My name is Sienna. I'm in my senior year and a spoil princess, that's what everyone thought. I don't have friends in this school. Everyone hated me because I dated with one of the popular guy in school.

Today, I'm in front of my parents kneeling with guilty.

"Do you hear me?!" My mom yells. My dad sitting beside her trying to calm her down.

"Hum? Oh umm..." I scratch my head because I didn't hear what she said.

"Don't 'oh umm' me! I told you not to fight but you didn't listen and now you're suspended for 2 weeks!" She said. I could see her tears are welling in her eyes. For the first time I look right into her eyes and could see she's hurt. Because of me.

"I promise. I will never do that again." I said. I look down on my lab. Tears startmto drop one by one and flown like a stream. How could I bring myself to them? How could I tell them everything? Seeing them like this make me want keep it to myself even more. I would rather getting hurt them seeing their painful face.

"This is not the first time you're suspended. I told you I wouldn't let it go next time, didn't I? Now, you have to do as I say. I'll have you transfer to a new school. I give you a second chance so live there without troubles." My mom said. I nod my head. I quickly wiping my tears as I don't want them to see me like this.

"You going to let me live alone?" I ask hoping she would say yes. It's not like they can't afford a place for me to stay.

"Of course not. I have a friend there so you'll live with her." My smile fade as I hear what my mom said. This cant be happening.

"Mom! You know I don't like living with stranger."I whine.

"Sienna, you promised. That's the only way you can keep your promise. Beside, you're engaged with her son and that make you her family member." My mom said.

"Wait! What?! Since when?" My jaw drops as I heard what my mom just said. I couldn't believe my ear.

"Since ..." my mother pauses as she is trying to think. "I don't remember but it has been awhile." She finishes.

"Mom! I'm still a high schooler to get married." I continue whining so she would stop.

"Who say you're going to get married?" Wait come again? What did she say? I looked at her with a weird look and finally, she open her mouth.

"I have a talk with Jas and we both wouldn't want to force you two to get married. We just want you two to get to know each other. And of course you can get married after high school or after college if you two fall in love  and want to get married. You can call off engagement if you don't love him but not so soon. At least keep the engagement for six months." She explains. At least she is not going to force me to get married to someone I don't have feelings for.

'Six months? That's just a short of time. I can do this.' I thought.

"Fine. That's a great deal." I get up on the floor and go to my room. As I reach my room I collapse on my bed.

"Ouch! My knees hurt." I said as I sit up. I can see my knees are red. I flip down on my bed once again and just stare at the ceiling.

Flashback:

School backyard:

*slap*

"Bitch! Who do you think you are? You dare glare at me. I told you he's mine and you dare date him? Do you think he likes you? He didn't. He just used you to get at me."

"May, please stop slapping and kicking her. You've hurt her enough."

"What? She dated the one I love and you just tell me to spare her? Hell, no!"

"Listen to her. You should stop because I don't know what I'll do to you." I said agree with one of May friends.

"Hah.... you're too tiny. Your legs are short you can't win against me." She proudly said.

"Oh yeah.  You wanna see." I tried to get up even though I'm hurt. She did slap me hard.

"Come on. Come." She gesture her hand and so I slowly step my feet. As I am in front of her, no, I was actually below her, I looked up to her.

She left out a laugh.

"You're just a doll. You can't win." She said with a smirk.

I jumped and swing my right foot. I feel as if it a slow motion when my foot hit her head. She fell on the ground and groaned as she touch her head. She slowly get up and glare at me.

"How dare you hit me?"

"You wanna get hit again? I warned you, didn't I? You didn't listen." I said. And now it's my turn to smirk.

When she was about to come and slap me a voice was yell. We both stop and turn our heads. To my disappointment, it was one of our class teacher.

"You! You! Follow me!" She yells and gestures her hand for us to follow.

"Shit!" I quietly cursed.

Flashback End:

"Heh! I was only trying to defend myself. I did warned her though. How unfair that she's still going to school while I'm suspended."

"Mom. Dad. I'm going out." I yell as I run downstairs.

"Going out? Where? With who?" My mom asks as soon as she opened her room door and looked at me.

"Umm..... you know I don't have anyone to hang out with and I don't know where I'm going. I just don't want to stay home all day." I said scratching my head.

"What about that boyfriend of yours?."My mom asks.

"We broke up." I said.

"Wait what? You know? How?" I ask with a shocking face.

"You think I don't know anything? I know you have a boyfriend and why you were always fighting. It's because of him, right? That's the reason I arranged marriage for you." My mom explains. That makes sense.

"Since when?" I asks.

"Since the beginning." She said.

"Six months ago? But why didn't you say anything about that?" I ask.

"You weren't doing a bad thing so I didn't say anything until you got into a fight with those girls." She said and I nod my head in agreement.

