Blood. Everything around me is dyed deep black red. I stood defenseless, leaning on my sword upon the corpses of those so called 'Divine Being'.

    “Wasn't as strong as the prophecies the sage had mentioned. Very disappoin-”

A magic circle filled with enormous magic power appeared below me, i immediately recognised that it was a magic spell related to space and time.

  “We've caught you now, monster.”

A seemingly indestructible barrier erupted from the magic circle, making it impossible for me to escape. I looked at the source of the voice and found the sage of prophecies. I then asked him in a calm tone.

    “You betrayed me? Sage of Prophecies.”

    “Betrayed you? Hahah.. HAHAHAH! A monster like you already needs to be erased from the surface of this holy land that the Deity of Creation had bestowed us! It was fate, FATE!”

This guy wasn't like this when i first met him. What's gotten into him all of the sudden? My eyes glowed red as i stared at his eye. I then felt a sudden burst of divine energy from him. I then smirked.

    “I see.. no need to hide anymore, deity of control.”

The body of the sage suddenly started vibrating violently, as a surge of divine energy escape his body. This, was the deity of control, Anan.

    “As expected, there's no way someone as powerful as me could escape from your eyes that brings destruction to my fellow deities~.”

So he's finally initiating his plan? This fool. I then said with a smirk.

    “As If a mere barrier would block me. I thought you'd know more about me, Anan.”

   “Seems like you hadn't realize~”

The magic circle under me suddenly starts to become chaotic with rainbow lightning. This was a sign of initiation of a divine spell. I then said

    “Fine, I'll play along for a bit. Did you think a future traveling spell would affect me in any way?”

    “Hahaha, Of course! After you're teleported to the future, I'll just take over your land and turn it into a hardcore religious country~!”

    “Lets see if you'll be able to defeat my subordinates before doing so.”

Right after i said my last words, my body started distorting along with the space around me.. then..

SHUUU!!

    “HIHIHIHI.. HAHAHAHA! SEE YOU LATER, YOU ABOMINATION OF NATURE~!”

My body started moving throughout time as i stood there, unable to do anything at the moment. That fool.. he caught me off guard. I wouldn't be able to move as long as this spell is active. Suddenly however, space shifted, and i was suddenly in a dark empty space, a blue square Infront of me.

    “.. what's this?”

    [Please choose a timeline.]

Who was the one talking to me? It was a female judging by her voice.. well it shouldn't matter, i just need to choose a timeline. Infront of me were 3 options :

    {1 : 6699 Years from now on. Your country is now a religious country, led by an apostle sent by a higher order. Your loyal subordinates are all dead.}

    {2 : 2000 Years from now on. Your country is in great danger, the apostle that the higher order had sent down started wreaking havoc, and forces the countrymen to study 'the truth'. Your subordinates are fighting them off.}

    {3 : 500 Years from now on. Your subordinates are currently leading the country on your behalf. The higher order is sending down rains of natural disaster to weaken the countrymen's will.}

    Picking 500 years into the future would be the most logical choice. But I'd like to eliminate this so called apostle as soon as i can. And then the 'higher order' or divine beings, Deities. So I'll pick 2000 years in the future.

    “Send me 2000 years into the future.”

    [Very well, as a handicap, your magic power is reduced by 3/4. You will unlock a part every month that pasts, and will completely unlock it by 3 months. Are you satisfied with the handicap? The choice to change the option is still available.]

    So there's handicap? I'd like to know if the handicap gets worser for the other option or not. So i asked her

    “Tell me the handicap for the 1 and 3 option.”

    [Very well. For the first option, you're forbidden to use magic power for a whole month. And for the third option, you're forbidden from using any wind magic for the whole month.]

    Seems like it gets worser as the years decrease. 2000 years into the future is definitely the best choice. I then confirmed to her my decision.

    “I stand by my option earlier, please proceed with the process.”

    [.. Very well, i shall now send you 2000 years into the future with the earlier handicap. Good luck, Tyrant of Destruction, Shiin.]

    The space around me distorted again and it started stretching forward. I followed by the tide of time until i was suddenly stuck mid air at a specific coordinate. Upon being stuck, i saw a rip in space which was starting to close slowly.

     “This should be it..”

