I woke up gasping for air and I started breathing heavily. I get these nightmares usually because of the bakery owner. I don't know why he abuses me even if I make small mistakes, he beats me to death. I have been living on my own for the past 6 years after my foster parents died. They were not good people but I had someone to call my own.

When I used to go to the park alone I used to feel sad because when I see other children playing with their parents, why can't my parents cannot play with me?

I sighed and got up from my bed then went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and have a shower. After I finished I got ready for the day.

After I finished dressing up I looked in the mirror to see how I would look. I did not wear any makeup as I did not have it. I applied some body lotion.

I then headed to the kitchen to do some breakfast but when I opened the fridge it was empty with only bacon and some toast left with some eggs. So I made some scrambled eggs with toast and bacon. Then after I finished my breakfast I cleaned up the kitchen. I Took my purse from my bedroom then grabbed my phone before locking the door and grabbing the keys.

I hurried up as I was late. I reached there and I was greeted by my best friend Rachel. She is very sweet and kind. But there are rumours that he runs illegal stuff and does drug dealing. Anyways I ignored the thoughts from my brain then her voice pulled me out of the thoughts then she said "Hi how are you" I replied to her and then went back to the kitchen to start my shift.

My friend is nice and good. She was the one who helped me through my nice and hard times. When I first came to this bakery no one used to like me. They were like I am poor, I cannot get the job. She used to defend me a lot.

Then I made friends with her as she is very good.

There were not many people in the bakery, then I heard a loud motorbike noise coming, and then I saw a group of men getting down from the bike and heading towards the cafe. They all were tall and intimidating; they were walking as if they owned the place.

But there was a guy who was hot and more intimidating than others as if he was the leader. His looks could kill anyone and his face could tell that he was a very cruel person.

Suddenly I felt nervous because no one was there to take orders so I went there to take their orders but my palms were sweating and my body was shivering because they all were staring blankly at me. Then I started taking their orders.

The one with red hair started flirting with me and the others were joking around. The red hair said "Hi gorgeous you look beautiful " then suddenly I felt heat rise to my cheeks then someone growled while glaring at the red hair guy it was that green orbs guy. Then I turned to the other guy who was staring at me very intently with a smirk creeping on his face.

Then after all his friend told them their orders only, he did not speak any word as if he was in deep thought.

Then I cleared my throat then he stared at me with his green orbs. Then suddenly he said "hi kitten "I was feeling aroused at how deep his voice was. It was as if it was bringing anyone to their knees.

Then he grabbed me then he made me sit on his lap sideways. I was constantly moving on his lap to get comfortable and then after struggling I finally succeeded and got out of his grip and went back into the kitchen.

I felt butterflies in my stomach. He was masculine yet gentle. I felt safe in his arms.

Then from the window, I saw that he and his friends were leaving then they climbed on their motorcycle and went on it with a roaring noise but before leaving I felt him staring at me. As a promise held in his eyes. That is the desire to claim her.

I immediately felt tense after that meeting with him and an unknown emotion that I did not get from anyone else.

Then suddenly from my t, thoughts I saw someone behind me then I saw the shop's owner with a dark evil thought in his mind. Suddenly he grabbed my hand then the plate dropped from my hand the drunk owner drunk grabbed the plate shredded and pierced it into my hand.

I cried loudly but I know that there is no use as no one would help me. Because all of the workers were scared of him because they would lose their jobs as many people were orphans.

If I go and complain to the police they tell me that they cannot help me because he does illegal business and it is impossible for the police to stop him. Once I heard from Rachel that a co-worker was missing then the next day the news came out that he is dead. I got scared of it because I want to be alive. Try to find my real parents.

Then after he went inside his cabin I sighed and went back to the kitchen and took the first aid box then I cleaned myself and started to get ready to go to my home.

I started to walk to the apartment I reached and then I shut my door after that I went and changed my clothes, after that I had my dinner then I showered. I came to my room then my head touched the pillow I was out like a feather. Thinking about the green-eyed stranger.

