“For fuck’s sake it’s Christmas again” Taehyung sighed while the cold wind went pass him, Jimin sat beside him and patted his back “come on, we’ll only stay there for three days it’s not that hard” they went inside and started packing their things, Jimin had thought it would be easier if they could pack downstairs because it would be a struggle to carry it down.

“Thank god” the two of them were finally done, they went upstairs and greeted each other with goodnights. Taehyung went to his room and laid on his bed thinking about how it would be very exhausting to check-in in a hotel. He hated packing by the way. He loves to travel but the only flaw about it is that he doesn’t like it when he has to list all the things he should pack, furthermore, how to fit all of it in one bag.

he woke up the next morning by the sound of Jimin shouting his name and knocking loudly. He stood up, opened the door, and went straight to the bathroom to get ready. They were both ready to go and all that is left now is to put all the things in the car “can you be the one to do it? Please, I’ll be the one driving” Jimin asked him, he didn’t respond but he did what he was asked to do anyways. Taehyung was pretty buff so he was able to put all their things in the back of the car without sweat.

They were only fifteen minutes away from the hotel, “waahhh this will be a very fun Christmas” jimin said while driving at the same time glancing at Taehyung scrolling through his phone. “why would mom even want us to stay at a hotel FIFTEEN minutes away from OUR dorm” Taehyung murmured, Jimin was used to Taehyung being grumpy during rides because he knew how he hates the process of going somewhere with luggage so he would always let out a big laugh to brighten the atmosphere.

They arrived at the hotel, Taehyung was the one carrying the things while Jimin was leading the way. They found their room and went inside. As soon as they went inside Taehyung laid down on the bed and slept, “I’ll be going out okay?” Jimin said, the hotel they were staying at was only a walk to the mall.

It was already 6:00PM, Taehyung woke up by the sound of Jimin entering, he was carrying a lot of paper bags filled with clothes, and his eyes were filled with joy. “a fashion icon, huh?” Taehyung laughed at Jimin, he tried on all his clothes and let Taehyung judge him. They were both having fun and laughing.

“Jimin, hurry!” Taehyung called him once again; Jimin was still in the bathroom getting ready. They were headed out for dinner. “I’ll wait for you downstairs okay!” Taehyung said and went straight down.

He was standing outside the hotel while scrolling through his phone, after a few minutes he got bored of using it so he just looked at his surroundings. He glanced on the place at his left side; it was a Starbucks shop just a street away. He was eager to go there, he remembered he did not get to drink a coffee today since they were busy going here. As soon as he took a step going towards the shop Jimin tapped his shoulder and said “let’s go!!”

They ate somewhere in the mall. They had fun talking about the things they did when they were young, they also came to realize how old they were becoming. “Can we go to Starbucks later? I want to drink a coffee” Taehyung asked while shoving a huge meat in his mouth, they both agreed to go only after they shower and get dressed in their pajamas because they thought it would be very comfortable.

They arrived at their room; Taehyung was the first one to take a shower. Jimin had ready his clothes as soon as Taehyung finished. After a few minutes they were all dressed, Jimin was wearing cute yellow pajamas with dog patterns on it while Taehyung wore a pink one with red hearts.

They went down and walked slowly to the shop. Taehyung was the first to enter that place but was last to get in line. He looked at the menu, as he was thinking of what to buy he noticed that at the corner of his eye was a man. Sitting and talking to a friend, his eyes went round as a globe, it was the first time he felt this. It was love. Love at first sight. Upon realizing he was staring, he looked away as fast as he could. The only thing he really remembers was his face. Round brown eyes, puffy cheeks, cute nose, his smile was like a bunny’s, he thought. “sir, can I take your order?” the woman asks, he glanced at her and got embarrassed with the thought he was doing absolutely nothing the whole time. Jimin caught up with him and they both patiently waited for their order to come.

“Taehyung?” Jimin asks, Taehyung wasn’t responding, in fact, he wasn’t even listening. The man who he stared at earlier was right in front of them, ordering. He was carefully looking at the man so that he wouldn’t get caught, he remembered the man’s clothes as he knew it would be the last thing he would forget, “Taehyung!” shouted the barista, and Jimin came to get their orders while dragging taehyung.

They were headed out, Taehyung was sad that the only thing he could picture was the man’s silver cross earrings and his white t-shirt. Taehyung opened the door for Jimin since he was thanking him for getting the drinks. He was the last one to get out but as soon as he tried to take a step, “Taehyung?” he heard. He immediately turned his head and saw him. The man with the beautiful face. His heart beat so fast that he couldn’t even think of words from his own language.

“I heard your name from the barista hahaha..” The man scratched his head, he was holding tissues which taehyung realized that he forgot to take theirs. “I grabbed it for you, since uhh.. you forgot it.” the man said handing out the tissue. Before Taehyung had any reactions, the man bowed down and went straight to where his friend was.

They went back to the hotel; they drank their coffees and went straight to bed. Jimin fell asleep while the other couldn’t. He was imagining things that could have happened if he didn’t get so nervous about talking to him. He stood up and got the piece of tissue the man gave him. He was smiling about the thought, but he noticed something.

At the back of the tissue was the number and the man’s name. “Jeon Jungkook” he read, his face went red and was smiling with his eyes. He jumps on Jimin and he woke up with a loud scream “UGHH TAEHYUNG AHHH!” he said “The man I just met gave me his number!!” Jimin shrugged his shoulder and said “congrats I guess?” and proceeded to sleep. Taehyung was hugging him very tightly; he remembered Jungkook’s face so clearly. “Jungkook..” he said again and thought, it’s going to be a good Christmas.
