I walked into the school building, groaning with annoyance. There are so many people I didn't wanna see, nor be around. I walked to the office to get my schedule. First day of sophomore year, and I'm already drained.

My first class was honors English two. This is going to be fun. I walked into the classroom looking to see if any of my friends had this class as well. Nope, I forgot their dumb asf n can barely write an essay. I sat down in an empty seat in the back near a window, I was early to class, so I just scrolled on my phone watching TikTok and liking a few posts.

I was scrolling until I saw a girl tap on my desk. She was pretty, slim, and had curves and had long blonde hair that dropped just to her waist. I sighed and looked up at her face. She had a small blush appear on her . I guess I was staring at her for to long because she snapped her hands in front of my face, and I flinched.

lilas pov:

I walked into class with a cheerful attitude ready for class, I saw a girl with long black hair, a black long sleeve cropped top, and blue oversized jeans. She looked gorgeous, and I wanted to become friends with her!

That was my plan for today. I walked up to her, and I was about to say something as I opened my mouth, but I saw her staring at me. Not at specifically me, but my body and I started to blush a little. I was kinda getting inpatient, so I snapped my fingers in my face, and she flinched. I felt awful for doing that. I didn't mean to scare her :(

Hii I'm Lila I said in a cheerful voice. "Hii, I'm Amelia. Do you need anything", oh I was just wondering why are you sitting in the back of the class.? I said with frown, "oh I just don't have many friends, so I'm sitting back her, I also don't really like interacting with people that much, and I saw no one was in here, and it was an empty seattt, so I just Sat here" oh, I said in a giggle. Do you mind me sitting next to you, I asked, "nock your self off pretty girl"

I blushed at that comment. It made me feel something in my stomach, like happiness or butterflies. I felt flustered,so I tried to cover up my face with my hands.

Class started,and I was ready to start the new year off fresh and clear, and maybe a new friend as well. As class began I was doing an assignment. write a short essay all about you, it was really easy and I had a grin on my face, this was so fun! I looked at ameilia, and she had her head down, and I was worried about her so I tapped on her shoulder and she sat up with droopy eyes and looked at me.

ameilias pov

I felt a tap on my shoulder, and I looked up. It was lila. Lila looked really concerned about me, and I was super confused about what she was writing, I then forgot it's the first day of school, and it's probably class work. Hm I said. "Oh, your head was down, and the teacher gave us an assignment for the first day of school!, isn't that fun right?? but why is your head down. are you okay.?! Is something wrong.?!"

to many questions for so early in the morning, I said. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to. I'm just so worried about you sense your head is down." I'm fine, I sighed. What's that paper that you're doing I asked. "Oh, so just get a paper out, and I'll help you on it. It's due by the end of the class, and we only have about 15 minutes left,"

oh, okay, I said, "Oh, what's your next class I want to see if we have any classes with each other I said. "Hm, I have business applications next period", oh I have science I said. "Well, I could walk you to your class if you would like." " Yeah, that'd be great I said.

no one's pov:

Lila walked ameilia to her class, where they made small talk along the way, talking about books , what their interests were, etc. Lila actually had a lot in common with ameilia, so they were bound to become friends.

As classes went by, they had 4/7 together, they sat next to each other, and they helped each other out on questions that they didn't understand. ameilia really enjoyed her time with sweet innocent Lila. Lila was a sweet, smart, funny girl who would always make Amelia crack up into joy.

It's only been the first day of school, and they were already inseparable. Amelia did have other friends, though, just not as many as Lila. Lila was more of a popular girl, while Amelia was on the quieter and most well-preserved side.

Ameilas pov:

it was lunchtime, and I was ready to eat, I was starving. I guess you could say I'm not a breakfast person, so I usually don't eat in the mornings. I walked into the lunchroom w my book bag on my back. I sat at an empty table and pulled out my some goldfish and a sandwich. as I took a bite, I saw lila walk up to me with a grin on her face.

