High school, the place where lots of young people finding their love. They easily talking to each other and starting to having a feeling to each other. They called it love. Then the question is, what is love? Can you get love just like that?

These days people like to say that "I'm in love with her or him." so easy. But do they really feel the love? Can they express it with the person they love? They usually express their feelings such as "Can you go out with me?" or "Do you want to be my girlfriend or boyfriend?" and etc. But the answer themselves are various, such as "I like you too, okay then." or "I'm sorry i like someone else." or even "Sorry i hate you.". People call it express their love to others. But is it really like that?

Of course not, that's all bullshit. People have been calling themselves that their in love but they only looking for their appearence. And the other? They only saying bullshit that they will love him or her forever and not gonna cheat on them. But the reality? Lots of them break up their relationship before even a month. Why? They only care about their partner's feeling but they don't understand them.

In this world, there are a "good person" they say. But what is the meaning of that? If a"good person" can hurt you even more than "bad person", then what is the meaning of "good person"? The answer is no other than good person is the same as bad person or even worse.

Other than love, they also have the word "friend". Friend? It's a term for someone close to us. Then what is boyfriend or girlfriend? Even more closer? But in what aspect? Love? Time? Feeling?

Have you felt that all of that is nonsense, friends and other?

Do you know what is feeling then?

I feel that it's all nonsense. The only reality in this world is to live until you die. But before they die, they want to do something. But then the question is, how do you live in this world?

A lot of people say that you need friend to live, you need to love to live, you need family to live, you need money to live. All of that stuff? For real? We need to depend on that kind of stuff?

For me to live in this world, you only need to follow the rules that "stuff" has arranged for us.

But actually there is one thing that interests me in this life. And that is a win, winning everything i do. I have never lost any competition i have taken part in since i was in grade 4. I won everything, that's what makes me hated by others. I have never given others the chance to win. Even though that was enough, i still kept trying to win again.

My parents say that my ability is a curse. They themselves are also genius and rich, so it's only natural that i have that curse too.  Do i regret having this ability? Not really, as long as i'm happy with what i'm doing, i will do it.

It's 6:01 A.M in the morning

"Don't forget your bag okay?"

I nodded to the woman and left the house.

This is the day I leave home and go to my new school. It's been 15 years i've live with my parents and now finally i can leave them. It's been a boring life after all, always study and study every day.

I got into a taxi and left everything that had passed. I finally enroll in high school, the place where society begin to broke their mind and doing every thing they like without any hesitation. Smoking, bullying, dating, or even having a sex. That's high school period in this decade.

They begin to destroying themselves and affecting other to do the same thing. Youngsters nowadays only care about their appearance and their romantic youth. Study for future? That's what the ancients say, they say. "High school is the best moment in your life", "You don't need to study hard, you also need to find love in high school." they say. But then, why when they are hurt because of love they don't care about other stuff but their feelings? "Oh because i need to enjoy my youth.". That bullshit, every thing is connected to their "youth". What is their purpose in life? To find love? To make a lot of friend? To enjoy youth?

For me you can't enjoy your life, because it just a stopover. But I still do what I like even though it means nothing. "You don't know how long you gonna live, so why don't you enjoy your life?" i heard that for many times. But once you enjoy your life then what? Happiness? One day we all gonna die and we are back to dust. "Your life is horrible, you didn't even enjoying your life." Then if you happy but you die, are you happy? A dead person can't be happy at all, even though other people give you happiness and you happy with them. Once they die it's all over. Others who give you happiness started to crying and the sadness will come over and take over their body. Then can you say that is happiness? People will make you happy for a second but they also will make you sad for an hour.

And my another "boring" day has just begin. I enroll in the best school in the country they say. But then, what makes it the best? Facilities? Probably the teacher? The curriculum? Well that all is no longer matter to me. I just need to graduate faster so that i can sleep all day in my house. That's life, to sleep and dreaming a good things that is impossible in this world. Probably one day i will get my super power like superman and when that day come, i will leave earth and travelling the universe alone.

"We're here kid, do i need to help you with the stuff?" the taxi man offered me help, that's what they say kindness. But it's all because of his job, if he didn't work as a taxi man he would never help other like this.

"No need, i'll help myself." i get out from the taxi and take my stuff and went to the school hall for the opening ceremony.

My first impression is this place is so crowded, even though it's less crowded than my middle school. I still can count how many people in here, thirty, no forty. But then look at them, holding hand together, chit chat and it's really loud. Very annoying really, but well it's their "life" i don't want to draw attention. I'm just gonna live my high school life like the wind flow.

I keep walking to the school hall. It's very big, the school hall it self bigger than my house even though my house has two floor.

