Dr. Asahi kousie from SIMS [Sumiya institute of medical sciences], who at a young age completed his residency in surgery and decided to do fellowship in neurosurgery. And at the age of 26, he was in the midst of completing his fellowship, to become one of the best doctors in the country.

But, before he could complete it, he met with an accident. And almost after two years he returned to SIMS. But, instead of being alloted back to neurosurgery, he was asked to work in differnt department. And thus, because of various circumstances, he became an assistant professor in Anatomy at SMC (Sumiya Medical College).

Before moving on to the story, let's know a few things about medical students.

Anyways, after completing 12th, the students who want to become doctors in the future, have to write a medical entrance exam. Through this, they can select the college of their choice based on the score and ranks they got. The better the rank, the better will be the chance to select a good college with good clinical practices (good clinical practice refers to the patient load, means.. the exposure to different variety of cases)

A medical student after entering the medical college, doesn't select a particular field. All the students have to study particular subjects for a period of 4-5 years (UG-Under Graduation) like-

First year -Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry

Second year - Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic medicine

Third year - Ophthalmology, ENT, Community medicine

Fourth (final) year - General Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics.

And in addition to this, the fourth year consists of other minor subjects like Anesthesia, Radiology, Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Dermatology, Communicable diseases.

This subjects placement may differ according to various colleges of a place or states or countries.

And thus, after completing this, the students have to do a year of internship, which finishes their graduation. After which, they are officially called as doctors.

But, usually doing this doesn't have much value nowadays. So most of the students give another entrance test, in which they will get to choose the field in which they can join according to their ranks. Like if they want to be a surgeon or doctor or gynecologist or pediatric.

I won't go any deeper since it will be more annoying, so I will finish this boring intro in the next few sentences.

Thus, according to their ranks the students join different fields to do post graduation (PG) which differs according to the field. But its usually is of 3 years duration. After the completion of pg or residency, most of the doctors end their studies here by doing senior residency for a year and become an assistant professor at a particular college or hospital.

But those who want to further their studies try to specialize in a specific field. This is what is called fellowship.

The fellowship differs a lot according to a field. For example, General Medicine doctors (those who did MD) can specialize and become Cardiologist, neurologist, nephrologist or pulmonologist etc. and Surgery doctors (those who did MS) can specialize and become Cardiothorasicsurgeon, Neurosurgeon.

Anyway there's a lot of paths a medical student can take and become a doctor of their field of choice.

It was the start of new academic year for medical students. The students who gained good score in the entrance exam could afford to join the medical college of their choice. As such, many studious kids joined the SMC, Tokyo, which is popular for its quality of education even among the top medical schools in the country, as it is a part of SIMS.

SMC- SUMIYA MEDICAL COLLEGE

On the first day, the way leading to the college was filled with the laugher of new batch of students. They were all excited to join the college of their dreams. Many were in rejoice and were looking forward to the new classes and friends they are going to meet soon...

At this time, A Red car entered the campus premises and went near the car parking area...

after parking the car, two young handsome men in their late 20s came out of it.

Both of them then moved towards the college entrance…

"You remember what I told you right, Asahi-kun?" Sakuzo Kirishima asked Asahi Kousei.

"Yeah yeah I remember. Now, don't start your nagging again." Asahi replied.

(Dr. Asahi kousie and Dr. Sakuzo Kirishima, are best friends. Both of them have been working in SIMS Hospital since there graduation, in Surgery and medical departments respectively.)

"Okay that's it, the rest is up to you. Don't you dare to mess it up, okay?" Sakuzo was warning Asahi.

As Asahi was trying to reassure him, "Don't worry, I have practiced it over thousands of times, I will do my be-" as he was saying… Suddenly someone smacked his back hardly.

"Aaagghh" He screamed loudly.

Before he could turn... Asahi heard a girls voice.

"Hey, long time no see, Arima Kousei-kun" 😆

As soon as he heard that name, Asahi's face turned pale for a second, but he regained his composure and turned back slowly, to see a pretty girl in her teens, a little shorter than Asahi.

The girl seemed to smile even more as she saw Asahi.

Sakuzo seeing this, "do you know her, Asahi-kun?" whispered to Asahi.

"No, I have never met her. It's my first time seeing her" Asahi replied.

"Okay. But why did she just smack you? and mentioned Arima-kun's name?" Sakuzo asked.

"I guess, she maybe my brother's friend"😅 Asahi replied.

"I see. It seems she mistook you with your brother because of your similar face" as Sakuzo was telling him.

"What are you guys whispering for a while now?😒" the girl who smacked Asahi interfered.

She was Koari Miyazono. A first year medical student.

"Huh?" Sakuzo stared the girl a bit furiously.

"Do you know who we are?" Sakuzo asked Kaori.

"I don't know about you, but this guy must be Arima.." As she was replying him back... Another girl came from behind Kaori and stopped her from saying.

It was Ayumi Yumi. Best friend of Kaori.

In muffled voice "What are you doing Ayumi-chan" Koari asked Ayumi.

"You better shut up now, before you create trouble on the very first day" Ayumi whispered to Kaori.

"Why?" Kaori muffled. "What's wrong with me talking to our old friend Arima?"

"Huh? Arima-kun?" Ayumi exclaimed.

"Yes. See by yourself." Koari replied.

Hearing her, Ayumi slowly saw those two men.

After seeing the faces of those two young handsome men, Ayumi shouted "You dumb girl!!!"

"What?!! What happened?!" Kaori asked.

"Don't you see the ID cards they are wearing. They are our professors!!!"

"Huhhhh???" Kaori's became pale. "For real???"
