Chapter 1: Beginning
The loud flashing of camera sounds can be heard all over the airport exit together with the whispering of people. The reporters are all patiently waiting to cover the arrival of the newest rising star, Park Jimin.
Park Jimin is a well known model and singer in Korea and internationally. He originally came from Busan, South Korea but move to Seoul so, he can have a good fortune and luckily he became one of the rising stars now but little did they know he had a little secret — he's married.
Jimin sighed for the ninth time of the day, he was waiting for the airplane to land. He missed his own land, he miss the cold wind and the city lights. He missed Korea. The whole tour and modeling overseas exhausted him, all he wanted to do is to just lay down his bed and sleep.
Taehyung
It wasn't your first time going back here, Jimin.
Taehyung
Don't worry, you're not going to see him. Your vacation here will be peaceful. I promised you that.
Kim Taehyung is his bestfriend since they're young. They know each other's secret including the fact that he was already married. No, they're not in a relationship.
Jimin pulled out his phone to messaged Jin, one of his hyungs. He knew his hyung will be mad if he didn't inform him of his arrival today.
Jin
Why are you texting me at the middle of the night, you brat?
Jimin laughed silently. His hyung never changed.
Jimin
I'm sorry, hyung. I just want to inform you that I arrived in Korea now and be there in an hour.
Jin
AND YOU ONLY INFORM ME NOW?
Jin
I DIDN'T EVEN PREPARE ANYTHING! WE NEED TO HAVE SOME PARTY
Jimin
We can do that tomorrow. I want to rest when I go home, Can you prepare my bed for me?
Jin
What am I to you? Your maid?
Jin
I'll prepare the bath tub too.
Jimin smiled. Jin was reliable when it comes to this even if he got a sassy attitude, he still take care of his friends like family.
The airplane finally land and they got their luggages faster than the usual. They were about to get out when they saw the flashing of the cameras everywhere. What a life of celebrity.
Taehyung
Hold my hands, Jimin. We don't have a choice but to get through those cameras.
Jimin sighed and hold Taehyung's hand. They took a deep breath and let the security guide them out of the airport.
Jimin was bombarded with questions coming from the reporters thirsty for some issue. Don't get him wrong as a celebrity, he didn't like reporter's invading his privacy and be in the headlines with a misled news article.
He was asked why he came back, when is his comeback or how was his life after winning multiple awards but one thing that caught his attention was what he saw at the crowd. The whole area became silent and he can't see anyone beside that man.
Taehyung
Jimin? Are you okay?
Jimin snapped out of it and realized they're already out of the crowd.
Jimin
Yes, I'm fine. I'm sorry, I'm just really tired.
Taehyung
Then let's go home now.
He can't forget the man he saw wearing a hoodie and a headphone smiling brightly with another man.
The another man name is Jung Hoseok, a famous and professional choreographer dancer in Seoul. He was with his boyfriend as what Jimin saw. His boyfriend who's smiling brightly as if he's seeing the future with him, the boyfriend name is none other than Min Yoongi, a well known producer that created multiple award winning songs for famous singers — his husband.
Jimin chuckles while looking at the outside of the window. He then whispered.
Jimin
You really replaced me easily, Yoon.
Jimin
But, I can't blame you..
Jimin
After all, You can't remember who am I to you.
Chapter 2: Him
Yoongi looked at the one who called him. It was Namjoon, his hyung. He gave him a stern look then say.
Yoongi
I told you to don't disturb me during work, hyung.
Namjoon
It's important, stop that for a minute.
Yoongi stop what he was doing and turn his chair so, he can talk with his hyung face to face.
Namjoon
Did you take your medicine?
He didn't know why he need to take those medicines, all he know is he got into an accident three years ago. He didn't have any injuries, as a matter of fact he can walk properly that's why he don't get it when his mom and Namjoon was so persistent for him to take his medicines.
Yoongi
I don't need to take those medicines. I'm perfectly fine as you can see.
Namjoon sighed and opened the bottom drawer beside Yoongi's desk. He took out the younger's medicine and get a bottle of water.
Namjoon
Take your medicine on time or else I'll send you off early.
Yoongi cursed silently enough for Namjoon not to hear and take the medicine. It's not that he doesn't like the taste, sure medicines taste horrible but he isn't a kid. He can take it but his tired of it, he's been taking it the moment he woke up in the hospital.
Yoongi
Why are y'all so persistent?
Yoongi
Three years ago the doctor told me that I don't have any physical injuries right? just some small scratches that can be healed for a day.
Namjoon stay silent, he knows what Yoongi will say next.
Yoongi
But that isn't the issue here right? I lost my memories temporarily but even after three years it still hasn't go back that's why all of you are pressuring me to take does dang medicine.
As what Namjoon predicted, he don't like what's coming out of Yoongi's mouth.
Yoongi
Why can't you all give up? It's not that I lost something super important.
Namjoon glared at Yoongi.
Namjoon
If you knew what you lost, you wouldn't say that.
Yoongi
News flash, I don't. Leave me alone, I'm happy with my life. I'm happy with Hoseok. I don't need my memories back.
Namjoon
Hope you won't regret what's coming out your mouth.
That was the last thing Namjoon said before walking out. Leaving the younger alone by himself.
It was true he didn't need his memories to come back. He is happy now. He is a well known producer making plently of money and good music, he enjoy and love his job. He had his own house and gave his parents their own house, it was a dream come true for him. And also, He have a lovely boyfriend, Jung Hoseok. He was contented to his life now.
