It’s another normal day for anyone but for Alex it’s another challenge, Alex wakes up and find his daughter crying sitting next to him “J-Jen, baby what’s wrong ” Alex asks with worry

The toddler looks up at his father’s worried face “I’m sorry papa” Jen speaks and starts to cry, the toddler’s tears make her father more worried, it was as if the toddler didn’t stopped crying Alex would start to cry too

“Jen, baby papa’s not angry okay, now tell me what happened” Alex calmed down and asked Jen why was she crying unstoppably

The toddler speaks with teary eyes and unstable voice “P-papa, I- I wet the bed again, I’m sorry, I went to toilet but I don’t know how l wet my bed” The father knew she had one of those trap dreams, Alex started laughing at his toddler

“okay that’s it? ” he asked but the toddler seems to be unhappy with her papa’s reaction, “it’s not funny papa! I even showered on my own today” Jen shouts and starts to tear up, Alex hugs Jen “I’m sorry baby, i thought you hurt yourself so i got worried, papa doesn’t get angry on Jen wetting her bed cause Jen’s still a baby” says Alex and smiles at his daughter

“Jen’s not a baby anymore papa! I’m not a baby” Jenny stops crying but gets pissed by her papa’s words, Jenny holds her papa’s face with both of her tiny and and continues to speak “Jen will start school next year too, Jen’s not a baby papa, when Jen completes her study she will work at an office and papa will be proud of his Jenny ” these innocent words coming from his baby makes him tear up

“Yea, and when Jen wets her bed again her papa will clean it for her too” Alex make fun of Jenny, “Papa! It’s not funny” says the toddler, Alex laughs at his baby’s angry face and pats on her head “okay now papa will make breakfast and then papa will style Jen’s hair, okay? ” Jen nods in agreement

They both have breakfast together, Alex style Jen’s hair into cute little pigtails, Alex starts working on his webtoon and the baby goes upstairs to play with her toys

“Jen wants to play with papa” after a while Jenny asks her father to play with him while her papa is busy working on his new webtoon series “okay baby, papa will play with Jen when papa finishes his work”Alex speaks as he’s still looking at his screen

“Okay pap! Till then I will learn my spellings” Jen replies without feeling like her father is ignoring her, Jenny has always been a very patient and understanding child she doesn’t gets mad or act stubborn just like other kids

It’s afternoon now and Alex finally decides to take a break, he looks around but his daughter is nowhere to be seen, he gets unsteady and call out his daughter’s name “Jenny! ” but he doesn’t get a reply,he searches in the kitchen,in bathroom and at last Jen’s room where he finds Jen sleeping in her room with toys scattered everywhere

Alex let out a sigh of relief, he picks up Jen and put her on her bed, Alex sits besides his daughter, he talks to himself “how am i gonna raise you Jenny, i don’t even know what should i do to be a better father for you…but i promise i will do my best to make you the happiest person in my life” Alex kisses his daughter’s forehead “Rest well baby, l make you delicious sandwich for lunch” and he leaves the room

While making lunch he receives a call from his friend Nancy, “Hello, Nance how are you?” Alex asks right as he attends the call “ nothing much, how’s Jenny?” Nancy replies

“ seriously nance do i even exist for you? You never ask what I’m going through ” Alex says jokingly, “Oh my, seriously are you even jealous of a child?” Says Nancy

“Oh God! come on nance she’s my daughter ” replies Alex “okay so where’s my little baby?” Nance asks “I don’t know about your’s but MY baby’s resting right now, she can’t talk to you” Nancy is quite disappointed cause she wanted to tell Jen about the new cartoon movie that she wanted to watch together with her “okay i will let her rest for now, so what’s going on with you kiddo??”

“Well you see Nance, I feel like the worst father cause i can’t even spare some of my time to take Jen out on picnics and neither can l play with her, she’s gonna feel like I’m ignoring her but the work burden is too much ” says Alex

“Hey dude don’t act so hopeless why don’t you hire a babysitter for Jenny, the babysitter will take care of Jen in your working hours so you can focus on your work, like that you will finish your task quickly and you will have plenty of time for Jen in the evening ” Nancy suggests Alex

“You are quite right but what about picnics…” Alex sounds like a little child when he says this “Are you serious right now? You do have weekends man, oh my lord,how dumb you can be!! And I will send you some contacts of babysitters so now don’t worry about how would you find a babysitter,aight kiddo?” Nancy whines

“Yeah! That’s right weekends! Anyways I will talk to you later right now i have a lot of work to do, bye I’m hanging up, don’t forget about the babysitters!” Alex hangs up on Nancy cause he’s too excited to finish is work early and contact the babysitters

“What the- did that brat really hung up on me just like that..? I swear if it wasn’t for Jenny i would have murdered him already ” Nancy gets really pissed at Alex

