" Hm...another boring day at school..." I sighed as I came down from the car.

Quick introduction...

My name is Lacy Roland, I am the only child of my parents Mr and Mrs Roland.My parents are always busy with work and gave me a nanny and a driver, we are pretty rich though. I'm 16 by the way.

I walked into my class, as my friends came to embrace me. I had three friends, Ella,belle and Tess.

"Hey what's up, you don't seem okay?" Tess asked.

"I'm fine just bored" I replied.

"so there's this new horror story trending online..." belle began.

"another boring story..." I said rolling my eyes.

" it's not boring, rumors has it that if you read the story and say the words "AM WAITING " a ghost will appear and torment you..." Tess said.

I laughed so hard

"really!!...a ghost, then I'll go and read it right away" I said still laughing.

" I know you love horror stories, but this story is kinda creepy, I don't think you should read it" Tess said .

"all stories are boring and besides there are no such things as ghost....so what's the name of the story?" I asked.

"CALLING" Ella said.

"I dare you to read it " she added.

"Challenge accepted " I said with a smile.

After school, I waited for my driver to come and pick me up. My friends kept on saying stuffs about the supposed scary story, trying to scare me I guess.

" I can't wait to see the ghost" I said and laughed.

Finally my driver was here, I was about entering the car when belle approached me.

"Hey...we are coming over for a sleepover today" she yelled.

"Okay no problem " I replied and she smiled.

I wasn't scared of anything so they won't try to scare me with a story.

" I can't wait to see the ghost" I said inside the car and laughed.

I tossed my phone on my bed. I just finished reading the story and it was so boring. I've said "AM WAITING" more than ten times and nothing happened not even a single ghost appeared.

I just got tired and went to the dinning for lunch 🥪, my nanny served me launched and went into her room.

Just then I heard a knock on the door.My friends came in and embraced me.

They asked me questions about the story and if any ghost appeared.

" Where's Ella?" I asked.

"She's not coming, she is really busy with work at home" Tess said.

"Okay then... let's get ready for the sleep over" I said as I hurried upstairs to my room.

We made tents, cooked and watched TV... everything was going well until it started raining heavily and there was a power outage.

"Damn...why now?" I asked in disappointment.

"let's just sleep then, today was fun though" belle said as we crawled under the tent and turned our touch light on.

just as were about to sleep, we heard a knock on the door downstairs.

"Who could that be" Tess said

"Maybe it's Ella, I'll go check" I said as I hurried downstairs.

"Be careful" belle said as I slammed the door.

I walked to the door and asked who was there, Ella answered and told me to open the door.

"Ella is that really you" I asked.

"Yes!! open the door it's dark out here am scared" she replied.

"scary cat" I giggled and opened the door.

In front of my door was a lady in black long gown with black long scattered hair and also black eyes and sharp long nails.

"I'M HERE NOW!!!" she said and a loud scream escaped from my mouth..😱😱😱

I felt water on my face as I jumped out of my bed in fear 😰. I looked around and it was morning, the weather was nice.... I saw my friends and my nanny staring at me 👀👀. My nanny was with a bowl of water.

"She's awake" Belle said, as she came closer and embraced me.

I was confused, was I dreaming???🤔

"What happened to me", I asked.

"we should be asking you" my nanny said. "you just started screaming in your sleep and we tried to wake you up but you just kept on screaming, so I had to get water and sprinkle it on your face 🤭, that's when you finally woke up" she said looking very worried.

"You got us all scared, did you have a nightmare???😰" Tess asked.

"I don't know...it looked so real" I said as beads of sweat were all over me and my heart pounding in my chest.

"Can you tell us about it " belle asked.

"Not now, I need to rest first" I said.

"Okay...we have to go now, see you later...bye" They said as I waved at them.

"I'll get you something to eat okay"... My nanny said.

"Thanks" I replied as I went to my bathroom to freshen up.

"Oh no!"

"Are you sure of what you're saying?"...Tess asked after I explained my dream to them.

"Yes...she sounded really creepy when she said "AN HERE NOW " and that's when I screamed and woke up" I said trying not to remember 😮‍💨.

"It's just a dream Lacy, after all ghost don't exist, you've always said that" Ella said.

"Maybe it's just an hallucination" I said trying not to get scared...

"So ... let's go out for shopping" belle said with a smile.

I agreed not because I wanted to go, just that I wanted to clear my head and forget about my dream more like a nightmare...

I called my driver and he took us to the mall, we bought lot's of stationary and chocolates as always...

After the shopping, my driver dropped my friends off and I sat alone with my driver. we drove back home and I stepped out of the car.

Just then something caught my eye, a lady with a black gown, the same lady I saw in my dream, standing at the corner of the house 😰😰.

I have never been so scared in my life, what I saw just now sent shivers down my spine. I watched as the lady went to the back of the 🏠 house. I followed her to know who she was but when I got there she was gone, there was no one behind the house ....my heart started pounding..

"Calm down Lacy it's just an illusion...I must be hallucinating, ghost do not exist", I said trying to encourage myself 🥺🥺.

"Lacy, what are you looking for, are you okay?". a familiar voice said. I turned around and saw my mom staring at me with a worried look.

"Moooom"...I yelled happily as I ran to embrace her..."when did you come back " I asked .

She just gave me a weird look🤨🤨

"You didn't see me standing in front of the house?" she asked.

I didn't even notice she was there, I just wanted to know who that lady in black was.

"I was waiting outside the whole time, the nanny told me you went out with your friends, so I stood here to surprise you when you came back,...but you acted really strange, you kept staring at the corner then you started walking to the backyard, you didn't even notice me...are you okay".

"I don't know mom, I don't know what's happening to me "...

"Maybe you're getting sick"

"Let's go inside "

Mom took me inside, but I kept on looking left and right the whole day. mom got me drugs and I felt a little bit better after taking them.

"Good night sweet heart" mom said as she turned off my room light.

"mom... please can you stay here with me?" I asked as the memories of that black lady kept flooding my head.

"Okay sweety..."she smiled and laid next to me .

I missed her so much, dad couldn't visit because he has lots of work to do...

I woke up, it was really dark and cold 🥶, I looked around and noticed the windows were opened. I turned to my side and saw mom sleeping peacefully.

I got up from the bed and went to shut the windows....

Coming back to the bed I saw a black figure on the bed.The horror on my bed sent chills down my spine. I tried not scream and I moved back....

"Who...are...y..you?! I asked😫😫.