He don't need anything. If there's anything he forgot? He didn't need to remember it because past is past and he choose to forget it already.
He looked at his phone ringing at the table. He saw the caller name, it was Hoseok.
Yoongi
No, I'm just take my medicine because you know, Namjoon hyung invade my studio.
Hoseok
You know he want you to get better right?
Yoongi
I know but it's been what? three years! I'm tired of it.
Hoseok stay silent for a minutes then answered.
Hoseok
If you remember what happened, you won't say that.
Yoongi
You keep all saying that but my decision is final. I don't want to remember anything from my past. You're the only one for me.
Hoseok
I hope you can say that till the end.
Jimin was lying on his bed, trying to figure out what to do. Tomorrow he'll have a welcome back party hosted by his Jin hyung, it means that he need to face their friend well, of course not him. He definitely won't got to his party.
Then he need to go to Daegu for some work plus vacation. He didn't know why he need to Daegu to record a new song for his comeback which is by the way self written by him but the producer was so picky. He want him to go to Daegu because his schedule is full but what about him? He is a rising star and a famous celebrity with multiple commercial projects and interviews. Jimin sighed, he just decided to take a vacation there so, there will be no hassle even though he don't want to be there.
Daegu gives him painful memories.
Jimin suddenly heard a knock and saw Jungkook opening it. Jungkook is the youngest on their circle of friends and Taehyung's boyfriend. He smiled at him and wave his hands.
Jimin
Didn't know you're here. You missed me?
Jungkook
You seems to occupied with your thoughts and you look tired when you got here. Are you going to sleep now?
Jimin
You didn't answer my question, I'm sad. Anyway, I was about to but don't worry you can talk to me.
Jungkook
You know I miss you right? No need to asked me. Are you sure you're fine going back here? It's not that I don't want you here but what happened years ago...
Jimin
I'm fine, don't worry. I came back for work and to have a little vacation here.
Jungkook
But if you need to ask anything just ask me, hyung.
Silent echoed inside the room until Jimin speaks again.
Jungkook
He's still taking his medicine, we are all hoping for him to gain his memories back but..
Jungkook
He seems like he doesn't want to remember it.
Jimin
Of course, he's happy now. What's the point of remembering it.
Jimin
It's not like a happy memories at all.
Jungkook
Jimin, don't say that.
Jimin
I've been doing that for three years but look at us now. He's happy with someone else.
Chapter 3: Friends
Jungkook didn't know what to reply to what Jimin said. It was true, after that horrible accident the one who got it rough is none other than the older. He sighed then left the room, leaving Jimin alone because that is all he can do. Give him space.
When Jimin heard the door closed, he stand up and get some clothes. He want to take a bath and thanks to Jin who help him to unpack, his clothes are now organized. He opened the bathroom door and was welcomed with the relaxing smell of strawberries, his favorite smell.
He felt the need to turn on some music for a perfect combination of the good smell. He opened his phone and saw a message pop out.
He said to himself. He opened the message.
Jimin
Oh...reporters are really fast haha.
Jimin
Yes, I'm finally back.
Namjoon
Did you have a safe flight?
Jimin
I don't know. Nothing much changed, I think? I just arrived haha by the way Jin hyung will host a welcome party for me, wanna come?
Namjoon
Sure! I'll be happy to attend.
Jimin
That's great! I'll tell him later.
Jimin
Are you going to ask me too, if I'm fine being here?
Namjoon
I hope that's true.
Namjoon
I know you, your pain for the past few years. You don't need to hide it.
Jimin
I heard he doesn't want to remember me.
Namjoon
He doesn't know what he was saying and also..
Namjoon
Hoseok wants to talk to you.
Jimin
Please tell him, he didn't need to. I'm fine.
Namjoon
Jimin, he'll remember you.
Jimin
As I said, I'm fine. Don't push him to do what he didn't want to do. I respect his decision and also tell him, I'm sorry.
Namjoon
Sorry? Jimin it's not your fault!
Jimin
I'm sorry because I can't file it but I'll do my best to file it.
Jimin
Bye, hyung. It's nice talking to you again but I'm ***** and taking a bath.
Namjoon
Don't bring your phone in the bathroom, next time.
Jimin laughed then turn some music on. He opened his tweeter account and post something for his fans, they're special to him after all they're the reason why his on top now. To be a celebrity you need to endure it all but with the help of his fans, he get through it all. It's one of the thing he was super grateful after being famous. Yes, sometimes fans will leave him to support another new artist but he was still thankful to them for being part of his life and to the others who stayed with him, he'll cherished them forever.
He laughed again, he didn't know Jin already has an account. What happened to the 'I don't need a twitter account cause I have eat jin with me'? He was glad to have this friend who stayed and wait for him to comeback. He is lucky to have them.
After 30 minutes, he finished taking a bath while thinking of a plan for his new song. The new song he's writing about is full of emotions, his emotions. He wanted to add his own dance to it to show people the real meaning of his song.
He heard Taehyung's voice calling him from the outside of the bathroom.
Taehyung
Just checking on you.
Jimin
I'm fine. I'm sorry, I just lost in my own thoughts.
Taehyung
Jin hyung made dinner for us.
Taehyung
Come to the dining room after you finished, okay?
Jimin
Yes. Thank you for telling me!
Jimin
Tae..uhmmm..I have a question.
Jimin
The producer...who is he?
He waited for Taehyung to reply. He then heard a sighed.
Taehyung
Someone you knew but don't worry I'm here for you.
Someone I knew? He said to himself.
