Minsan lang ako ma fall and to top that up sa tao pa na taken. I, sometimes, want to give up in love, sa lahat nga ba'ng nangyari sa akin who would want to continue but, no, I didn't because I still have that tiny weeny bit of hope that somehow, somewhere, someday I would find my destiny, my OTP. Who wouldn't want that diba? But little Cupid here still didn't shoot that special arrow. Wasting time on finding my “The One”.

It all started with a fine morning.

Today feels good, no cloud rains, sun still not fully risen yet, it just has this chill vibe going on. Kaya I decided to jog around the park with my dog.

*bogsh*

What the hell. Ano ba naman yan kahoy? Bato? Ang tigas kasi, and who's in their right mind na maglagay nang 'Whatever this is' sa gitna ng daan, akala ko pa naman na chill day ko ngayon.

I stumble a little but got a hold on my balance and has a clearer vision to what I bump into. I went silent because it wasn't a tree nor a rock. It was a gorgeous human being that I have ever seen. Not to brag, but I've seen a lot of hot men with rock hard body but not like this one who's in front of me, it looks like he just came out of a painting—so unrealistic.

I came to my senses when I realize I was staring at him for a good five minutes of admiring his well damn defined face. Not that I'm complaining, though.

Embarrassed at what I did, my whole face slowly began looking like a big tomato. Pinapahiya mo ang sarili mo selp, staph it. My inner thoughts said.

I am about to open my mouth to say sorry and blabber some nonsense when BHB—breathtaking human being, talk first (called him BHB, cause why not?).

“Are you okay? Did I somehow hurt you? Are you hurt somewhere?” BHB ask. Worry starting to show on his face.

I wanted to laugh at him because of how he look, but pinigilan ko, baka mapahiya ko pa lalo ang sarili ko.

“Hey, I'm alright. I'm not even hurt or anything,” I said, smiling at GH.

“Kasalanan ko din nanam. I sometimes walk aimlessly, so bumping at someone or something is a no surprise for me now,” I added to lessen the awkwardness.

He still had this uncertain look on his face, but decided to believe it. He smiled at me, showing his white, pearly teeth.

“Uhh… I'm Logan Sy by the way, and you must be Kai?” Pagpapakilala niya. Waiiiit, how did he know my name na di ko naman s'ya kilala? I ask myself.

“Yes?.. How did you know me?” Huhu stalker ko ba 'to or what? But at least gwapo diba? The little devil inside me said, not even worried.

“Ohhh yeah… must have sounded like a creep there. Sorry,” Logan chuckles, a hint of pink in his cheeks. Cute…

“I'm the one who's living next to you, so we are basically neighbors. Known you since I sometime saw you going to work, and somehow I heard somebody called you Kai,” Ohhh kaya pala… assuming ko minsan haha.

“Awh… Kadin de Asis, nice to finally meeting you pala neighbor,” I fully introduce myself to him.

Teka nga, parang… parang may nakalimutan ako. It has something to do with my hands kasi yun, I forgot what it is.

My head's a mess thinking kung ano yung nakalimutan ko. Di ko na napansin ang tingin ni Logan sakin dahil sa kakaisip.

Then I saw a dog running or maybe chasing something in my peripheral vision, then it hit me.

“Ohh damn… shit…shit… MY DOG!!” I don't know what to do. I look at Logan, noticing that his looking at me, trying to stop smiling.

“So… Are we going to chase your dog? Or continue staring at each other?” He said, grinning like an idiot. Giving a small shade of pink on my cheeks. KAHIYAAA SELPPP!!!

“Di ko knows na clown na pala ako ngayon, comedian na lang pala pinasokan kong trabaho,” (insert Cong tv crying meme) “Sige oks lang, tanggap ko na for entertainment lang pala life ko para sayo.”

He just laughed at me like I'm some kind of joke. He then ran, chasing my dog. I just look at his running figure in disbelief and join chasing my dog.

Thirty-five minutes later, we finally catch Orion, my dog, after chasing him around the park. We both fall to the ground, exhausted, while laughing.

I look at him, admiring his happy face. How I wish to look at it every day, but everything has an end. I look away baka makita pa nya akong nakatitig.

