Rain couldn't believe she was actually graduating from college. All those late nights studying and working part-time jobs finally paid off. Her heart was full of gratitude for the scholarships that gave her a chance to change her family's life. As she celebrated with her friends Nyx and Louis at a fancy club, she felt like she was on top of the world. The music was loud, the drinks were flowing, and everyone was dancing like there was no tomorrow.

She had never felt so alive, but as the night wore on, her exhaustion started to catch up to her. Her feet ached from dancing for hours, and she could barely keep her eyes open. She signaled to Nyx and Louis that she needed a break and headed to the bar to get a drink. As she leaned against the counter, she could feel the sweat on her back, and her hair was sticking to her face.

She couldn't help but notice a handsome guy in a sleek suit sitting a few chairs away from her. He looked like he had just stepped out of a fashion magazine. Rain found herself daydreaming about what it would be like to live a life of luxury with him by her side, while unknowingly staring at him.

Suddenly, she snapped back to reality when she heard the guy yelling into his phone. "Didn't I tell you not to call me today? I don't care if it's a 5 million or 100 million deal, do you understand?!"

Rain's jaw dropped in shock. Was this guy really talking about millions of dollars like it was nothing? She couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have that kind of money. It would solve all her problems.

A mischievous grin spread across Rain's face as she imagined the possibility of becoming his sugar baby. She knew it wasn't exactly her style, but she couldn't help but dream of a life free from financial stress. She took another sip of her drink and tried to play it cool, stealing glances at him occasionally. But as she watched him, she couldn't shake off the feeling that he was a real scary dude. Maybe pursuing him for his money wasn't such a good idea after all.

Rain decided to keep her distance and finish her drink. She had just finished her drink and was getting up when the handsome guy walked over to the bar, and their eyes met. Her heart skipped a beat. He said in an angry tone, "I see you've been looking at me. Any good reason?!"

Rain was startled and taken aback by his sudden hostility. She tried to reassure him, saying, "It's nothing like that," but he extended his hand and grabbed hers tightly, making her feel isolated and scared. "Are you trying to spy on me?" he accused.

Rain couldn't believe how unlucky she was. Now, he actually took her for someone else. She was scared and stuttered, "I don't know what you are talking about," but in her panic, her purse fell, and everything inside spilled out onto the floor.

Rain's tried to keep her cool as she watched the guy go through her bag. She felt violated and vulnerable. And when her precious bracelet, the one her sick mother had given her, broke, it was the final straw. She couldn't hold back her emotions any longer and yelled at him, demanding to know what gave him the right to go through her things.

As he realized his mistake, he tried to apologize and compensate her for her lost belongings. But Rain was too upset to listen, and she pushed him away and ran off, leaving the broken pieces of her bracelet behind. The guy looks at the broken bracelet in guilt.

She met up with her friends, they could see that something was wrong. They asked her what had happened, and Rain tried to downplay the incident, telling them that some drunk guy had caused a scene. Nyx was concerned and asked if the guy had touched her, but Rain assured her that she was fine.

Louis, ever the joker, tried to lighten the mood with some well-timed humor, but Rain couldn't shake off the feeling of violation and betrayal. It was supposed to be the best night of her life, but instead, it had turned into a nightmare.

Nyx and Rain had been friends since they were in school. Nyx was born into the wealthy Lee clan, who own several businesses, but technology was their specialty. Nyx is the only daughter of the Lee clan. Lee clan is one of the most popular, well respected in the country.

The night before, Nyx had dropped rain off at her dorm room after a night out. As they rode in Nyx's fancy car, Nyx asked Rain about her mom's condition. Nyx knew that rain was going through a stressful time in her life. Rain answered with a sad smile on her face, trying not to show the pain, saying that she hadn't been in contact with her dad because of the graduation, but she plans to call him soon to tell him the news. But even when she tries to call her dad, he doesn't pick up.

She is also looking for a job,

Nyx offered to help rain, even though she knew that rain was a proud person. Rain refused Nyx's help, saying that she would find a job soon, since she was done with college and had a degree. Nyx told Rain that she was always welcome to come work in her company, but Rain politely refused. She was grateful for the offer, but she didn't want to be accused of nepotism, since it isn't very well-liked. Nyx tried to convince Rain, but she knew that rain would do what was best for herself. Nyx told Rain that she was always around if she needed her, as rain's dorm room arrived.

As Rain got out of the car, she turned to Nyx and thanked her for the ride. Nyx smiled and told Rain to take care of herself. "You know I'm always here for you, right?" Nyx said before driving away.

Rain nodded and waved goodbye before heading up to her dorm room. She took a deep breath and tried to shake off the events of the before. She was relieved to be back in her safe space and went to sleep, tired, while thinking about the man she had met that day.

The next day, Rain woke up late at 10 in the morning. When she saw the time, she jumped up and hurried to get ready. She had to meet her college friend today to celebrate their graduation. As she arrived at the mall in a hurry, her eyes lit up as she saw her friend Jasmine. She ran to hug her, and Jasmine got jump scared, but when she saw her, she hugged her back.

They walked around, talked, and the topic of jobs came up. Jasmine said she had a job offer and had applied for it, but she wanted rain to apply too. What if one of them gets lucky? It was a job from the Wilson Group, the biggest company in the country, for the position of a personal assistant to the CEO. They both qualified for the job, but the Wilson Group was big, and it was rumored that the CEO was a person who is egoistic, arrogant and a selfish bastard, and it was easy to make him angry. However, they pay very well. Rain didn't think twice before applying, even though it could be a challenging job. It's said that CEO is a very handsome man but what am I going to do with that, Rain thought to herself that she would be able to have a good life with that money.

Rain went home happy and jolly after meeting Jasmine. As she lay on the bed, Nyx, Louis, and Rain chatted in their group chat, sending memes and making fun of Louis as he boasted about his new modeling contract. Rain told them that she applied for a job at the Wilson Group, and they wished her luck and hoped she will get a call back as soon as possible.
