Lavander's POV.

OUR family is one one of the richest family in our country, we're rank 2 in the rankings and the number one is the Vazquez family.

The eldest son of the Vazquez family is going back at the country today that's why the Vazquez family is going to have a welcome event for the new elect CEO of their empire.

Our family is invited to the event, so me and my mom is going to the luxury mall to finding a formal dress to wear later.

I pick the off shoulder lavender dress, it has a lavander flowers and some sparkling stuff, it's a below the knee dress. I pick this because it's lavander and lavander is my favourite because it's my name.

After buying a formal dress to wear in the luxury mall, we already go home because our stylist is already in our house and it will take long to style and make up my mom.

The event will start at the 7 in the afternoon and it's 6:30 when we decided to go there already because it's disrespectful if we come at the event late, it's ok to be at the event early than be late.

It will take 20 minutes to arrive at the place where the event is.

When we arrived at the event many big shots in the industry is already there, only family friends, business partners, and some big shots is invited.

Our Family and the Vazquez is friends because my mom and the wife of the chairman of the Vazquez is childhood friends and business partners.

We already got in because the employees welcome us and lead us to our table. My dad talk to his friend and mom accompany him while me, i'm just sitting in our family seats, looking around and amaze by what i'm seeing, the theme of the event is a royal theme.

My Mom and Dad already got back at our table because the event is about to start.

“Good evening everyone, we are here to welcome the New CEO of Vazquez Empire, My eldest son, Sairich Zaviel Vazquez" after what the chairman of the Vazquez Empire say, every one at the event give their warm welcome to the new CEO of the Vazquez Empire.

A handsome man appeared in stage and give his speech straight forwardly with poker face, his face is not giving a hint of happiness after he gave his speech he got down from the stage and walk straight to their family table and sit.

I don't know but i feel like i don't want to take my eyes off him and my heart is beating fast like how it beats after i run.

“Honey, let's go to the Vazquez table to welcome their eldest son personally" my mom and dad said.

We stand up from our seat and walk to the table of the Vazquez family and Mom and Dad greet them.

Tita Xabiana introduce us to his eldest son who live his 20 years in abroad.

"Son, this is the Velazquez family, this is your tita Valerie, you know her she's my childhood friend and this is your tito Gabrielle, your tita Valerie husband." tita Xabiana introduce my Mom and Dad.

"Hello. Good evening, tita and tito" the eldest son said with his poker face.

"Good evening too, by the way this is my daughter, lavander" my mom introduce me to him..

"Hi I'm lavander" i greet him and offer him a shake Hands.

He look at me for a long time before saying his name and accept my hand to shake.

“Sai" he shorty said and we shake hands.

when he accept my hand, i feel something like electricity and i think he feel it too before we put our hands down.

His mom look Shock when he accept my hand.

My mother had notice it and ask “why do you look shock, Xab" tita Xabiana look at our hands before going to mom and whisper to my mom's ear.

I don't what they're talking about but i know it's about me and Sai.

Lavander's POV

AFTER introducing ourselves to their eldest son, they let us seat at the vacant seats at their table.

My mom is besides tita Xabiana and besides mom is dad and besides dad is me, dad is in the middle of me and mom.

They are talking about business and i have to listen because i'm the heiress of our family.

I'm the only child and i'm the only one who's gonna inherit the Velazquez Empire and Dad is going to pass the Velazquez Empire to me next year.

"oh, by the way Sairich is it okay to you if we hand lavander to you to learn everything about business"

"Me and your tita Valerie can't because we have a business to settle at abroad" my dad said.

"ofcourse, tito"

"if she is going to cooperate and promised to do everything I ask her to do well, I don't want to work with a stubborn." Sairich said.

"Mr.Sai, I'm not stubborn, I'm going to listen to you and I promise I will do everything well, I really want to learn everything business" I said with a genuine smile, staring at him while he's drinking wine.

"Alright."

"I'm not doubting you but you still need to prove it to me."

"When do you want to start?" he ask.

"if it's okay to you if i start tomorrow, i'm reall not doing anything lately and I'm bored." I answered.

THE event ends already and we are already at the car, we're going straight to home because we are tired from socialising with big shots and we want to rest already.

I also have a job already starting tomorrow morning and I need to wake up early because I don't want to disappoint him, I already promised him that I will do well and I need to prove it.

When we arrived at home.

