On the rainy day, Aera was standing on the fence of her house locked herself and wondering what to do with her life. Regardless of her sadness, she tried to seek for happiness to escape her present state but still, she thought to throw herself on the ground while looking at rain. Her mind started to black out due to brain fog and her eyes were full of crystal water, her hands were cold like ice and she was trembling; As she put her leg on the border of the fence she heard a voice , “Someone is calling me!, who could it be?”, with surprise she thought. “Aera, please come outside “, “please don’t do any stupid thing, I am begging you” her grandmother yelled from outside. She tried to calm down and changed her mind because of her granny. Aera went outside of the room and said to her grandmother with smile, “Don’t worry, I was just changing my clothes” and went downstairs. However she was still in her school uniform. The very next day she went to school as usual like nothing happened and this continued for almost two week. With her unwilling life she had to live and work hard to smile. Whenever, she tried to help her mother in household chores, her mother refused and making distance with Aera. A little Aera knew the reason why she was abandoning by her family but she had trust on her family. Another day, her mother asked to her about some rumors that Aera’s mother already believed chaotically without her opinion and rebuked her for being her daughter. Aera was at disbelief that she thought to cut her wrist and did so. She searched a sharp thing from a craft table but surprisingly it was not that sharp that when she started to cut wrist, it was becoming hard to go in once. She became very furious but her thought changed in the middle and she decided to leave that scar on her left hand. So that she can look at that scar and think about how she doesn’t have anyone who has trust on her. Aera and her mother had fight everyday about Aera’s rumors, she even declined to her mother and asked her for trust but still she was left alone without anyone. Her father told Aera to move somewhere else from their house and just live her life without them. She begged them but eventually, no one believed her, and her sibling started to keep their distance with Aera. She began to wish for death. Every word she says to her mother started to relate to those rumors. She even ran to kill herself by drowning into water in front of her mother but no one ran after her to save and it was not astonishing to her as she already knew it from the beginning that she has become nothing for her parents. However that day, god was also not willing to let her kill herself. River was dried without water and she was frightened every time when she tried to kill herself as if she wants to live for someone else. She just wanted comfort that she couldn’t ask for. The rumors speeded to spread every day and her state of life started to shatter. The gap between relationships of family began to broaden with her. What were the rumors that can turn anyone’s life like this! People were claiming that Aera had relationship with a boy, while she didn’t even talk to that boy. The boy had proposed Aera multiple times but Aera turn down him as she never expected a man for her but it was parental love that she anticipated. Consequently, she went with flow after listening to many taunts and beaten, she decided to date that boy to turn it into truth without liking him. They dated for six months and didn’t even hold hands and boy also never asked for anything from her. While dating she started to like him after a period of time and thought,” I think he is may be my first love”, “I should try to do my best to be with him for our strong relationship” and tried to forget all her sorrow by looking at bright side. Her joyful day were about to start but then she thought to tell her mother about her dating and for that she described the whole situation to that boy and tried to convince him to meet her parents. At first, boy was ready and he gave a positive reply to Aera but eventually, he decided to break up. Aera was not ready for it because she couldn’t get the reason behind sudden break-up; however, she couldn’t even say, to him not to leave her. Again her life was being anguished day by day. The darkness started to chase her again and it turned into nightmares. Every day, she had nightmares that cause her heart rate spikes during sleep and the dreams got scarier day by day. On one day, she decides to tell her mother all the truth and thought, “if I tell my mom about the whole thing, she would believe me”, “and…I think this is the only way that I can think of to escape my nightmares”. While preparing dinner Aera went to her mother and said,” Mom, I have something to confess”, “all the rumours that you are listening from people are true. I was dating to him, all thing were true.” Even if they dated after spreading tittle-tattle, she decided to turn it in such a way that makes her mother think that she was right about her child and know her well and said,” we have been dating for almost a year but I broke up with him and I know I am not your good girl” while crying, “Please forgive me this once, I will never repeat this same mistake in the future. I will do everything as you say”
