"Kaara... Wake up and get ready my dear , you'll be late to school otherwise." A very soft but not so gentle voice came from downstairs. A girl around 13 was lying on a bed in a very awkward position Her eyelids slowly fluttered open and woke up lazily.

She stretched her arms and yawned by showing all her 28 teeth. She stared at the door for a while and then stood up .

After a long brushing ceremony she looked in the mirror where she saw herself smiling at her . The long radiant bronze hair flowed smoothly till her abdomen. Those emerald green eyes she had were really stunning . One could fall for them just by seeing'em at first sight. Even though she had a baby face, her jawlines were slightly pointed. Then a voice came that meant urgency. "Kaara, You better hurry up ! Mumma has prepared breakfast for you kid. Come down as soon as you can."

Kaara then immediately took her hair brush and started de-tangling and combed her hair

so that she can tie it up into a high ponytail.

She then took a last chance to see herself in the mirror. Her teak-rose lips curled up high forming a half - moon shape. The clothes she wore were very casual . A skinny jeans,a white T-shirt and a red leather jacket. She grabbed her backpack that she had packed yesterday and went down to wish her parents a warm good morning and to gobble up the food before it gets cold.

"Good morning Papa and Mumma. May I sit here brother, if you don't mind?" Keith, her brother turned around to see his adorable lil sis. " Yea sure Karrie, you can sit here and by the way good morning ." Her father closed the newspaper he was reading as she sat down.

"Good morning Kaara dear , how was your sleep ?" But before she could answer her mother spoke in between " Oho , She was snoring as usual. You need not ask her my dear , we all know that she is the only one among us who manages to sleep peacefully even during knife -edge situations as well " She (Kaara )then sighed and said "But Mumma, its not my fault that I am always tired after studying and working all day .So how can you just blame me like that ?" "Oho my dear , I only meant it as a joke , You don't gotta take it seriously . " Her mother laughed gently and said. " Now my dear, you have to eat fast or else you will make it difficult for your father and your beloved brother ." "Yes , Mumma."

Kaara silently obeyed her mother and had her breakfast within 2-3 minutes.

attended ever since their kindergarten . Westcher's Public School was a prestigious school with a great reputation .Even though it was just a government school their parents only allowed them to go here. They haven't changed their school ever since as it was unnecessary.She kept her plates in the dishwasher after putting away the food waste. She then thanked Butler Zhin and maid ninny for serving her the food and some water."It's time already. Can't be late on the first day of school ." She said to herself after sliding her backpack on the shoulder.

*sigh* "How time passes quickly.....So fast....

After all these years.....Mother, I have missed you."

A boy around 15 was looking at the dark clouds present in the night sky through the window glasses of his room.

Suddenly he woke up to his senses. He felt more alert. He looked around as if he had heard something. The thunder had roared. The sound of the thunder was so loud that one could feel shiver going down through his spine. He felt goosebumps rising behind his neck and back. He sensed fear, but that didn't bother him.

He stood up and walked to his balcony. He opened the door and entered. He reached further and leaned forward on the wooden railings to support himself.

A loud lightning bolt appeared to be a crack on the walls of the dark,grey sky. It was showering blessing from heaven ."Its been so long since I enjoyed the rain, It reminds me of my past. Oh dear, how I missed you. You came on the right time." he thought.

Two pearls formed and escaped from his golden amber- like eyes and flowed down on his cheeks, just then he wiped his face and looked above. He straightened his position.

"Why am I the only one who is destined to have this fate? Why me? So happiness only lasts for a moment. huh?"

Little did he know his destiny. What the great fate had kept for him. Of course, he has choices which he can make in future.

But patience results in the best gift one could not afford.

"How much longer, Uncle Tobias?" asked Kaara who was looking outside through the window. She had a small fading smile on her

small pretty lips . But her eyes betrayed her. One could tell clearly that she was heavily dissatisfied just by taking a single glance. Her brother , Keith badly wanted to tell her to keep her mouth closed until they reach their school , but didn't speak anything as it was wiser not to argue with Kaara. He knew how sensitive his sister was. Just then , Uncle Tobias interrupted. "Young People , we've reached almost near our location. Be ready. And mi lil lady , Sorry even though we're a bit late . Just say that there was a heavy traffic . Don't worry , it's not more than 15 minutes from first bell. You'll reach there on time ( first period). Okay now go on. Take care you two. Behave like normal children. You should be polite but not too much....

"Yes Uncle Tobias , We will." They told him before he could finish what he was saying.

"Okay then."

A guard came appeared in front of the window and opened the door for them . They got down from the car along with their things and said a final farewell and *wroom* the car went the opposite direction. While they rushing to reach their school gate , Kaara asked her brother " Hey ol'bro , This is my first day of high school. New class.. New friends.. and you sure about what you said yesterday . Will I be okay ?" Her brother sighed and then said " Of course , Karrie you'll be alright. And yes , you mustn't forget what I said earlier. YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL AND NOT MESS AROUND THE ONES WHOM YOU SHOULDN'T AND CANNOT AFFORD. Am I clear. Some seniors can be awful , but you mot not interfere even if you saw bullying . In fact , if you do slap them , they might give you ten folds. Got it ?"

" Yess."

"Listen I might not be around to protect you everytime . So you must be on your on. Okay ? "

"Yes I will."

Kaara could not understand what her her brother meant but she agreed to be careful around those typical senior. 'Hmmm. Typical Bullies. huh ?' She then smirked and said.