"Grace, you're going to Start working for him tomorrow, please don't do anything that will disappoint him, remember what you promised him" my mom said while we are walking upstairs to go to our rooms.

"Yes, mom i also don't want to disappoint him." I respond.

"Good, Go and rest already you still have to wake up early tomorrow, Good night." my mom said.

"Good night mom and dad." I said before they entered their room.

I entered my room and I directly go to the bathroom to have a shower and do my night routine.

I set my alarm clock at 5 A.M for me to wake up early.

5:00 A.M

MY alarm clock rang, it means it's already 5 in the morning.

I walk through my closet to get ready some clothes to wear for work, I get a White fit dress and a Black coat and I put my thing in my Dior handbag that my mom's gift to me on my birthday.

After I ready my clothes, I walk to the bathroom to have a shower, do my morning routines, and have a light makeup.

After I prepare my self, I went down to eat my breakfast and enter the kitchen, and there I see my parents waiting for me so that we can start eating.

"Good bye, Mom and Dad" I said after we've done eating.

" Goobye. Take care" They said.

I entered the chauffeur and told him where to go.

I still need a driver because i'm still learning how to drive.

"At the Vazquez Empire" i excitedly said.

Lavander's POV.

THE car stop infront of the building of Vazquez Empire, I got out of the car and knock on the driver seat's window, he rolled down the window of the car, and I told my driver that I will just chat or call him when my work is finished for him to pick me up.

I entered the Vazquez Empire and walk to the reception area.

"Good morning, ma'am." the Receptionist greet me.

"Good morning. I'm Lavander Grace Velasquez and I'm here for the CEO, can i ask what floor is his office."

"I'll just ask the secretary of the CEO, can you wait a minute?"

"Yes"

she called the secretary of the CEO through telephone that is besides her.

"Secretary Chen, someone is looking for the CEO, she's asking what floor is the CEO's office."

"Her name is Lavander Velazquez, am i going to tell her where is the CEO's office?" the Receptionist ask the person she's talking to the phone.

When the person who's she's talking to the phone is done talking, she put down the telephone.

"Ms.Velazquez, the CEO's secretary ask me to assist you to go to the CEO's office."

"This way, Ms.Velazquez."

We entered the elevator and she pressed the last number floor, when we arrived at the last floor of the building I saw a man in mid 30's who is seating on his desk who is seriously doing something on the computer, I think he is the person who's the receptionist talking to the telephone, as far as I remember the receptionist call him Secretary Chen.

"Secretary Chen, Ms.Velazquez is already here."the receptionist.

"alright you can go back now." The man who's called as Secretary Chen.

"Ms.Velazquez, please follow me" Secretary Chen said.

He walk me into the Big Door and he knock on the door and then said.

"Mr.Vasquez, Ms.Velazquez is already here."

"Come In."

Secretary Chen opened the door and he let me in First before he closed the door and go back to his desk to continue his work

"Good Morning, Mr.Vasquez" i greet him good morning.

Just seeing his face in the morning i already have a good morning not only morning

"Good Morning, Ms.Vasquez. Good that you're early" he said.

"So, what am i going to do today?" i ask him

"Today, I'm going to walk you around the building for you to be familiar with the building and you're going to a meeting with me later at 3 p.m."

"Ms.Velazquez, You're going to be my secretary until you become a CEO."

"Be responsible, you are going to be the CEO of your family Empire in the future, I'm sure you don't want to be a failure." He said.

"Yes, Mr.Vasquez."

After talking, we got out of his office to go at every floors, every department that the building have, he introduced and explained to me all the department for me to understand and i take notes.

After walking me around the building, we decided to have a lunch together at the high end restaurant near the building of Vazquez Empire.

When we entered the restaurant someone greet us and immediately lead us to a VIP room then he gave us a menu of their food that they are serving.

Sairich ordered a steak and a wine for his self and i don't know what i should eat so i just got the same as his but my drink is Juice it's not that I'm not drinking wine, it's just I'm not in the mood to drink a wine or alcohol and my tolerance is low and i got ice cream for dessert and Sai don't got a dessert, he said he doesn't like sweets.

While I'm eating ice cream, i noticed that he is finished eating his food and just drinking his wine while looking at me, i offered him a scoop of ice cream and he just shook his head and said

"No." but i force him to eat it and he didn't have a choice but to eat it.

after we had a lunch, we go back to his office to do our own works and get ready for the meeting at 3 in the afternoon.