[End of Chapter 0 : Prologue]

My body reflexively moved on it's own and before i knew it, i was falling from the sky. I looked down to see the surface, only to find out that i was in the middle of the ocean. Why here of all places?

Putting magic into my feet, I started floating mid air just as i was about to hit the surface of the ocean.

    “Where the hell is this?”

Upon saying that, i created a mini raft, perfect for one person using a creation magic spell. I then landed on it.

    “I need to get back as soon as possible. But how? It seems like the mana is very thick around this area in the ocean, something powerful is lurking around.”

I stood up on the raft and look into the abyss of the ocean, but i couldn't sense what it was. Just as i was about to turn my eyes away, i felt a burse of mana coming up from the abyss.

    “What the..”

The water beneath me shook violently, and a giant sea dragon came out of it. This was no doubt, the queen of the sea dragons. I then said while smirking.

    “What a time to appear, Diana.”

The sea dragon paused for a moment, it's eyes look a bit confused or puzzled. It shook it's head again the next moment however and went straight ahead for me, full speed.

    “You've become pretty naughty these past years, don't even recognize your own friend?”

    The sea dragon ignored me completely and proceed with it's assaulted. I stretched my hand forward and used a spell.

    “.”

    The next moment, a swarm of glowing blue chains erupted from a magic circle that appeared around me, binding the sea dragon completely. The sea ahead of me then froze completely, allowing me to walk towards the now binded dragon.

    “You don't even recognize me? Diana?”

The sea dragon looked at me, puzzled. A second later however, it's pupil shrink, as tears came out of it's eyes. Acknowledging this a sign that it recognises me, i unbind the chain from her. Immediately after i did, it rubbed it's head on my hand.

    “Seems like you were just wary after all. It's nice to meet you again, old friend.”

Diana seemed to want to say something, but is unable to because she didn't have a vocal cord such as humans.

    “.”

Diana's body suddenly distorted and in the next moment, a beautiful woman with blue hair appeared before me, *****. This was Diana's human form. I was the only one capable of turning her into one, and it's been centuries since i last did it. She then uttered her first word in centuries.

    “Z-zankoku? I-is that you!?”

As expected, she's having some difficulty. She'll adapt soon enough so I wouldn't need to worry.

    “Yes. Im not sure if you're aware, but I've been sent into the future by the Deity of Control, Anan.”

    “I see.. i see.. that's why.. your scent.. very familiar.”

I didn't expect her to remember by scent so clearly. Well it's to be expected, we're pretty close.

    “My country is facing some difficulty right now. The deities are sending down apostles to wreck havoc, I need to get back fast.”

    “Is that so.. then, if you want, I'll let you ride me.”

    “It's fine, we can move at an equal speed. I don't want you to suddenly have to turn back. Adapt to this body again for a bit.”

She understood and sat down on the raft. I then used a spell to create clothes for her. The fastest way to get back right now is by teleportation spell, but this place is packed with magic power, so it's a bit difficult. I'll need to get out of here first. I went to the back edge of the raft and stretched my hand.

    “”

A bright light shone around for a second or two. After it dissapeared, a medium sized box appeared on the back edge of the boat. This is a creation called a 'motor'.

    “Let's go.”

The motor started operating at a fast speed and we started moving. We were moving at 100 miles per hour. I say down on the raft next to Diana.

    “Hey Diana, you're familiar with this area aren't you? Can you tell me the shortest route to place with normal mana density?”

    “Sure.. at the west.”

West? My country is at the east, it shouldn't be too far. I stood up and went to the edge of the raft. I then calmly touched the surface of the water and used a spell.

    “

A wave of energy moves everywhere around the area and a paper the size of a map appears in my hand. A couple minutes later, lines started to appear at the map, and eventually it came out to be a full fledged map. I then went over to Diana.

    “Can you hold on to this for me Diana?”

    “Sure.”

I sat beside her.

    “What have you been doing these past centuries, Diana?”

    “...The usual.”

    “Elaborate.”

    “Hunting trespassers.. hunting for food.. sleep.. lead..”

Seems like much hasn't changed.

BWU! BWU! BWU!

The ocean beneath us starts to shake violently as an outline of a giant sea monster appears below us. Diana looked at it with a fierce expression, as if annoyed.

    “What is he doing here..? I'll take care of him.”

I stopped her before she does so.

    “Don't, I'll take care of it.”