“Care to have breakfast with me?” Logan ask, “It's already nine, and I haven't eaten yet. I assume na hindi ka pa kumain, kaya sabayan mo na ako.”

Woah akala ko he didn't know how to speak in tagalog. I stop myself, looking a bit in shock.

Who am I to decline diba? So I agree and we both went to a nearby eatery. We get inside and sit at the table near the window.

“Food's here are delicious. Lagi akong kumakain dito kapag wala akong gana magluto,” I started a conversation para hindi awkward.

Minutes later, the waiter came to take our orders. We then talk about random nonsense conversation. Logan and I laugh like idiots, not minding the attentions we get.

The waiter then came with our orders in hand.

We talked and eat like we know each other long enough. I just realize na marami pala kaming common likes and dislikes, just like he also has a dog name, Side.

Like what a coincidence both our dogs have Greek name and married on the Greek mythology (based on my research—google).

Is it destiny? Is good God giving me a chance to love and be love? Stop assuming self, you'll get hurt. My thoughts said.

After this and that's inside the eatery. We decided to go home.

We arrive at our apartments. Papasok na sana ako, but he stopped me on doing so.

“Kai…if, maybe, you know when you are not busy. We should sometimes hang out?” Logan said, not sure if his asking a question or not.

“Yeah sure and you can visit here if you needed anything.”

He just smiled and nodded. We both then bid goodbye and enter our apartments.

...ʟ, ᴍᴇᴀɴs ʟᴀɢɪ...

Lagi nalang akong naka abang, di ko nga alam kung may aabangan pa ba ako. Laging nakatingin sa malayo, hoping that one day he might come back and save me from drowning, but I shouldn't expect that because I know that it won't happen anytime soon. Time already passed, yet I can't seem to move forward.

Three days have passed.

Logan sometimes visit my apartment bringing Side with him para may kalaro si Orion. Para ngang dito na s'ya titira dahil he sometimes ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in my apartment. Kulang na nga lang na imbitahin ko s'ya na dito nalang tutuloy and making him my roomie, but I stop myself before doing so. I'm embarrassed, and he might reject my invitation.

Today is weekend's kaya wala kaming pasok dalawa sa work. We both worked at an office, and surprisingly we work at the same company. I didn't even know that he was there, well I don't really roam around the building that much, so it's not surprising, and I hardly even know some of my colleagues name's. Coincidence right.

I glance at him and saw that naka upo pala sya sa sahig playing with our dogs, thank God dahil nilagyan ko ng carpet. I just stared at them also enjoying what they were doing.

“Kai, how about we go to the mall today and play some arcades there?” He suggested, wiggling his eyebrows and a smile forming on his lips, “Sounds like a plan, right?” Still not stopping wiggling his eyebrows. I just laugh at his craziness.

I then nodded dahil wala naman akong gagawin sa bahay kundi ang magmukmok nalang and stalk my soc med friends. I'm not a stalker though, just curious about their life even though I don't know some of them.

He went back to his apartment with Side, so nagmamadali akong naligo at nagbihis. After twenty minutes in getting ready. I waited for him in my living room and notice na ang bilis ko palang naligo at nagbihis. Excited much selp, hmm. Ignoring my thoughts.

Five minutes later, Logan then enter my apartment, not even bothering to knock. He really feels at home na kulang na lang dito na s'ya titira.

“Are we good to go na ba?” He said after we put a leash on our dogs.

“Yeps, wala nang nakalimutan. Wallet, keys, and phones. Check,” Sinabi ko pagkatapos makomperma ang lahat.

We then went outside and waited for the elevator to open. Pagka-baba namin we leave our dogs at the pet store beside our apartment building which is nagbabantay din sila ng pets if the owners wants to leave their pets behind.

Logan then hailed a taxi, after we got inside he said to the driver kung saan kami pupunta. Forty-five minutes later, the taxi stop in front of the mall. We paid him and went inside.

“Yasss, cold air come to papi,” Then raising my hand waiting for the cold air to embrace me. Looking like an idiot. Because of what I did, I caught the attention of others. They might think that what mental institutes I came from.

