How did we end up like this? I know that he is not bad, but why did he kill him? Disappointed by his actions and wickedness. Fresh memory, fresh nightmare. Why? Why did you kill him? Is it because of anger? Or you just want to take revenge? I know there is still goodness inside you, Valir. You just don't know how to control your madness. How I wish the past be past... And let us be what we want to be. You are born to be a fighter, a killer, and a superior. But the time I have with you is exciting and I don't feel like I am lonely. You make me feel that I am your one and only. How could... How could I fight you?

Everyday is like a nightmare. Please come back to me, I need you so bad. You dont know what I am feeling right now. All I could think of is where to find you. Training alone is meaningless. Time is like a bomb that is ticking and ready to explode. I don't like this place, I want to be free and be united with you again.

"Vale, where are you? I dont want to play this game anymore!" Valir was shouting and exhausted. They have been playing over four hours. Vale is a good hider, though he is quite an eye* when finding someone.

Giggling behind a tree, there was Vale hiding. He cant find me here, hehe. Valir got tired and sat down. "I give up, Vale! You win. Now come out." Valir sighed and laid his head down on the grass. Vale takes a peek and slowly walks towards Valir. Though, Valir notices little footsteps coming towards him. Valir smirk and stand stood. Vale got shock and quickly away. But Valir was fast enough to catch him. "Where are you going?" He smirk. As Valir grabbed Vale, he accidentally tripped himself over a rock and they both stumble down the hill. Vale screams, so does Valir. Bruises and cuts were everywhere.

After the crash, Valir was putting bandages on Vale's soft skin." Heh, I am so sorry, Vale." Valir apologize and scratches his head, feeling guilty and embarrassed.

"Hahaha, it is alright, Valir. You don't have to say sorry. Anyway, thank you for cleaning my bruises and cuts." Vale reassures Valir that he is okay and he should not worry about it. Valir know that Vale is badly hurt, he know that Vale is just resisting the pain so he don't have to worry.

" You know..."

" .....?"

" I wish we could stay like this forever... No works to worry about\, just play and have fun." Valir was so optimistic and that the future will stay like as if nothing will happen in the near future. "and... I wish you are... *mine*" Valir did not say the last word. Flustered and was sweating. Valir got himself lost in his own thoughts and keep on blushing.

"Valir... Hey, are you okay? Your face is so red." Vale was waving his hand infront of Valir. That made Valir snap out and came back to reality. His fantasy about him and Vale was taking over his mind. "Hey, are you okay, Valir?" Vale asked again.

"Oh! Umm... Yeah, I am okay. Just... Just forget what I have just said to you. Anyway, let's go. Teacher might have been looking for us."

"Okay!" Vale giggled in reply.

(How I wish you are mine. If loving you is not a sin, I will eternally cherish you. Vale, I... Love you.)

Chapter 2: I thought...

"You must learn how to control your magic and know how to use it." Teacher Gord is teaching us how to control our magic well. "One slight mistake will lead to disaster." As he continue teaching us the way, he shows us that magic follows emotion. Not to mention, if your emotion is strong, the stronger the magic.

Valir and I are taking a private lesson from a strong arcane mage. He said, we must balance our emotion so that our magic so that it would not lead to a catastrophe.

Everyday we train our powers and cultivate every two hours. Sometimes, class is boring and we always cultivate our magic. Valir sometimes distract me by making sick jokes, and that make the class not boring.

Valir actually does not care about the lesson, what he cares about is that i am with him.

I am so grateful that I have him with me. The warmth, the feeling of being cared by someone. How I wish this will last forever.

I and Valir always stick together and don't want to be separate with each other. We were like peanut butter and jelly.

We cultivate together, play together. The feeling of having a friend that always there for you.

< Present >

I sighed and look outside. The world became boring without you. "Ten years.... Why??" I don’t want to be emotional. But I kept on remembering how you destroyed the academy, on how you take revenge, on how you perished them with raging flame.

"I thought we were friends...!" Tears are slowly falling down my eyes. I cherished you, and it bothers me that you will never come back, that you will hate me forever. I know father did not do it, he's just defending himself.

I know you know that your father were the one to blame, but anger gets the best of you. Now, you are gone, and I am here, all alone. "I thought... You..." I can't stop myself, I missed you so much and I want to find you. You are the most coolest friend I have. Now you are gone.

/ The past is not what it seems like now... I thought you will come back.... I thought you would not betray me! I hate you! But.... In my heart, you are still the same./

"Valir... I don’t want to fight you. But, you leave me no choice. I am sorry. I cannot believe it... I hope that those memories in the past did not happen. If so, will we still be together?"
