Hello my name is Gray Johnson , I know right? who would name their child 'gray' well I know who, my parents I just keep wondering what the **** they were thinking naming me gray, but after a few years when they gave birth to my little sister, it was then I knew my parents were crazy about colors course they name her gold, sigh "crazy" that's what I feel anytime I think about it.

Sorry I strayed from the story line a bit, so I was planning on telling the story of my life, grey Johnson. I don't really remember much from my hmmm babyhood yeah yeah let's call it that, babyhood. sounds weird and kinda cool just like me. Ok story time so my babyhood is the typical storyline of babies doing what they know how to do, you know? eat, cry, sleep and poop just the mundane things.

I didn't start to be aware of what the hell I was doing till I was 3 going to 4 but the memories are kinda hazy, there are a few things I remember from that time those things are, where my room was where my parents room was and how it looked where my Lil sis room was well it was her room to be, I remember the color of the living room and kitchen that's about it for me when I was three.

Oh I also remember there was a back door that lead to a narrow staircase. I get goosebumps anytime I think of the back that place traumatized me I'll talk about it later that's a story for another day.

Once I clocked 4 I started going out of the apartment and started hanging out with kids my age, we had about 5 neighbors Two on the first floor , one on the second floor and one in the back building, the neighbors beside us were not usually in the country so let count them out and just say we had four neighbors, my lil sis was friends with the kids living directly under us.

I don't really know them course I never played with them all I knew about them was they were older than me if you're wondering why I said they, I said that because they're twins yeah twins what are the odds I'll have a neighbor that gave birth to twins, but I was friends with the one of the kids behind the main building, the boy was chill and we had almost the same mentally.

The boy was chill but he had an elder brother that was mentally unstable if I can remember correctly the dude always lashed out at the most unexpected times I can still remember vividly the time the mentally unstable boy had one of his episodes he kept shouting saying he was going to stab his mom, the people in the neighborhood even started a rumor saying he was possessed by a demon.

"pffff people and their superstition or should I say people always think anything abnormal is paranormal"

After that incident my parents stopped me from going to my friend's house but we still played with each other when we met it the parking lot or when his elder sis took us to the park.

I didn't make a mistake and write sister instead of brother don't be confused he has two elder brothers and one elder sister.

Oh silly me I forgot to mention his name well his name is Lester now if you're wondering why I just used a present tense for the past that's because Lester is still alive take note authors. Alot of you make this mistake.

Now where was I 'hmmmm' oh yeah I was talking about Lester, I can't remember much about Lester so let's just skip to when I started school, I'll talk about it in the next chapter and I'm very sorry for my inconsistency let's just hope things get better in the next chapter.

P.S: I wrote this chapter for a month at least I tried 697 words don't ask if I counted it my note app counts for me let's try and make it one thousand, you guys should check out my other novel overlord I'll be changing the name to hell breaker that sounds much better maybe if you guys give me some comments I might start writing it again I lost motivation 742 words now I don't think we can make it a thousand I'm bored already and don't be discouraged of me not updating this novel I've got the second chapter kind of ready

Hello again thanks for reading I know the last chapter was trashy but you still kept on read for that you have my gratitude. I'm going to be writing this chapter in a first person and third person pov.

"Gray! Gray" that was the first thing I heard that day, I wasn't sure what was going on.

"Hey gray wake up you'll be starting school today" after I heard that I felt a warm hand on my face I knew the person that intruded my sleep was my mom.

"Huh, good morning mom, school? Really?"

"Good morning grey yeah school! that's why I sent you guys too bed early.

"Come on tiger let's get you ready for school and you sis ready for the nani"

After I had my bath and breakfast, my mom helped me get into my uniform she told me I should go to the car my dad was waiting for me there.

"Good morning dad"

"Oh, good morning tiger are you excited about going to school"

" Yes dad I can't wait to make new friends"

" That's my boy now let's get you to school"

I don't know how long we spent on the road but it felt extremely fast I was feeling nervous and excited at the same time.

When we got to the schools parking lot my dad got down from the car and carried me on his neck carried my back bag and lunch box in his left hand while closing the car door with his right hand.

I saw kids my age with their parents some crying some begging their parents not to leave them some excited urging their parents to walk faster.

Although I was excited I didn't urge my father to walk faster.

