I was nervously waiting for my college bus at the stop, nervous because today was the first day of my college life. Since childhood, I had many fantasies about my college life, like bunking lectures, romancing young lecturers and circled around by beautiful girls all the time. Of course studies too were in the list but at the end.

But as it says "roses don't come without thorns." Likewise, all the fun had to come later but before that like every fresher, I too had to undergo through ragging.

RAGGING, of what every fresher gets scared off. I had been heard, getting killed in an encounter as a gangster by several policemen was much easier than getting ragged by seniors. But it is an inevitable part of one's college life. Ragging gives memories. No matter how good, bad or worse. It just depends totally on luck.

I took a glance at my watch. The bus was already ten minutes late. It wasn't a surprise when there was so much traffic to crawl on the roads. The stop was full of boys and girls. Everyone was stranger to me. I didn't know who my senior was and which one was my batch mate. Some were chatting and few were Mr. lonely like me, standing alone.

Everybody had dressed nicely. I too had put on a black shirt, black jeans, black shoes and the colour of my bag too was in black. But I missed the proper combinations, all thanks to my colorful boxers. Anyone could easily think me as a black cat commando or men- in- black, that time.
