"MAYBELLE"

A shout was heard from downstairs, maybelle jolted awake and quickly came to her senses she then turned off the computer and dashed to her bed as she does that she hears her sisters footsteps get louder and louder, maybelle then pretended to sleep even though it's obvious that she stayed up the whole night with her eye bags showing

~creak~

Maybelle's sister examined the room after a while she went to Maybelle's computer table and she noticed the CPU was on

"It seems someone forgot to turn off the CPU~"

Her sister smirked and ran to maybelle, maybelle hurriedly tried to get off the bed but her left foot got stuck on the covers her sister then wrestled maybelle

"OW OW OW"

Maybelle bit her sister as hard as she could and her right forearm bled abit

"Dang sis! your bites getting stronger"

her sister was impressed not caring about the fact she was bleeding and maybelle was so mad at her since she keeps getting wrestled early in the morning just for staying up late

"Ughh! I hate you Madeline."

Maybelle glared at her sister while her sister just laughed it off and went downstairs to clean up the blood from the bite maybelle did.

maybelle finally got up and took a shower to open up the flower shop but first she did her makeup to hide the dark eyebags under her eyes from playing games the whole night before she opened the flower shop she first ate breakfast which was only toasted sandwich paired with hot milk because maybelle doesn't like coffee or tea.

"Alright..time for business."

Maybelle changed the sign to "open" and waited for customers to come in and pick their flowers, now the flower shop wasn't that famous so it's expected that only the locals in the area would be the only ones buying her flowers and not everyday has an occasion but it's a good thing Maybelle's sister Madeline is a boxer even though her sister isn't big yet she still gets paid a decent amount of money.

*RING RING*

the bell on top of the door ringed.

"A customer!"

maybelle was happy that someone came in and it was 2 old grandma's maybelle thought to herself that their friends or sisters

"How may I help you? and I haven't seen you here before..are you 2 new to the town?"

maybelle was curious about them and was excited that she saw 2 new faces because there aren't many foreigners visiting her shop

"Hello dear we were just wondering where you keep the flowers for marriage occasions , and to answer your other question..yes we are new here!"

The grandma that had a flower crown replied to maybelle

"Oh! my shop is actually color coded and you'll see the signs which color it is but since I'm here I'll tell you..it's there on the left side corner"

the grandma's were thankful and maybelle also congratulated the grandma's for the marriage of someone, as time passes by maybelle was starting to get bored and finally after 20 minutes the grandma's finally came back with a flower as a sample for what they want

"Hello dear we'd love to have these flowers our youngest daughter would love them!"

the grandma's were excited but maybelle didn't expect that they were a couple she then continued to check out their flowers and maybelle put it on her pickup truck for delivery tomorrow wedding

"Thank you for shopping here!"

maybelle was happy but sad that the 2 of them were only her customers for the rest of the day, at 5pm she finally closes and at the same time she is hoping for someone to just appear out of the blue and buy her flowers to help her sister pay the bills herself once in a while.

As Maybelle sulked to herself while rain was pouring down she heard a loud knock on the door she jumped and looked at the door only to see a man, she was wary of him

(Ugh..)

(Woah is that dude okay?)

Maybelle thought to herself while the man was still on the door wet, Maybelle comes and opens the door

"Took you long enough for me to drench in the rain some more."

Maybelle ignored him and let him in and was mad because she already mopped the floors

"Sir the store is closed. didn't you see the sign?"

Maybelle was ignored and the man was searching for a flower to give it to someone and after a few minutes he picked a flower

"Give me this."

He was shivering and looked dehydrated

"Okay I'll check it out for you and do you need water? you look almost like the skull emoji"

Maybelle snorted and checked out the flowers as she did that she was singing and the dude was mesmerized by her voice and so the dude took off his jacket and drank his water

"Here you are and I love your crocodile keychain also that'll be $15"

The dude was surprised for someone to notice his keychain and was happy and fluttered inside

"Thank you and here's the money"

After the dude got the flowers he left super sonic speed and Maybelle thought he was handsome but she thought that she wouldn't even have a chance with guys as she's just working in a flower shop but as she was thinking she saw the jacket of the dude and took it off from the hanger and let it dry out incase he comes back the next day.

Guy pov:

"What the..where's my jacket?! ugh nevermind"

The guy was driving so he couldn't think of where his jacket is because it's dangerous, as he went into his building soaking wet with flowers in his right hand and a box of chocolate on the left many workers looked at him weirdly but only after awhile as the guy was their boss

"Here's your damn flowers Olivia and chocolates."

The guy slammed the flower and chocolates on the desk while he had an ugly mad look on his face

"Jeez just how mean can you be? I'm your fiance."

the girl picked the flowers and smelled it only to notice it was a red chrysanthemum flower not roses

"UGH CHRYSANTHEMUM SERIOUSLY? ARE YOU DOING THIS ON PURPOSE MICO?"

The girl shouted while Mico stood confused and wondering what's wrong with the flowers, Olivia explained what it meant while eating the box of chocolates Mico gave her

"Guess that's a awesome gift to give you"

Mico smirked and laughed while the fiance shouted at him and cried ugly, mico's parents were disappointed in him and comforted the girl while Mico just stormed off his office and went to his mansion to take a rest.

As he tried to sleep he was thinking about the florist and his jacket but mostly the florist, it really made him happy the fact that she liked his crocodile keychain as he is a fan of reptiles especially crocodiles he actually was thinking of striking to have a conversation with her tomorrow

~next day~

Maybelle opened her shop like usual and waits for customers to get flowers, Maybelle doesn't know why she chose this job but all she knows is that she's doing it for her mom apparently.

As time passed it was finally lunch as she was cooking she heard the bell on top of the door rang

RING RING RING

She was confused because she swore that she put up the sign that says "closed" on the door for her to have lunch in peace, she thought it was her sister but her sister works day and night.

A small but deep "hello" was heard

"Hello? I'm sorry but we're closed at lunch times"

Maybelle went to check it out and saw it was the guy from yesterday

"Here for your jacket?"

Maybelle pointed at the coat hanger beside the stairs to their bedroom, Mico quickly went to get it while walking he was thinking of a conversation to make with her, he went up to her again and said..

"Didn't you know that the biggest reptile is a crocodile?......"

Mico smiled awkwardly and was hoping she wouldn't find him weird, Maybelle took a few seconds to answer

"Oh..well that's interesting as I like reptiles but don't know much about them..."

Maybelle also smiled at him and continues to tell him that she has to eat lunch and if he wants to have a conversation with her it would be when she's not eating, Mico let her eat and he waited at the right side of the cashier area where there was a steel bench
