continue your explanation." I said immediately.

"And if I am asking you something , you don't need to ask for my consent because you already have." I added.

He nodded.

"You were unable to do something about it since you were unconscious and according to the manual sir Hanz put in my memory. I have the rights to act on my own to protect you. So I did."

So he saved me.

"I brought you to the nearest hospital to treat your wounds immediately. Don't worry about the bills for sir Hanz installed me and gave me my own money for emergencies. That is all." He said ending it.

I stared blankly at the wall in front of me while my brain is processing the informations handed by Haze. I returned my gaze to Haze as I wonder what happened to the assassins chasing after me.

" Haze." I called him.

" Yes master Hannelyne?"

"Just call me Hannelyne." I replied.

"Okay Hannelyne, is there anything you need to ask?" He questioned.

"What happened to the assassins chasing after me?" I asked as my hands trembled in fear.

I observed his every reaction as he held my hands and intertwined it with his.

"Pardon my actions Hannelyne but again, sir Hanz programed me to have a reaction for your every action." He explained and I nodded.

Just like Newtown's third law. Dad really knows me well.

"And for the question you asked me, please lower your voice miss Hannelyne for we are not sure if they are still following us. I will explain everything to you after you are discharged from this hospital. For now, please rest." He answered with a low voice and patted my head lightly.

" Okay then, please take care of me." I said as I felt tired.

I laid down on the bed and decided to rest. As I closed my eyes I felt his hands lightly caressing my hair until I fall asleep.

Let's just hope I can get out of here soon so I can go back and take care of everything.
