Plot: Marissa was the beloved princess of her country but someone was out to get her. Her father had hired a knight for her but something happened in which the country would never be the same again.
In the country of Ophelia, there lived a beautiful princess. Since her birth she was surrounded by love. However, there was someone who did not like this and wished to see her in pain.
The Princess, Marissa Snow, had a friend that she cared about deeply who did not feel the same for the princess. Kira Ryan had always held some sort of hatred for the Princess. She was simply jealous of her. Marissa had beauty, money, love and more while those were only things she could dream about.
Kira decided to make an attempt to harm the princess. She planned for an assassination during a ball in which the Princess would be formally introduced. In sorts, her coming of age ball. But who would have known that this would cause Marissa to have a magical experience.
She would get to experience the feeling of falling in love.
The Night After the Assassination Attempt:

Sweetie, you have to understand that I need to protect you. You will be running this country in the future and I need you to be safe until that day comes.

But Your Highness, I do not want any Knight. I do not like the idea of having anyone following me around.
