In the kingdom of Eden people are born with mana enabling them to do great things. Mana is present in the air, the land they walk on and the food they consume. Only by gathering and absorbing the mana outside ones body can one increase their own. It has been a long standing tradition that when reaching the age of ten childern are taken to the nearist awakening department to awaken their mana. It is on this day that 10 year old Scar along with his village chief and others his age, were on their way to visit the awakening building situated just outside the main city of Eden.

Arriving at the enterance of the city, the village chief and the rest find that their enterance is blocked by imperial guards. Stepping forward the village chief presents them with a metal and pointed to childern. One of the Guards nods his head whereby they entered afterwards. Navagating to the awakening building they entered where they await the chance to unlock their mana. One by one childern unlocked their mana by placing their hand on a mana orb. With the awaking done they returned to the village. Journing back to the village took two days and when reaching it the chief congratulated everyone for unlocking their mana and gave a few important words. "Only with a strong body can one increase the quantity and quality of ones mana".

These were the words that stuck with Scar as five years later we find him training in the forest just outside the village. Running along the road with a huge rock on his back Scar just finished his training for the day. With a glance one can see a well maintained body ready to explode with power. Taking the time to cool down Scar got into a meditation postures and started to gather the mana from the surroundings into his body. Their are 7 stages in total each significantly more powerful than the other. The denseness and quantity of once mana improves as they progress in their training. These stages are gathering, mana burst, intermediate, advance, sage, forbidden and transcended. Each of these stages has ten levels inbetween that one needs to achieve in order to progress to the next stage.

Finishing his daily routine Scar heads back to the village. Entering the village Scar makes his way to the center where the village chief building is situated. Arriving infront of the building he calls out and hearing a respond enters the small yet larger building. Inside the room Scar looks around at the pictures on the wall and moves to the familiar study room. Entering the room Scar sees the village chief and greats him. Greating back he asks why Scar came to visit him today. Scar replies by saying that he will be journying to the Kingdom of Eden. The village chief looks at him and talks to himself outloud, is it that time of the year allready. Waiting for a reply Scar looks at the village chief but did not get a answer instead the village chief goes to the back of the room and returned with backpack and handed it to him. Taking the bag and openinng it he finds a scroll and beast cores. Looking back at the village chief and before he could ask a question the chief signals him to follow him.

Follwing the chief they reached a area where no people were present. The chief explained that the bag was left behind by his father before he died and that it is a summoning scroll. Following the chiefs intructions Scar draws the imprent present on the scroll on the ground with mana and used a drop of his blood on the scroll. Dropping the scroll in the middle of the magic circle he injected most of this mana into the circle and waited for something to happen. Smoked suddenly surrounded the area, when visible again Scar saw a cat with a half shaped moon on his head. Other than that it looked like a audianary house cat. With everything done the chief wished him well on his journey as said that he fulfilled his duty and left.

Following the chiefs example Scar went home to pack his things and rest as it was already late in the afternoon. The next morning Scar woke up early eats and takes his backpack and exited his home. Walking to the village gate he looks back one last time than back forward and continued onwards.