"Good morning! Welcome new students, please take a sit." said the man with crazy white beard.

Like Captain Jack Sparrow huh, cosplaying?

"Today is a new school year, let's start with applause for all of you for being able to enter our school. "

Clap.. clap.. clap... clap..

It's really noisy...

"Then i will tell you how many students is registring in our school. There is 12809 students who register in our school. But only 100 is accepted, and now that 100 students is divided to four class. And that is 10 MIA 1, 10 MIA 2, 10 IIS 1, 10 IIS 2. Each class has 25 student and student already choose their majors in the entry test."

I choose MIA, that consist of Pyshics,Chemistry, and Biology as the main subject. Why i choose MIA? People say that it's really hard, but in reality it's the same as IIS. I choose MIA because i know there are less noisy people in MIA. That's what i know and i hope. I don't care how hard is the lesson, as long i can sleep it's okay.

"And now there is a school tradition, the best student in the entry test will have a speech right here right now. The student's name is Haruse Lee, please stand up and please give him an applause. Before he give you all speech, i will tell his achievement, he win the national chess 2017, 2018, 2019 tournament, that is three year in a row. Give him an applause."

Clap.. clap.. clap..

"There's genius in our school!"

"He is handsome too!"

It's noisy again, oh my god. My youth has just destroyed, i've been humiliated in the first day of my high school life. Ah, why me?

"He also ranked first in the national exam, with all his score is 100 a perfect score in all subject. He also won the 'International Pyshics Competition' give him an applause everyone for his achievements."

clap... clap... clap...

"Really? International?"

"He is an alien!"

"100 in all subject? Did he cheat?"

Ah it's doomed. And how did they know all my achievements? I told every organizer of the competition that never tell any one and don't spread this to media. But they do spread it huh, well then.

"We are happy to have a student like you Haruse Lee, and now you can come up here to give your friends a motivational speech. Who know they will do the same and become your rival?"

They all laughing, they all look at me. I don't have any more choice, well then.

I touch the mic.

Ngiing.

"Ouch my ear."

Ah this is troublesome really. "Okay, my name is Haruse Lee. I want to say thank you for every one especially our parents-" parents huh. "because of them i can go to this school and meet with all of you. For this three year, let's have fun every one." I fake my smiled in front all of them.

"Wooo, the genius!"

Bz bz bz bz bz bz

They all are too loud, too noisy, very annoying.

"Well then, for the school rules will be explained by your homeroom teacher later. So for now all of you go to the dormitory, take the key in the receptionist and go back to the class at 8 A.M. Good morning every one."

Ah at least i can go to my room, i hope it's a single person room.

I walk to the boy's dormitory, it's actually beside the girl's dormitory. Very close and very dangerous it is. Because i don't have anyone to talk to, i walk to the dormitory alone even though every one seems to happy having me in the school but also the same time i feel like they also envy me. They scared of me genius and my talent. Well that's what i wanted, solo high school boy life. Without any problems in my life and just go to sleep every day that's the best thing to do.

"Here, your room number is 300."

Huaah the last number huh, is that luck? I got room number 300 from 300.

"Thank you."

Room number 300, it's here.

I open the door and find out that the room is pretty simple. It has bathroom, bedroom and a cool set of table. It's pretty good room for me. The bed is also really comfy i can sleep all day long here.

Well because i already done packing too. Sleep right now is not a bad choice but maybe library is a good choice too. It's still 7.32 AM so there's still time.

I leave my room and go to the library. The library is near the dormitory only a few minutes and you're here.

It's pretty big library, i can see there's like 50.000 books in here or even more.

Now, because i'm a high school student, i need to find a book to read. Probably in psychological section.

"Hmm, ah here it is. 'My Time' by Kima Kimi. It's only one here, lucky-" i take the book but at the same time i saw another hand that also wants to take the book. "ah."

A beautiful girl with her long black hair also wants to take the book. She is beautiful, at least for me.

"Oh i'm sorry." she said.

"Ah, no problem. You can take the book if you want." I talked to a girl! It's been a year since I last talked to a girl.

"Ah, thanks. I'm surprised that actually someone is looking for this book too."

Yeah me too also. This book is not that popular but lots of people said that this book is a hidden gem. I also want to read the book but she got it first, well then.

"Yeah, i want to read this book. But if you want to read it first, just take it. I can read it sometime later."

"Ok, thank you..." her voice shrunk when she saw my face.

"What's wrong?"

She looked surprised when she saw my face. What's wrong with my face? Maybe she knows that i'm ranked first in the test huh. Well any one will get surprised too, this is a normal case already.