"I'm not going to fight with anyone again, mom." I said and she smiles as she pats my head.

"Thank you. Go now. Go have some fun." She shoo me to go. I smile and and wave my hand as I walk away.

"Let's see. Where should I go?" I ask myself as I look around. People were coming and going. Some with their kids, some with their partners, and some with their friends.

Students were having fun going place to place with their friends while I'm walking alone without anyone.

I keep walking as I watch people movement and before I know it I'm in front of a book store.

"This place is still as quiet as it was." I quietly said. And when I decide to go inside someone call behind me.

"Siena?" A familiar voice call out. I stop on my tracks as I know this voice. I slowly turn around to look at the person.

He's smiling brightly at me.

"What are you doing here? I was looking for you at school but you were nowhere to be found. I called you but you didn't pick up. I heard you're suspended because of a fight. What happened?" He asks with a worried look.

"You're clueless about everything when it comes to me and you call yourself a boyfriend? I ignored you on purpose so don't ever call me again." I said and was about to leave when he grabs my hand. I didn't mean this. That must be painful for him. I'm the one who said it yet it's so painful.

"What do you mean? Why did you ignore me? How would I know when you didn't say anything?" He asks. I stop and turn to look at him with a blank face.

"I did. I told you. Remember when we were on a date at the Riverside Park? I told you that I feels unsafe dating you and that everyone glaring at me. You didn't hear, did you? Well how would you know when you eyes are on the phone. Did you even like me? Or were you just using me to get at her?" I asks.

"Her? Who?" He asks with a confused look.

"Who else? Your girlfriend May." I said.

"May? She's not my girlfriend for god sake! What did she tell you? What did she do to you?" He asks. His eyes were welling with tears.

"Girlfriend or not, I don't care. We are over and please don't call me again." I said as I turn away once more.

"Why did you do this to me?" He asks and I stopped on my track. I quickly wipe my tears away and turn around with a smile on my face. I held it in and show him no weakness.

"I have someone I love ." I lied. He's crying. His tears start flowing like a river. Seeing him like this want me to go and hug him. I love him but I run away because I am a coward.

"No, you're lying! You're just lying to get rid of me right?" He asked demanding an answer.

"No, she's not lying." A man out of nowhere come and stand by my side. I look at him weirdly and he looks back at me and smiled.

He leans in and quietly said, "I saw you. You were uncomfortable with this situation so I step in. Just play along with me." With a smile on my face I nod. At the corner of my eyes I can see Jay is getting angry.

"Who are you?" Jay asks as he stares at the man beside me.

"Obviously, her lover." He said and I almost choked on my own damm saliva.

"Siena, tell me it's not true." Jay pleads.

"It's true. He's the one I love." I look and smile at the man beside me. He smiles back and took my hand.

"Let's go, baby." He said and I nod. He take my hand and pull me beside him and I follow leaving Jay all by himself.

The man and I, we walked hand in hand for few minutes. After we arrive at Riverside Park, he let's go on my hand and asks, "Are you okay?"

"No." I quietly said. As soon as I said it, tears start to flow as if it waiting for a time to come out.

I crouch down and hid my face as I cry.

"You love him, do you?" He asks and I couldn't utter a words or should I say I don't dare answer the question.

"I'm sorry." He apologize. I stop crying and look at him.

"Why are you apologize when you didn't do anything wrong?." I said wiping my tears.

"I stepped in and it make the situation worse." He said.

"No, I'm glad you did. I was really uncomfortable there and beside I would still broke it off without him anyway." I said lowering my head.

"May I ask what happened between you two? You can answer only if you want it to." He said.

"He has another women." I shortly said.

"Oh.. I'm sorry." He apologize.

"It's fine." I said and we both stay quiet without saying anything.

"My name is Zeian. What's yours?" He asks after a long time of silence.

"Siena."

"Nice to meet you, Siena." He reach out his hand with a smile on his face and so I reach out to shake his hand.

"Nice to meet you and thank you for helping me earlier." I thanked him.

"No problem."

The Young Resident:

"Why did you call me on this Saturday morning and not saying anything? I though we are going to hang out but why are you still on bed? Get your *** up and look at me." Jeffrey, my best buddy pulling my blanket and said.

"Be quiet. Im trying to think." I said without getting up.

"Quiet? Then whey did you call me over?" Jeffrey said impatience.

"I don't know. I just want you here." I said. It's good to have someone by my side when things aren't good.

"Did you fight with Nina?" He asks and I seat up and look at him.

"Why would we fight? It's just I—I ....aish.... my mom arranged marriage for me." I finally said after how long time of thinking.

"Pst! You what?" He's shocks and I can see he almost choke. His eyes as wide as an owl. Well, I was also shocked when I heard my mom say I'm engaged. I flop down on my bed and sigh.

"Hey, Zeian. Get up.....What about Nina?" He asks as he pulling me up.