I swear she's up to something, "melii!, do you want to come sit with me and my friends.? I promise you they won't bite, their nice, I swear." uh sure, I said. She grabbed my hand and walked me over to them. When she touched me, I felt spark, but I js shook my head and ignored it and followed her.

"Guys, this is my friend ameilia she's super sweet, and we met in English. She's going to sit here today if that's fine." They all seemed really sweet, and I gave some of my golfish to Lila and fed her some, and all her friends laughed in a sweet way.

we had 20 more minutes left of lunch and Lila was getting tired "meli I'm a little tired can we go to the library" uh sure why I asked, "you'll see" Well it was nice meeting you guys, yall are very sweet. "Yep, let's go bye guys" I got up and threw my stuff in the trashcan, and Lila grabbed my hand again, dragging me into the library where I sat down on a couch looking thing.

Lila sat her head on my lap and closed her eyes. Is that why you wanted to leave your friends so bad, huh? I asked. "Yep, now let me sleep. Hmmm, wake me up when the bell rings, please!"as she snuggled more into my lap. I read a story on girl love, and it was so interesting, and I gave Lila head pats. before you knew it, the bell rang, and I was waking up a groggy, adorable lilas.

Lilas pov:

I woke up from a tap on me groggily sat up and then rubbed my eyes for a little. That was such a good nap! Oh, hi meli, I said, "we have class come on." Okay," I said. I got my book bag and drank some water out of my hydroflask and made meli put it back in the holder on my book bag. We walked to class, and I was super happy to talk to her more. Gosh, I was so giggling it was embarrassing.

We got to class about a minute early, and I sat in the back with her laying my head down on her lap, and she's so comfy,so I snuggled more into her forgetting about class sense it was last period. My teacher Ms Blair she was super nice, and we watched a movie on the first day of school! But then I fell asleep on meli again. meli smelt like roses, I loved her touch and just wanted to be around her more.

Meli pov:

Lila was sleeping on my lap again. Gosh, she was so cute, and I didn't want to wake her up, but school has ended, so we need to go. I have to tell my friends about her when I get home. I have to text them all the details, I guess. Talking to Lila is def making me softer, I mean she's so sweet and cute it feels rude to be bitchy and mean to her, she's also really innocent so I don't want to break her. Lila's class is over.

Wake up, I said, shaking her a bit. "whattt let me sleep," she said. Class is over now, get upp, I said "fine fine" she got off of me, and then we got our stuff and got out of class, gosh she's kinda cute when she wakes up from a nap wait what am I saying she's only my friend.. Unless I like her.. I shook my head, clearing those thoughts away. we started walking out the building until it started pouring raining. shit.. I mumbled "hm meli what's wronggg it's just rain. Hey, we could stay at my place, sense it's closer. " Mm, uh sure," I said nervously "okay come on, meli weli, before we end up soaking wet."

lilas pov:

I led meli the way home. It was only about a 5 minute walk. when we got to my doorstep, we were soaking wet. Okay, let me get my keys out of my bookbag! and oh sorry, i forgot to bring my umbrella, so now we're soaking wet :( I said, "It's okay, dw, I forgot mine to."

I unlocked the door, and gladly my mom and sister weren't here. They were at gymnastics. Okay, take your shoes off and put them on the rack, meli, please! "I know what to do cutie" did she really just call me cutie I thought, I flushed a blush on my face and lead her to the laundry room, meli let's take off all of our clothes so we can shower and ill wash it I said.

"Mm, can I get a towel so I can cover my body up with it?" Of course, meli, I don't want you to walk around the house *****, I said. we took off our clothes and put them in the washing machine, and I took her upstairs to my room, we sat ***** on the bed as awkwardness filled the silence.

"Lila, why are you being so quiet with me? Are you nervous because you have a ***** girl in your room?" i- I noo I studdered out anyways you can take a shower first ill just do something else while I wait."or we could shower together cutie, saving water to sense it's thundering, the power might go out to soo take one with me" i- I my face got redder then a tomato I could feel a tingly sensation from my body but I don't know where it was coming from.