"N-nothing. Alright, if we meet again i'll give you this book."

"Ah ok."

Then i walked away from her. I'm thinking that i should probably go to class now. It's 7.40 A.M now.

Ah i forgot to tell her my name or maybe she already know my name?

"Anu, my name is Haruse Lee a new student, MIA major."

"Ah, yeah i forgot to tell my name..." her voice got smaller again. "My name is Asane Lim, grade 11, MIA major too."

"Asane Lim. Okay, nice to meet you." so she is older than me huh.

"Yeah, nice to meet you Haruse Lee."

"Nice to meet you, ceh."

Ah, so this is how girls talk. This is very different from boys, i myself rarely talk to men myself so i don't know how boys talk. At least now I know how to avoid people who want to be my friend, especially girl. Girls talk with cute voice just to attract boys. So now i know how to counter it, of course with my specialty.

Alright now is the time for class. I don't want to make a trouble in my first day.

"Haru it's been a long time. Do you still remember me?"

Every time i go to school, my first destination is library. I've been doing that since i was at elementary school. That's because i don't have friend. I always stay away from every one else, because i know they just want to cheat by copying my homework. When i was middle school, i ever throw away my classmate's book because she wants to cheat. Summary, i don't have a friend or place in the school. That's why i always go to library. When it's break time, i always eat alone in the park.

It's 7.56 A.M. Well, i still can make it. And i'm not that late too.

I walk into the classroom, it's X MIA 1. I can hear that this class is very noisy.

"Morning."

"Hey what's up."

bla bla bla

Lots of people in here are just annoying, why do they need to check their friend in this class? They can go outside and talk outside, too noisy and annoying really.

There's an empty seat in the far corner, that's a nice choice for me. I sat down and put my bag in the desk hanger.

Then a boy with wavy hair comes to my place and puts his hand into my table.

"So you're the number one huh."

What the heck is this boy. Mah, it's better to keep silent for now.

"Oy, i'm talking to you. So that's how you're playing huh."

Dammit annoying, this why i hate people other than me. There's 25 student in this class, why did he talk to me. "What do you want?"

"So that's the real you. You're not looking for a friend don't you."

Ah, finally someone who know what i wanted. For a long time, i've been waiting to this moment.

My classmate when i was at middle school, they always forcing me to talk or something but i always ignore them. So there's some student that doesn't like me and they tried to bully me. They took me to a quiet place and started to punch me and cursing me.

For me, i don't really care about it. It's only a small pain. They don't know the real pain is.

"Thank you for understanding me." i replied him with mocking tone.

I didn't know if he realized what i mean or not. But i'm saying with that tone so he can't get away from me.

"I'm sorry Haruse, but-" he suddenly change his tone into a scary tone. "i'm not that kind of person."

Hm, interesting guy. I'll put him into my list, troublesome classmate. For now i'm just gonna ignoring him until the teacher enter the class.

"Nah, Haruse." He kept calling me repeatedly. Meanwhile i continued to ignoring him. "My name is Rio Asadi, nice to meet you. From now on, i'm going to be the top."

Heh, he say that he can take my place? Well actually i don't really care and i'm happy if there's someone actually can take my place. If he can take my place, he gets the fame and i'm free from that curse. But there's no way i'm giving him my place just like that.

"Well nice to know that. As long as you can defeat me in 1 subject, you win."

He laugh and hold my shoulder. "You know? Your pride, your fame, your place, all of it, i'm going to take it."

People say that you can get every thing you want if you work for it. But i don't believe in it. Why? Because you can get every thing you want if you ask.

"Well then, let me see. What you can do then, Rio."

This is the first time anyone has challenged me since I was in 7th grade. The results were very bad. He challenged me who can get a score of 100 at most. He got two scores of 100 and I got a score of 100 in each subject, it was very easy. He went to the library every day, he asked the teacher many times and did everything he could to get 100. But too bad, his opponent is me.

"Huh, don't disappoint me, number one." and then he left me and went to his seat.

Finally, i'm free from stuffs.

"Okay everyone sit down please."

Fu... what... how long do we talk? Give me a break man.

"Finally it's started. Let me introduce myself. My name is Julia, you can call me Miss Julia. My subject is math, and i'm also your homeroom teacher."

"Woah she's beautiful."

"We got a beautiful homeroom teacher."

Every one seems to be happy huh. But, her mask is yet to be revealed. This teacher is sucks, a good lier, a trash. She hid herself and will open herself at the right time. She will pounce on anyone who has fallen into her trap. Well then, that's make her intersting.

