Damn I hate this place. Shadow city was a reminder of the dishonor that befell my family's name. I passed the streets as quietly as my anger would allow me and decided not to teleport to Takasaki's mansion.

It took me ten minutes to realize I had stopped at the base of the mountain where the mansion was erected. Why was I hesitant to go and kill this man? Was it fear? I laughed into the still wind as the thought crossed my mind.

I unsheathed my sword and carefully examined it. The blade shone in the afternoon light, as if it had never drawn blood. The hilt was black and was one word was carved onto it, "KILL"

Looking at those words I remembered why I wanted to kill Takasaki. For revenge. With that rage burning inside me, I jumped past the side of the mountain and reached its summit.

Two guards stood in front of me, wearing dresses on top of their armor. One had a spear and the other a sword. "Halt, no one is allowed past this point" said the one with the sword.

"I'm not no one," I replied in what I hoped was a cool guy voice and drew out my sword. "Very well, as you wish," said the guard with the sword. They started running at me with their weapons at the ready when an idea hit me.

"Wait," I screamed and the guards stopped in the tracks. "Before I kill you, may you introduce yourselves. It's getting very annoying to think of you as (the guards)." They both stared at me as if I was crazy.

Then they started attacking again( that's why I identify them according to the weapons). The one with the spear reached me first and began his attack. The spear glew light blue as he dabbed at my face.

I avoided all his attacks and knocked him back with the hilt of my sword. The guard with the sword jumped over my head and tried to cut off my head. I blocked the blade with my own and caught his leg.

When the guard with spear looked up, I had my sword at the throat of his partner. "Stay out of my way or he dies," I told him and he just laughed. "Frost spear, Ice barrage" he enchanted and ice spears flew straight at me.

Using the body of the guard with a sword as cover, I teleported behind the guard with the spear. "Your blood is on your hands.l, " I said with a whisper behind his ear. Then his head was disconnected from his body.

I stood over the bodies of the guards I had just killed. The one with sword was disfigured as holes covered his whole body from head to toe. The other guard had blood coming out of his neck as there was on head.

My sword glew red and I knew what was happening. The blood of the guard was being absorbed. Its' essence was being replicated into the blade. But the blood wasn't enough. It craved more.

I walked to the other guard and looked down at his body. Then I plunged my sword right into his abdomen, letting the blade have what it wanted. When that was done, I turned to face the door that would me to my prey.

" Looks like the dog has returned to its' master," said a man in front of me. I was standing in a very long corridor on the 7th floor of Takasaki's mansion. All the guards who had tried to stop me had met brutal but painless deaths. Now the last person who stood before me was him.

Takasaki was, what you could call a king in hiding. He had many connections to the famous and wealth. His wealth alone was enough to buy the whole continent, but he chose to spend it smuggling girls to please his desires. Even without the wealth, his strength was as mighty as the shadow's clans (which was wiped out decades ago , except for a few survivors.)

"Takasaki, you know why I'm here." I announced across the hallway. " Of course, and you also know very well that there is always a price to pay to gain knowledge," he sneered at me before continuing, " And you cannot afford it." I walked closer to him and stood at the edge of the stairs that ascended his throne.

" Instead of paying what price you have in mind, why don't I just spare your life, " the words came out colder than I expected. Takasaki stared into my eyes for a moment and then started laughing his lungs out. " Mr Kazekura, I will admit that your strength is impressive, but so is mine. "

I unsheathed my sword and pointed its' tip at his head, " This blade will have your blood. " He stood off his throne and eyed me before walking down the stairs. He soon came an inch away from the blade." Don't make promises you can't keep."

( it's over) I thought as I leaped forward but he dodged the blade with easy. I spun on my heel and attacked again. The sword flew across the air, slashing into thin air as Takasaki managed to evade all my sword strokes. He slipped and I knew this was my chance.

I ****** the sword, knowing he couldn't avoid it now. How he did it, I don't remember, but he appeared behind me. " You were an amusing opponent," and then he punched me right in the gut( again, how he appeared there, I have no idea)

I flew across the room and hit the eastern wall. My whole body was shaking as I got to my feet. Looking where he was standing, we were over a 100 meters apart." That was shadow fist, hope it didn't injure your organs," said Takasaki as he laughed.

( To note, SHADOW FIST is a fighting technique where you transfare energy from all over your body into your fist. When you punch a person, the energy is transfared into his body.)

" Do you really think you can defeat me, not even your mother could defeat me," Takasaki continued to laugh.

" Sorry mom, but I have to use it," I whispered. " Overpower activate, times 3." Black aura emitted from my body, rising and falling as if it were a flame.

" Takasaki, I made I promise to you, now I will fulfill it. " I shouted and ran towards him. Before he could blink, I had cut him over ten times and most of his teeth were out of his mouth. "Now, before I finish you, tell me where they are," I looked him straight in the eye.

"Your sister is going to be transfared to Yukikage's lay in the Ne Lan towns and your brother is somewhere near there." I stood there collecting my thoughts. "Thank you for your cooperation," I stated before asking, "Any last words?" "Got to hell!" I smiled, " You first," and took again another life.