After getting to the front of the school building my dad dropped me from his neck and handed my bag and lunch box to a lady standing outside the school building the contained my class.

"Ok grey now you're a big boy so you've got to go to school and learn, I want you to be a good boy and do whatever you're teacher says ok"

"Yes dad" I nodded my head.

"That's my boy now this nice lady over here is going to take you to your class room" my dad said while squatting and looking at my face.

"Ok grey I've got to go I'll see you when school is over.

As I watched my dad walk back to his car I felt someone nudge my shoulder I looked back and saw the lady holding my bags.

"Come on gray let's get you to Class"

When we arrived at my class they were already some kids sited waiting for the teacher, the nice lady lead me to second sit in the first row a gave me my bags(my lunch box and my backpack) if ur wondering why I took my bags to class it's because I get paranoid if my stuffs are in my sight

While waiting for the class to start I decided to speak to my neighbors on my right was this kid with tears streaming down his eyes on my left was a cute girl I decided to ignore the boy, he was probably going through a lot of stress 'hmm must be his first time leaving his parents' I turned my face to the girl.

"Hello"

She looked at me and give me a gentle smile before replying "hello"

"Is this ur first day in school"

"Hehe, Yes of course silly it's everyone's first day In school"she replied

" Oh silly me I forgot"I scratched my head with my little hand

After the short interaction things became awkward, since I was the one that started the conversation I had the responsibility of carrying it

" What's ur name"

" Me? "

" Yes you"

" I'm Amanda, what about you what's ur name?"

"Nice to meet u Amanda I'm grey"

" Huh? Grey? Isn't that a color? "

" Yes it is I'm named after the color grey"

Suddenly the bell rang and a beautiful young lady walked into the class she had a gentle smile on her face and gave off a cheerful vibe.

When she got to the class room board she clapped her hands to get our attention and began speaking.

"Good morning children, how are we doing today I'm going to be ur class teacher till ur done with grade school, ok?"

" Okay" everyone in class said in unison.

" Now let's get down to business, were first going to all come out to the front of the class and introduce our selfs I'll start first, you can call miss mary, ok now ur turn" she pointed at the kid in the front row sitting near the window.

When I looked at the boy I saw flash of excitement and confidence in his eyes, at that moment I should have known the kid was going to be an extreme extrovert the crazy kind I went and got close to him 'sigh' but u can't blame me I was nothing but a child.

He walked to the front of the class and introduced himself

"Hello everyone my name's cole Newman, I'm very happy to be here, I hope to make a lot of new friends and learn new things" He walked back to his sit with his chest puffed up.

"Wow cole that was an amazing introduction do we all agree class"

"Yes!" The whole class yelled excitedly and yes I was among them.

The introduction was going smoothly Till I got called up, I walked to the front of the class under the anticipating gazes of my fellow classmates, When I got there I first greeted miss mary

"Wonderful morning to you miss mary"I used the fanciest word in my vocabulary so miss Mary would have a good impression of me.

"Oh, wonderful morning to you Young sir" miss Mary responded with a small bow the whole class giggled.

"Good morning to you my fellow classmates my name is gray Johnson and it's a pleasure to be here, I hope we can all become friends and learn together" I puffed my chest out as I spoke and raised my chin a bit to look dignified and noble. [ I know I know it's a bit over the top for a 4 years old but give me a break I'm the freaking protagonist I've got to stand out]

Miss Mary looked at me in her eyes was a glint of surprise.

"Well what do we have here. a fine and cultured Young Man"she said while smiling.

" You can return to your sit now young sir" she said with a teasing smile.

I walked back to my sit with a proud and goofy smile under the cheerful gaze of my classmates.

The next person up was the crying kid.

He didn't want to introduce him self but under the persuasion of miss Mary and the class he finally gave in and said his name, Nathan.

The class carried on with the induction and after about an hour we were done nothing note worthy happened after that we just played around and got to know each other until the school day was over.

'ahh finally it was time to go home' I said my Good byes to my new friends Amanda, cole and Nathan.

Let's end the chapter here and I'm very sorry for not uploading this chapter. The chapter has been ready since the 9th of December 2022, I actually did upload the chapter but I deleted Manga toon while the chapter was still under review, me deleting the app must have messed up the systems algorithm and somehow got it terminated.