"Calm down everyone, so today I will explain the rule in this school. It's a simple rule and you must obey it. This school uses point system. If the teacher or students causing a problem, then their points will increase. Your point right now are 0, you can see it in the tablet that this school gives you. There is no way to reduce points if your points increase. And that point is valid for 3 years you attend school. You know this school has a lot of free facilities, right? If your points increase, the quality and quantity of school facilities that you can use will decrease. Like how many facilities you can access or how long the school gives you time to go out. And if your points are 2% of your attendance at school, you will be expelled from school. The example is if you got 1 point when you already attend 30 days in this school. If you multiply it 30 days multiply by 2% then it's 0,6. 1 is more than 0,6 so you will be expelled. Simple rule right?"

"What the heck was that?"

"Is that a rule?"

The atmosphere in the class became chaotic, almost almost everyone seems surprised and frightened by the rules.

That's a good rule, very interesting really. I've never seen a rule like this before and it's still boring.

"Like i said, we all are equal now. If i'm doing something wrong, you can report me with the prove and i will get the point."

People in this world know how to make a rule, but they don't know how to do it. They just gonna eat their own saliva. That's always happened every day in this world. So even though there are rules, people will not always obey the rules.

But the thing is, what should we do? Obeying the rules? Don't obeying the rules? The answer is simple, obey and don't obey the rules.

"Okay every one, open your tablet. There's material there you can see and learn it from there. And there's also test today, so prepare youself. I will give you 10 minutes to read the material, good luck everyone!"

"Hehh??"

"Test?"

Again, this witch..

"You can do everything you want. Then i'm going to leave the room, i will be back a minute before the test started."

And then Julia went out from the room  just like that. She doesn't really leave but she observe every student in the class, how they study, how they interact to each other and etc.

Haruse knew that he had been observed. Even though he didn't really care, he still felt uncomfortable.

Huh, really sucks when someone watching you like that. Maybe they didn't know they've been observed by her. Look at this situation, everyone panics and they look like they can't study.

"So Haruse, this can be our chance to prove it right?" the man from beside him talking to Haruse.

Haruse keep ignoring him like a mosquito.

"You, you will regret ignoring me Haruse. You know that i'm number one at my school? I got 1068 score out of 1100 in middle school final exam. I know your score is perfect but i will beat you this time."

"Perfect, how about this. Even though my score is higher than yours, if our scores differ by 2 points. Then you win and you can ask anything from me."

"DAMN IT, you are too arrogant. I will destroy your arrogant, remember that." his voice was so loud that the whole class stared at Haruse and Rio.

"And i'm waiting for it." Haruse smiled.

The school bell rings and Julia comeback to the class.

"Okay everyone please sit down and the test will started."

Everyone sit down to their own sit and open the tablet and start working on the questions.

Everyone seems confident, that's an elite school for you. Everyone here seems to be at the top when they were in middle school. But I don't know any of them, i never know their names. Maybe it's because I don't care about other people's achievements.

"29 minutes left."

"Eh? Only 30 minutes?"

"For real?"

But if you i again, they don't seem to be able to stand it under heavy pressure. They can get high score when they are in a good condition, but under heavy pressure.. i'm not sure.

Haruse open up his tablet and started to working on his test.

Well this all looks very easy, i learned it when i was in 6th grade. Like sin, cos, tan, cosec, sec, and cotan. And then there is absolute value and system of equation. It's very easy, and it's only 10 question. I can finish it in 5 minutes i think, well then let's do this.

The school bell rings.

"Okay everyone thanks for your cooperation, and now you all free to go. The first day is over now. I will announce the test score now. The top 5 is, number 5 is Aya Wirahman with 90 point, number 4 is Jino Rahmad with 91 point, number 3 is Rio Asadi with 95 point-"

"WHAT??" Rio stood up and was surprised. I lose? He thought. No, no, his name is still not mentioned yet, maybe he lost?

"number 2 is Risa Budiman with 97 point, and number 1 with the perfect score Haruse Lee. That's all for today everyone, thanks for your attention."

"How? What do i miss?" Rio did not accept the results. "How do i lose?"

"Heh, stupid. I saw your hand movements while working on question number 10. It looks like you forgot to do something with the y."

"How did you know?"

Haruse smiled. "When you working on question number 3, i already finish it all. So i can see your hand movements. How did i know you working on question number 3? I've been watching you all the time."

"Hah?! You are a monster Haruse, a monster!" Rio immediately left the class without speaking anything.

"Just like that, problem solved. Ahhhh, it feels good." I've been doing this all the time, everyone challenged me and they can't accept their defeat.

But Haruse feels bad because everyone in the class looks at him like a monster. It happens every time an event like this finished.

"Huh, well then i'm going to library again."

Library is the best place for a loner like me.