“Luke, wake up! You are gonna be late for your uni again!! ” Luke’s mom shouts from downstairs, “Gimme 3 more minutes mom…” says Luke and doze off again, after some time he wakes up,checks the time and “WHAT?!” He shouts “it’s 7:35 already? I’m so doomed if i don’t get to class by 8”

He quickly got out of bed, get changed and goes downstairs, “Mom! Mom! Hand me over a piece of bread please ” says Luke “just a piece of bread? Oh my child, breakfast is important for your health, take a seat i have prepared fried eggs for you” the mom replies “mom l swear l would definitely have breakfast tomorrow but now l’m running late ” says Luke

“Fine fine, here take the juice too” the mom says “Thanks mom! Love you so much!! ” top replies and make a run

Luke gets late cause he missed his bus “shit shit shit!! I’m so done today Professor definitely won’t let me in his class” Luke thinks,as soon as he arrived to the class he finds the classroom empty “wha-what..? I must be dreaming, why’s no one here? It’s definitely 8:30” He thinks

“Hey Luke!” Calls Jay, Luke turns back to look at Jay, “why’s no one here today?i thought l was late for the class” Luke asks Jay as he is walking towards Jay, “You really have a bad memory Luke, didn’t i informed you yesterday that we have our first class at 9:30 am ” Jay tells Luke

“Seriously man, why am I so forgetful ” Luke squats down and sighs in relief, “But why are you here an hour early?” Luke questions Jay, “Nothing much, I just wanted to visit the library today” Jay answers

“Alright but what about our summer vacations? When are they starting? Cause I can’t keep up with studies anymore” says Luke “They are starting by the end of this week, l will see you in class, I’m kind of busy right now” Jay answers Luke while making is way towards library

After class Luke gets a call from an unknown caller “unknown number?” Luke thinks, he answers the call “Hello? Who’s this?” Luke asked as he answered the call

“Hi,is this Luke ?” says the Unknown caller “Yeah this is Luke speaking ” replies Luke “are you a babysitter?” Asks the unknown caller, Luke gets really confused at first but then he remembers how he applied to be a babysitter as a joke weeks ago “Yes, I am a babysitter, how can I help you?” Luke asks

“Perfect, I wanted a Babysitter for my daughte- Oh my Jen! Don’t turn on the stove, excuse me please, you are gonna burn yourself Jen! ” the unknown caller seems to be having a little trouble with his child, Luke chuckles “He really needs a babysitter ” and says under his breath

“Hello?” Comes from the unknown caller “Yes?” Replies Luke “I’m sorry about that earlier, I had a little trouble, anyways when can you come to babysit my daughter?” Asks the unknown person “Depends on my shift, do you want a babysitter for nighttime or daytime?” Luke questions

“Daytime” replies the caller “Okay, I would be available for daytime shifts by the end of the week, if you like you can contact other babysitter ” says Luke “Okay but it’s fine you can start babysitting my daughter by next week, I would send you the location” says the caller “Okay,” Luke keeps it short with the unknown person

After hanging up Luke texts Jay to meet him at a cafe, Jay texts back saying “Okay :/ ”

At café

“You are finally here Luke” Jay says with a serious face “yea sorry I’m a little late” answers Luke “I don’t understand why every time you want to meet me and you show up late Luke ” Jay is pissed at Luke now “l am sorry my lord, that will never happen again”Luke replies while taking his seat

“Alright get to the point, why you wanted to meet me?” Jay is pretty straightforward with his question “Why can’t I even miss you now, hun? ” Luke says while pouting, Jay makes a disgusted face and says “This…this is when i feel like killing you Luke, if you have nothing to say to me, don’t waste my time, I’m leaving ”

“W-wait a minute Jay, I seriously have to talk to you” Says Luke “yea? And what is it?” Jay questions “starting next week I will work as a babysitter, finally no more boring vacations ” Luke answers

“No, seriously don’t do that you will kill a poor baby” Jay says with worry “Jay… Do you think I’m that cruel?” Luke is disappointed in Jay “not cruel but stupid and have you ever even held a baby?” Jay asks “No but you can’t do anything if you don’t try it for first time right? ” Luke says innocently

“What am I gonna do with you Luke,A baby is a small human, if you kill a baby you will kill a human” Jay explains while Luke is listening carefully “so babysitting is dangerous cause you can kill a mini version of a fully grown Human” Jay continues

-“Stop being dramatic Jay I won’t feed the baby crazy things but” Luke stops for a moment ”how about a jaw breaker? Sounds fun right?”

-“You are an idiot” Jay whines,

then Jay starts to explain things to Luke l

"You need to feed the baby soft foods like bananas, baby food, don't forget milk and stuff like that, I hope you won't make someone's baby sick "

Luke replies "Alright, I get it, I'm not that stupid"

Luke checks the time again “Alright buddy see you tomorrow right now I have to go home” Luke says and make his way out of the café “A f-ing idiot ” Jay mutters and take a sip of his iced coffee
