"Thoma! Thoma!" Ayato came running with all his might. "Ayato-kun?" Thoma was surprised seeing his best friend catching up with him so quickly. "Hehe can't catch me!" Thoma teased." Thoma's mother giggled "Careful! orelse you'll fall." "Don't worry mama, I won't!" Thoma replied.

Suddenly, Thoma was pulled back with a strong grip on his shoulders, "Thoma, are we still friends?" An icy voice asked from behind. Thoma turned to see Ayato coldly staring at him. The atmosphere became so suffocating that he couldn't utter a single word.

Soon, in a blink of an eye, everything faded away.

"AARGH I heard you!" Thoma threw the alarm clock across the room. Still half-asleep, he got up from the bed and yawned. "Haah....another nightmare." No sooner had he entered the kitchen, his phone rang."Ugh...what now?"

"Hmm.. I see... alright I look through it... Thank you.... No No don't worry about it... anyways have a good day" He hanged the phone call and put his phone to charging. "Damn, my juniors are always calling me like anything. *stomach grumbles* Oh shi- gotta quickly eat and go to work."

Thoma went to the bathroom. He looked at his image in the mirror. "Man, I'm so ugly." He sighed and tied a ponytail, washed his face, and brushed his teeth.

"HEY MY MANN!!" Arataki Itto, Thoma's co worker greeted him with a booming voice. "Jeez, Itto! Can't you lower your voice a bit!?" Thoma said, in an irritated tone. "Oh-hehe Sorry" Itto quickly apologized.

"I really didn't expect the manager to be idly hanging around with his co workers" A strict tone came from behind. It was Aether, the secretary of the Kamisato group.

"My bad, Sir I hope I'll not repeat such attitude in future" Thoma hung his head low and replied quietly. This melted Aether's heart. "Ahem, so Young Master has called for you."

"What? Out of all, why me?" Thoma wondered.

"Sir?" As Thoma entered the room, Ayato shot a disgusted look on him. "Tch, YOU AGAIN!? ugh, well I did call you... Go complete this paperwork-your deadline will be tomorrow. Fir now, bring me a cup of coffee." Ayato replied with an intimidating tone.

"Hey, wipe that disgusting grin off your damned face. Anyway, did you arrange all the meetings for today?" Ayato walked over to him giving him the papers.

In response, Thoma nodded.

Out of a sudden, a tight slap landed across his face. "Don't you dare nod or smile at me ever again, Thoma! You disgusting bastard. Now get out of my office and make me some coffee."

Thoma quietly went away from there sat down at his workplace and started working as usual.

(Ayato's pov)

Ugh, finally that asshole is outta my sight. I swear that one day I will kill him for what he had done.

{10 minutes later} Where's that Thoma?! I called my secretary. I told him to check on Thoma whether he's making my coffee or not. Aether obeyed my request and went out of the room.

As Thoma was busy working, he noticed Aether walking up to him. He wondered what was the matter. Aether spoke in calm, collected manner "Young Master is demanding for the coffee." "Wait a sec, coffee?" His head was in a whirl.

Now get out of my office and make me some coffee.

Thoma sprung up from his seat and made a dash to the café "Oh shit I totally forgot!"

When accidentally he bumped into Itto. "Ahhh sorry for that! I'm so clumsy!" Itto helped Thoma to get up and said, "Nahh it's alright bud" Thoma grinned and went to café, thinking as if this day could get even worse.

Suddenly, someone announced that Master Kamisato and his wife will be coming so everyone should be prepared.

But Thoma didn't pay much attention and took the coffee in a waiter-style manner (idk how you express the style 💀)to the office.

(Thoma's pov)

I knocked at the door and I entered as soon as I was granted permission. Young Master was glaring at me like anything. 'If you ever become late again, you'll be dead meat' he snapped at me in a cold tone. This sent me shivers down the spine. I still wonder why he hated me so much.

So, as I turned towards the door, I saw Ayato's mother entering. I was so surprised see her that I stumbled. 'Ah! are you OK dear?' The woman softly spoke as she held out a hand for me. Not wanting to be rude, I just accepted and got up. Then I quickly walked away, trying not to draw any attention.

It's lunch time and I just finished my food. As I was leaving the cafeteria, I heard someone calling me. I had doubted if it was really me who was being called. Then, I saw Ayato's mother pointing at my direction. Confused, I pointed at myself to confirm. She nodded a 'yes'. I walked at her direction and followed her to wherever she's going. I don't know why but she totally gave off a cold aura, just like Ayato. *sigh* Guess, like mother like son.

Afterwards, when I reached near the office, I heard loud sounds coming from inside. I became afraid, scared that something bad will happen. But, Mrs. Kamisato gave me an assuring pat on the back.

As I walked in, I saw Thoma glaring knives at his father. I heard him say some things like 'HOW CAN IT BE!?' or 'I WILL NOT AGREE' and like that.

{Third person's pov}

As Ayato saw Thoma, he was burning in anger and lunged forwards. He pinned him, strangling him hard. He pressed the carotid vein with just enough pressure to knock him out.

Thoma fainted and slumped down. When he regained his consciousness, he found himself in a dark room.

(Thoma's pov)

As soon as I woke up, I heard the door open. A white haired lady entered, with her pale blue eyes gleaming in the faint light. She spoke softly 'Thoma dear, you woke up?' Wait a sec, how come she knew my name? Then, she interrupted my thoughts and said eagerly, ' do you like my son?' Before I could say a word, she put her index finger on my lips, 'let's make a deal then! how about you marry my son orelse get killed?'
