Another working day
Nathan walked into a convenience store and met his best friend sitting behind the counter, staring at the television screen.
Nathan
Looks like you haven't been getting any costumers man.
Anthony
You can say that again. I really thought you wasn't coming to work today man. Got held up?
Nathan
Yeah. My teacher decided to give me lessons because my grades are starting falling.
Anthony hearing this turned to Nathan and saw that he looks very, very sleepy.
Anthony
Hey, you look exhausted dude.
Anthony
Are you sure you don't want to go home and get some rest??
Nathan
And leave you here working by yourself, not happening...
After saying this Anthony made his way to the bathroom to get changed into his uniform, while Anthony waited outside.
Anthony turned back to the television, but heard the sound of the store doors opening. He bowed and greeted them.
They didn't answer him back, soo he decided to just keep his mouth shot.
Strange woman
The woman then made her way straight to the ramen section, where she picked up a couple packs of it, before making her way up to the counter to buy them.
When Nathan was finish changing, he dropped his bag in the staff room and made his way over to Anthony to switch.
Nathan
You can go ahead and take a break Anthony. I'll take it from here if you don't mind.
Anthony
Thanks bro, standing for three hours really made me hungry.
Anthony
I'm gonna buy grab a couple snack, you want anything???
Nathan
Not really, I ate something right before I get here bro.
That's when Anthony heard a strange noise coming from Nathan's stomach.
Anthony
Your belly doesn't seem to be happy with your decision. I'll get you some, and it's on me.
Nathan, embarrassed about what just happened, thanked Anthony and started scanning in the woman's ramen packs.
Nathan then put it all in a bag and said:

Nathan looked up and saw that the lady was running away, with the plastic bag.

Hey! Hey! You haven't paid for that yet! Darn it! Darn it!
Anthony
What the hell happened?!
Nathan
The woman ran away with- out paying! I am going after her. Stay here for me will yah.
Anthony nodded when he heard this and Nathan went running after the woman. At first, he was able to keep up with the lady-
Until she somehow managed to hop over a huge river and land on the other side.
Nathan looked around to see if there was bridge, but there wasn't any around. So he tried jumping over it, and he fell right in it.
He then tried to swim out, but the current was too strong. Pushing him down into the water. After a while he just stopped trying and accepted, that he would die.
His sight slowly started to get blurred and the last thing he saw was the same lady that stole the ramen, coming to help him.