I woke up from my bed and sighed loudly as I did not want to wake up because of the cold weather. I felt warm inside my blankets, but then I did not have another way so I had to wake up.

Likewise, I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth, and took a shower, then I rummaged through my closet then I found an old sweater that I got from my mother before she died, I wore it with a pink top and a black skirt.

Then after I finished dressing I checked myself in the mirror. I did not have any makeup so yeah I got up and went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast.

After I finished having my breakfast and cleaned up the kitchen, and then I took my purse from the living room my apartment was small, but it was enough for me to stay.

Then I wore my sandals, then I started walking to the bakery which was a 5-minute minute walk from my home.

It was a usual boring day at the bakery. One was there today even though my best friend did not come as she was sick.

Then it was about for the bakery to be closed. The bells chimed, indicating someone had come. I was met with the green orbs guy who had come to another day with his friends.

Today he was looking hot and dominating that will make anyone shiver. He was wearing a black leather jacket with a black long-sleeved shirt rolled up displaying his muscular tattoos. I couldn't help but stare at his hand it was so admirable to see a big dragon drawn on his hand.

He suddenly pulled me out of my thoughts when he cleared his throat. I saw him staring at me with a dark smirk. As if he has seen him gawking at him.

Then he spoke and said "Hi baby girl how are you" I felt a blush crawl to my cheeks as someone never called me these nicknames so, but I felt butterflies in my stomach when he called me that. Then my other co-worker came, so I was about to go back to the kitchen when he pulled me to his rock-hard chest.

His grip on my waist was tightened even if he left me for one second I would disappear in the air. Then he suddenly whispered in my ear.

I shivered at how deep his voice was. Then he said"I don't know why, but I feel something for you from the day I came "I was so startled because I did know what to say then only one thing came into my mind.

I ran into the staff room so he couldn't know where I was. I hid under the table so that he wouldn't find me.

When I heard someone open the door I thought it was the co-worker, but it turns out to be the green-eyed orbs guy. He said," Come out kitten otherwise the consequences will be bad when he finds me". I was scared then I came out from under the table.

Then he was walking towards me like how the lion would stalk its prey. It kept on going on until I back hit the wall, he was towering over my 5-foot size.

Then "He asked me to do u think u can run away from me ". If u run away I will catch u kitten so be careful.

He then walked away leaving me in a distressed state. I was breathing heavily. Because I did not know who the guy was and what he wanted from me.

I sighed heavily then I cleaned the kitchen then closed the bakery then and started walking towards my home I felt someone following me.

I felt a group of boys on the street looking drunker then one of them asked" Baby do you want to be with me tonight?

I felt angry. Then he started to rip the clothes. I started crying out, and I am asking for help then.

Suddenly I heard a growl. It was the same man who had come to the bakery the same day. He then said his voice grew cold and threatened by saying that "If you don't run away from here I will come and beat you.

Then the boys thought he was just joking. Then he started to beat them and put them on their faces.

He told him something in his ears which made him pale, and then he ran away for his life. Then he saw me whimpering on the ground then he gave me his jacket which he was wearing. I tried to get up, but I couldn't as I got a kick in the stomach.

Then he lifted me in his arms then he took me in his car and left me in my house. I did not have that much strength to ask him how he knows my house. Then he took the first aid kit from under the sink and cleaned my wounds.

Then he laid me on my bed. I asked him what his name was, but he replied to her saying that" It is the fine baby you sleep".

Then after he said that I was out like a light remembering today's event. Then I heard him whispering," I will not let any trouble come to you, I will protect you at all cost "then I slept, and only one thing came to mind, the stranger and what he wanted from me.

I woke up gasping for air it was just 2:30 am and got nightmares of the bakery owner. It was the worst day which I cannot forget till now.

Then I took a hot shower then I went and lay on my bed trying the sleep, but I could not sleep because of today's events.