Logan beside me just laugh, nasanay na sa aking kabaliwan even though we just meet and known each other in a span of three days.

Diretso kaming pumunta sa palaruan and decide what game we should play first. Inside the arcade, you could see all different types of game. We approach a booth where you could buy a token. After buying, Logan run sa unang nakita nyang malaruan and insert a token, so he can start playing. I then followed.

The older's and even the young kids look at us weirdly dahil lahat na ata dito nilaruan namin at samahan mo pa ng ingay, kulitan, at tawa na parang hindi matatapos. Ginabihan kami kakalaru and I decided na sa mall na lang din kami kumain before we go home.

Walking out of the mall, I feel the warm breeze of air cover my body. Pumara kami ng taxi and continue talking nonsense talk.

I could feel that I was lift and a slight movement, so I open my eyes to see Logan is carrying me.

O-M-G naba dis?

Am I still dreaming? If yes, don't wake me up, fles.

Gosh, Logan Sai is carrying me, not bridal style though just piggyback, but still mga ferson look at me and mainggit kayo HaHaHa.

Nakakahiya man dahil nakatulog ako, but worth it. I know that I dasurve this moment.

My insides were a scramble, a mess even. The butterflies inside me are in a riot, fluttering their wings like crazy. At this time, I don't know if I should say a word or two to let him know that I woke up or pretend that I was asleep, but crazy little me choose the former.

Here goes nothing, I guess.

I pretend to cough and clear my throat to let him know I'm awake.

“Nagising ba kita? Sorry. We are almost there, though,” He said, still holding me.

“You can put me down now that I am awake you know, and I think I'm quite heavy,” I replied, trying to go down—Not really.

“I didn't even feel carrying you in my back.” Ano yarn, Light as a feather, hehehe. The crazy me inside my head speak up.

I thought na pinababa na nya ako dahil huminto sya pero he just settles me in his back and continue to walk, kaya hindi na lang ako nag-pumilit na bumaba. He insists, and who am I to deny diba.

We later arrive in front of my door and that's when he let me get down. Ngayon ko lang napansin na he's taller than I by five inches. I'm 5'9, and I think I'm pretty tall, but he's taller, must be 6'3 or something. When it comes to body size. I'm not muscular, just have a right portion of muscles, a bit of abs to show and the right portions of biceps. Just a healthy body to maintain. When it comes to him, have you seen or read Kim Myung-Dae (BJ MD from BJ Alex) if not then search it fersons it's a sight to see, Logan had the same type of body like MD. So he is pretty much ripped.

Binuksan ko ang aking pinto and was about to invite him in, when I realize na lumapit pala ang mukha nya sa'kin. An inch is left for our lips to touch, and he even went a bit closer, making me forget how to breath. Seconds feels like hours passed when he closed the gap that prevents our lips to touch.

When I felt his soft lips on mine, we stayed unmoved for a minute. He then moved his lips slowly, and I followed suit. I put my hands on his shoulder and lean against the wall to prevent myself from falling when I felt my knees turning into jellies. He put his hands around my waist and sliding them up and down just below my rib cage.

We move in sync, like we just practice it a while ago. His lips on mine were in rhythm, making me forget that we are still outside our apartments and didn't even care if somebody might see us. I don't even remember when was the last time someone kissed me this damn good.

Ten minutes passed and that was the best ten minutes that I've felt. He let go of my lips and looking at me, grinning like there's no tomorrow.

“Breath Kai,” He said, still grinning like an idiot and making his Korean eyes more squint. Joy and something unreadable are visible in his honey brown eyes. Which made me stupidly smile.

I breathe just like he said, I didn't even notice I was holding it. I am still speechless, I don't know what to say when I can't even utter a word.

“Get inside Kai. See you tom's, Good night and dream of me,” Winking at me and steal a quick kiss. He ran to his door, opening it, went inside waving bye at me before closing it.

I stood there for a minute and went inside, running to my room. I slumped to my bed, touching my lips, remembering what happen earlier. Furthermore, I then smile like a teenage boy getting his first ever kiss from his crush.

Wellp… Yay to no sleeping, I guess.
