It was a cold wintery night when I found a kitten in a tremendously large hay stack. "Hey there kitty," i'd say. "My names Edwin,whats yours?" I took the kitten in arms and shuffled my fingers around its neck to find a red collar. "Alright, whats it say!?" My little brother would yell. "This little kitten belongs to someone junior...we have to return this kitten home." I say petting the kitten. We were out looking for our very own kitten with black fur and white stripes. "We had no luck this night so maybe tomorrow." I say to my little brother. He sighs in disappointment and we begin on our way to find the home of the lost kitten.

We find our way back home to our cottage once we found the owner of the kitten. We were paid 5 gold pounds for finding the old mans kitten. We had also asked if he'd seen a cat that had almost looked like his, as expected he said no. My little brother cried in agony since had not found our lost little kitty. "I'm very sorry Junior maybe we'll find Cressi tomorrow..." I say quietly as to not wake our parents. "But what if we can't!?" He says in his british accent. "Then we will look again, it shouldn't be too hard to find him." I say fiddling with his long blonde hair. "Fine but...when we can't find him forever what will we do?" He says. I sigh and look at the raggedy ceiling. I slowly begin to close my eyes, "I'm sorry Junior but if we don't find him we cant have him..." I say exhausted. "Hmph-fine." He replies turning over. My mind goes blank as i wake up into a different room. "Hello?" I call out. My voice echoes far, i wonder if i'm only in a dream. Cressi runs toward me, tears fall down my face as i pick him up and hug him. "Cressi i missed you so much! What kind of journey did you go on?" I yell happily. Then everything fades and cressi is no longer in my arms. I wake up only to find it was a dream.

My mother calls us down for breakfast at the table. My little brother and i both hop up and get ready. "Mornin' mom!" We both yell as we run down the stairs. "Good mornin' boys. Eat your breakfast and then get on your way to school." My mom say as she sits our silver plates in front of us. "Alright." We both say looking at each other. My brother and i finish our breakfast and goodbyes to our parents. We head out the door and walk toward the woods. "Hey Edwin! Maybe we'll find Cressi on our way to school." Junior says in excitement. "Sorry little J but I already told you this yesterday...we can't afford to be late to school." I say steadily. "Ugh! Aw c'mon just this once Edwin!" He begs. I don't give in so i pull his hand and drag him to school so he doesn't fall behind. We enter the school and we go our seperate ways. "Hey Edwin! Over here!" Jack yells. Jack has been my number one best friend since primary school. "Hello jack. Whats new?" I say going to him. "I got a girlfriend and her friend really likes you i think you should go out with her." He says excitedly. "Hm..alright just tell me is her hair long and brown?" I ask. "Yeah, and she says 'shes so into blondies' like you!" He yells. "Well i guess i will check her out." I say grabbing a book from my bag. "I have to class so bye!" I say walking away.

I fall asleep in class as hot air is blowing into my face. I wake up in that same room again,as Cressi is yet again running toward me but this time there is a boy running behind him. The room grows dark and all I see is Cressi's bright green eyes. "Cressi come to me,quickly!" I yell. This time he stops in his tracks,I stand there confused. I feel a cold hand on my shoulder and i look back, there is a man standing there looking really sad. I try to ask if he's okay but I wake up to my teacher yelling my name and banging a book on my desk. "Ah-im very sorry for falling asleep, Mr.Brent." I say lifting my head suddenly. "You're sorry but yet you will do it again just like the other times." He says seemingly annoyed. I bow my head in guilt,though i may be very intelligent i have very low stamina.

Jack meets me outside the classroom door as i walk out. "Heh...finally i was waiting for ya'." He says leaning on the east wall. "Hi,what're you waiting for me for?" I reply. Honestly i am very confused on why he was waiting because he usually doesn't wait. "Schools over for the day and tomorrow is saturday...so i was wanderin' if you want to hang out..?" He says ending in a question. My mind begins racing to find out what we should do or if i should bring my brother along. "You can't bring your brother because it's a date with the gals." He stops me holding my shoulders and i nod my head. "Whats her name?" I ask as we begin walking again. "Lavinia Tyler for ya' and Janice Crane for me. Why? It's not like they're so important." He replies. "I need to know her name right?" I say being as logical as i can. Jack is always thinkin so low of women,they may only be good for cleaning and cooking and producing babies but we should treat them as good as we treat ourselves. I hate seeing any kind of woman being picked on by a man, it's honestly revolting. Though i also wouldn't do anything about it because it's none of my business.