I stood up and stretch my hand towards it. Scarlet red black flame slowly emerge from my arm.

    “.”

The scarlet red flame shot at it at a terrifying speed, splitting the sea in the process. When it hit the sea monster, it screeched violently, as it's body erupted in flame.

    “Nice..!”

    “Thanks.”

Leaving it's carcass here wouldn't be so good. It'll attract more sea monsters. I focused my gaze towards the carcass and uses a spell.

     “.”

The next moment after i said that, the carcass dissapeared without a trace, not even blood nor smell.

    “Amazing..!”

I went and sat down beside Diana again. Diana's human body had changed over the years. When i first made it for her, she looked like a teenager. But now, she looks more like an early adult.

    “You've grown pretty old Diana.”

Diana looked at me, frowning.

    “Im.. not!”

    “Well, maybe according to your race.”

Diana pouts and rests her head on my shoulder. Her hair is soft. She smelled like.. well, a fish. Before i knew it, i had already slept with Diana leaning on me.

...

I open my eyes to drops of rain falling down my face. Diana had also unexpectedly woken up.

    “Rain?”

    “A thunderstorm is about to come judging by the state of the cloud. It'll probably be more dangerous than the usual one since magic is packed up here. We should find shelter.”

I look around for shelter but found none. I however, found a giant mountain that stretches onto the sky, it's shape is roughly similar to that of a pillar. This thing is everywhere.

    “Let's dig a shelter there.”

    “We probably shouldn't..”

Diana said that with a hint of concern. I decided to ask her to about it.

    “Why? Is there any rule regarding doing so?”

    “Well.. my father said that.. there are deities on top of these mountains.. and that we shouldn't do anything reckless to the pillar mountains.. as to not anger them.”

I smirked and answered.

    “That makes it better, Let's go.”

Diana was hesitant, but she sighed and gave in.

    “Why was i even hesitating..? It's you after all.”

    “Hahaha, you get it.”

I stood up from my position and sink my leg in the water to change the trajectory of the boat.

    “Alright... Perfect..!”

The boat successfully turns its trajectory. We were moving a bit slower than usual because of the high tides from the storm.

   ...

30 Minutes passed, and we finally arrived at the edge of the mountain. I parked our raft at the far edge of the beach to avoid stealing, we both then explored the place together.

    “Looks pretty normal overall.”

    “Mhm.”

Suddenly however, the ground beneath us shook lightly, the source coming from behind us. Looking back, we both saw a horde of boars running towards us. Diana immediately knew that they were running from something.

    “They're running from something.”

    “I figured.”

The ground beneath us rumbles as powerful footstep shook it. A harsh voice spoke.

    “Who dares invade my territory!? The territory of the the holy deity!?”

Seems like there's a guardian here, seems to be a giant. I looked at Diana, and she looked a bit unease.

    “We're here to seek shelter.”

    “As if I'd let some puny human seek shelter in this holy mountain!”

Before we could reply, he swinged his giant club, which he had in hand

WOOOSHH!

Coating my hand with mana, i blocked the swinging club effortlessly.

    “Wha-”

    “If we defeat you, will you let us seek shelter here”

He instead of replying, laughed at our question.

    “HAHAHAHA! As if I'd lose to some weak human!”

Along with his annoying laugh, he also started stomping the ground as it shook.

    “Haha.. HAHAHAH- OOOGHH!!”

Before he noticed, i had already stab his stomach with a mere stick. Deep dark blood splurt everywhere as the giant went on a rampage, destroying the trees around. The giant shouted in pain as he holds his stomach.

    “HUAAAAHH.. IT HURTS!! IT HURTS!!!”

    “You better shut up, or I'll put more holes on your body, Piece of shit.”

The giant fell on his back and started painting. Seems like he's about to die.

    “Weaker than i expected. I bet you could've taken him, Diana.”

    “Mhm.”

The giant looked at me as i walk past him, looking at me in desperation.

    “I was planning to have a friendly talk with you, but seems like killing you would be the best thing to do right now.”

Raising my foot onto the air, i used a spell which made it start burning with scarlet black flame.

    “”

I stomp my foot towards the part just below the neck of the giant, his bones crack as his flesh started burning, His eyes went wild as he dies slowly from the pain.

    “This is why I don't like giants, A bunch of meatheads.”