"I don't know. I am not going to leave her. I will keep this secret until the agreement is over. So, I hope you try to keep this from her too." I said.

"Agreement? What agreement?" Jeffrey asks as he sit down on my bed beside me.

"My mom said she won't force me and that I have to engage to that person for six months. To get to know her. And if I don't like her after six months she'll call out the engagement." I explains.

"Ooh that's a good thing then. Why is there to worry about since it's not force? And you can go back to the normal after six months though." Jeffrey said.

"Are you an idiot? Think about it.. six months is might not be too long but it's long for me and what if Nina know about this? What if she doesn't like the fact that I have another women even if it just temporary?" I loudly said. "And one more thing. She'll be living at my house starting tomorrow and will transfer to our school." I continue.

"Who?" He look at me curiously.

"Who else could it be? My fiancée, of course." I replied.

"She'll be living with you? Oh man.. a huge problem. Keeping a secret from Nina is a huge problem. What did I get myself into?." Jeffrey said as he facepalm. I nod my head with agreement.

"That's what I was worried about." I said rubbing my hair in frustration.

"Listen man. I have an idea. Why don't you talk to your so call fiancée and tell her to keep quiet about this whole thing? Sound's good?" Jeffrey asks. Come to think of it, yes, that might be a good idea.

"That's a good idea. I will have to talk to her and see if she will agree. Yes, that's perfect." I said nodding my head with a happy tone.

Knock knock—-

"Zeian, are you in there?" My mom call out.

"Yes, I'm in." I quickly reply and she opens the door.

"Oh when did you come? Is Zeian giving you a hard time again?" My mom asks as she saw Jeffrey.

"Oh no, ma'am." Jeffrey glances at me and reply. Glad he didn't say anything.

"That's good. Tell me if he's giving you a hard time. I'll whoop his ***.." My mom said and I face palm. Talk about language. I rolled my eyes and Jeffrey snicks on the side.

"Mom, you always tell me to watch my language but what about you?" I asks.

"I'm an adult. I can say whatever I want." She put both of her hands on her hip and said.

"Children see, children do. You know?" I said.

"I'll kick your *** if you do as I do." She said slapping my back.

"Ahh...mom..ah. Stop it."

"Hahahaaha..." I glare at Jeffrey as he's laughing hard. He stops as he see me glaring. My mom stops and so I adjust my clothes and asks, "Why did you come in?"

"Siena is coming tomorrow so make sure you help her manage living here and on Monday she'll go to school with you." My mom said.

"What? You help her. I'm not helping anyone and she can go to school alone."  I complain. And then I remember, "Wait? What did you call her?" I asks.

"Siena. Her name is Siena." My mom said.

"Could it be her? That Siena." I quietly asks myself.

"Why did you ask? Do you know her?" My mom asks.

"No, of course not." It's not her right? There's no way she's that person. I thoughts.

"Okay then.. you two have fun. Don't do anything stupid, alright?" My mom said as she walks out of my room.

The Vin's Resident

"Siena!" I faintly heard my mom call out to my name. I groan and turned my head and cover my ear with my pillow.

"Siena!" The footsteps and the voice came closer as I keep trying to go back to my slumber land.

"Siena, wake up. You have to get ready." She said.

"Mom, I already packed my things since last night." I said without taking off my pillow from my head.

"Then let's go. We can't waste time." She said.

"Sweetie, listen to your mom before you got a bucket of water. I'm sure you don't want to get wet in the early morning." I heard my dad said and I seat up right away. I look up and see my mom was already holding a bucket of water and ready to pour it on me. I quickly get up from my bed and dash to the bathroom.

"Here we are!" My dad excitedly said.

I look around and this neighborhood is unfamiliar to me. 'Will I be able to live with someone I don't know' I asks myself that since I was told to leave.

I sigh as I sluggishly get out from the car. I take out my luggage in my truck and follow my parents behind with a sulky face.

"I'll be fine." I quietly said.

"Oh you're here. Come in." A female in her 40s greet with a smile on her face.

"Jas! Good to see you!" My mom exclaimed.

"Good to see you, Sofia." They were both hugging each other.

I let out a cough and they both turn their head on me.

"Oh it's your daughter. She's beautiful just like you, Sofia." I awkwardly laugh.

"Thank you." I politely said with a smile. "Can I go in. I'm kind of a bit tired." I continued. My mom turn her head and wink at me. You know that wink. A mother wink for her children. We all know it's a bad sigh.

"Oh yes, I'm so sorry. Come in. Take a sit." She gesturing her hand for us to go in. We three took a sear right opposite of her.

"Zeian! Come on here. Meet our guests." Zeian? Sound familiar.

He comes out as soon as he was call and I look up to him and both of our eyes wide.

"You?!" We both yell at the same time with our eyes wide.