We meet the girls after bringing my brother home. Lavinia had long brunette hair and dark brown eyes. She dressed overly formal, in a white dress, short heels, and a pearl necklace and bracelet. She looked flawlessly beautiful but of course i didn't say anything. We went to millions of places and had a bunch of fun. Lavinia and i ended up kissing on the ferry ride same with Jack and Janice. By the end of the day me and Lavinia came up with the conclusion that we'd start going out more regularly. Jack and Janice seperated from us while walking home and went their own way. I walked Lavinia to her home which was further from my home. "Thank you for walking me home,Edwin." She says in her kind voice. "Yeah,no problem. Also sorry for seeming like such a jerk today, you look really beautiful." I say finally able to let it out. "Aw\~ thank you, Edwin you're really a kind guy." She says hugging me. I hold her firmly around her waist, and lean in to kiss her but before i can her dad comes to the door. "Heh-uhm yeah so thanks for the tutoring today!"she says pushing me off. I smile, "you're welcome, i hope i can TUTOR you again sometime." I say while she giggles a bit. They walk inside and i start on my home. My little brother is probably really angry with me for not looking for cressi today. I am a little mad at myself too for the same reason but i really like this Lavinia girl. I get home and find little J glaring at me, i slightly smile and say, "i'm sorry lets look tomorrow." He frowns and walks to our room. I walk in after him to find him already sleeping on the left side of the bed. I crawl onto the bed slowly and close my eyes falling asleep slowly.

Once again in the tiny, dull, white room i see Cressi running toward me. What is this? I think to myself. Why does it only start here, but end somewhere else? Cressi jumps into my arms, i hadn't realized before but the little kitten was whimpering. I put Cressi down slowly to find blood left on my hands. "Cressi you're blee—" suddenly as i speak i feel a sharp pain hit my stomach. Cressi was fine but i was the one bleeding, what happened? Was the first thought in my mind. I suddenly see the man who had touched my shoulder once before. "Edwin, hunny wake up." The man suddenly turned into my mother and i awaken to find her standing over me. "Mom?" I say in a tone of confusion. "Breakfast is ready,dear." She says calmly helping me up. I stare at her as she walks out of the room, i could've sworn she was just crying. Is something wrong? I start asking myself all kinds of questions that i could barely try to answer. I walk out to the kitchen seeing everyone with a gloomy look. "Whats wrong?" I say sitting down. My mother proceeds to sigh as she makes my plate and my father stare at the table. "Where is junior?" I look at the empty seat across from me and then my father. "He's in our bedroom playing..." He says sort of awkwardly. "Hun,your father and i have decided to get a divorce." She says. My father looks up from the table slowly. I stand up almost as fast to make the chair fall over, "Why!?" I shout. "We just fell out of love, bud." Father says. My eyes start to tear up and i begin sobbing. "Thats not a good enogh excuse!" I run out in my pj's with no shoes or something to keep me warm. It's the beginning of winter and snow had just began to fall, as if to weep along with me in this cold weather. Fog begins to fall into my line of sight making it very difficult for me to see anything. I sit beside a huge tree and cry until my throat gets sore,my mind slowly drifts into another direction and i slowly fall asleep. This time i don't have a dream all i can see is clouds as if my eyes were open the whole time. I wake up to man shouting as if he were upset. "Someone please! Call a healer, my son is injured,please!" The man shouts. I squint my eyes to get a closer look at him, "Dad?" I ask. "Oh my god. Edwin, thank god. I've gotta get you to a healer, can you stand?" Father says. "Why wouldn't i be able to stand?" I jolt up from the ice cold ground and begin to feel dizzy. "You must've passed out and stabbed yourself with this sharp piece of glass." He says in a worried tone. "Sorry dad...but it hurts a lot, i don't think i can sta—" Once again i pass out only seeing clouds. I can still feel the pain but not as much. Suddenly i am yet again in the white room with Cressi running toward,but somethings different...
