Introduction

I am Lilith keisuke and I'm 23 years old and I've been a supporting character all my life. About my love life...I don't have one. Yeah, that's right. I've never had a boyfriend till now. I don't believe in things like love and for real true love doesn't exist. It's only attraction. I'm up for a debate if you don't agree with my point. Anyways, let's leave that aside, for now. They say every girl needs a girl bestie. So luckily I have one too. Her name is Robin. Unlike me she's very outgoing and even has a boyfriend, Sam, who's head-over-heels for her and I'm very much happy for her. He is a detective. I'll save the story about how they met for next time. Otherwise, what's the fun? Nevertheless, he's damn rich. I guess I at least have luck in the friend department. I also have a male best friend. His name is Noah. He's more caring and supportive as anyone ever could be. Without them I couldn't have made it this far.

And yeah, I live in a one-bedroom apartment.

Robin, Sam and Aiden come over some time, otherwise I'm all alone. About my parents... I'd rather not talk about it.

Chapter 1

"Yo, Lilith, this is a party! Dude, you gotta enjoy it 'ather than just sitting 'round with that sad face of yours! Enjoy, girl!", said Robin, clearly drunk.

Sam is out on a business trip so I had to accompany her. I actually hate these type of parties and to be honest this is my first time attending one. Letting her go to parties alone means nothing but trouble. Sam knows that very well and requested (more like threatened) me, to go along with her. So, despite myself, I'm here.

"Yeah, whatever." Taking the glass of tequila from her hand, I said, "I think you've had enough of that for one night. I think it's time we leave here."

"No! I'm not leaving yet!", she said with her hands on a table, looking damn serious. This concerned me very much as I very much am aware of the fact that, 'when Robin's drunk only Sam can handle her.'

"Hey~ C'mon sweetheart, we've been waiting", a drunkard said, touching Robin inappropriately.

There comes a scumbag....I knew this was gonna happen. Well, **** it.

"Hey! Don't touch me!" Robin protested but he didn't stop. He was now reaching to touch her ***.

I've had enough of this. It's his funeral.

I pulled Robin behind me, "You might wanna keep your hands off her." I said, glaring at the jerk.

"Heh, or what? what'd you possibly do?", said the jerk. Now, we were the centre of attention all because of this jerk.

"You are cute one. You could join us and I'd leave her alone....what do you say?" He Directed those words to me and began closing the distance between us. I had already lost it when he targetted Robin and now I finally lost it in a million different ways. I kept the glass of tequila I was holding aside and threw a kick at you-know-where.

Yeah, take that! Fortunately, I wasn't wearing a dress or I wouldn't be able to kick that jerk as I did right now.

I then took the glass of tequila and splashed it all over his face.

"I'm capable of doing much more than that. If you know better, You'd apologize to my friend here.", I said sternly.

Mumbling a sorry he ran away like a coward he was.

"Wait, are you really Lilith? Or someone pretending to be her?" she said her brow furrowed.

"Tequila really got to your head, if not Lilith then who can I possibly be? That's why I say you shouldn't have tequila."

"I didn't know you could do that.", she said, acting childish.

"I don't blame you, you're drunk. Anyways, now we're heading back. No arguments, Rob.", I said not wanting to run into scumbags like him again.

"Yes, sir!", she replied.

I decided to drive her home, as if she drove we would have met the devil himself.

In the car

"If Sam had watched you do that, he would surely be amazed! He would have been like 'Is it really Lilith? or am I dreaming? The Lilith I know wouldn't dare hurt a fly' lol".

After putting up with her unstoppable bickering and possibilities of what would have happened if Sam had witnessed what I did back there, we finally reached her home. Her mom opened the door and wasn't surprised to find her in that shape.

"How much had she had?", she asked, giving me a warm smile.

"She almost drank half of what was there to serve", I said.

"Would to like to stay over, honey? I'm sure Robin would not mind it", she said.

"No, I'll just walk home", I replied.

"If not, then I'll give you a ride home?" (FYI: I'm very close with her family.)

"Oh, that's not necessary. I'll be fine. Besides, my house is just a few blocks away."

"Alright, Darling. Text me as soon as you get there?"

"I will, thanks for your concern, Misses Lawrence.

"Of course, sweetie"

By the time I reached home, I was very tired. It was 2 am and I wasn't even a bit sleepy as I have Insomnia. I sent a text to misses Lawrence that I had reached home safe and sound. I decided to complete the anime series I had started recently 'terror in resonance'. I completed watching the last 2eps which I had left and went to sleep around 4am.

Insomnia* : difficulty falling asleep.
