They radio went as I cleared up Detective Jones table. I love this song Harry Styles watermelon sugar. Harry has a beautiful voice no one can resist no matter the time of the year. Mr Jones is very detailed when it comes to his table and as a intern I have to make sure his table is in top to shape.

"Christine what did I tell u about putting my paper weight near the laptop" a very familiar voice said behind me

"Sorry Dominic , I will move it right away sir"

Mr Dominic Jones the best detective in the firm now. He is 6.5ft tall he is thin with a nice abs dirty blonde hair combed all the way back and a well chiseled face if he wasn't a snub and an asshole I wouldn't actually say he is kind of hot

"Stop that calling me Dominic call me Detective Jones ok"

"ok Dominic ooh I mean Detective Jones " i said in a sacastic tone

Pardon my behaviour but I need this job more than you know from when i was five I had always wanted to be a detective and now I got and internship at one of the leading private detective agencies in country so what if I kiss up to some jerks as long he says I'm reliable and gives me a good word with the head I can probably be a lead detective on a major case who knows.

"Oh Christine, Chief is calling us" Dominic told me

"US?????"

"Me for probably a very important case, you for some shitty paper filing so lets go"

Then He just stormed out of the office

"Me for probably a very important case, you for some shitty paper filing so lets go" I said in a mimicking voice as I followed him to the Chief Detective office. I looked around as I walked into the Chiefs' office. No one was there at the moment. The office was clean and organised so I don't really think there was any reason for me to come her so what

"Good evening people " Chief Mr Robinson said behind us. We both turned simultaneously. " I have some important news for Mrs Christine" he said as he walked into his chair he sat down and he continued

" Yesterday, the wealthest family in our town had a breaking into there mansion, their family safe was ransacked and up to 12 million dollars were stolen. In the process, the heiress to the fortune died by being stabbed frequently on her chest so they requested a detective but half of the fortune is gone so they needed a cheap one so I decieded to employ you into the case"

I was stuck in my surprised position for a the whole talk. I have my first case and a few seconds ago I was the cleaning the sucker behind me table

"Chief this is a serious case you can't assign Christine the case she is an intern this case need years of experience and close attention to detail non of which Christine has please sir if u don't want to lose this case please don't give her the case" Dominic said in rage

I don't think its only me but Jones is jealous and this is not something you see everyday so let me enjoy it while it lasts

"Detective Jones you are right so that us why you will be assigned as her assistant in this case and if they aren't any questions pls may you take the folder on the table with the details about the murder and close the door when you leave have a good evening"

I just reached for the table and grabbed the file i turned to Jones and gave him a smirk then turned back to chief and smiled and said "Thank you"'

Immediately I left the room and I heard an intense argument between Jones and Chief

I just smiled and walked out singing happy by Pharrel William
