NOW I'M A DEMON

Where am I?

A man opened his eyes and found himself lying in a dark forest.

He exclaimed, "What! Why am I here? How did I get here? And what is this place? Such tall trees, I have never seen before. And ah! My head hurts so much."

He touched his head and felt two tough and pointy things. "What are these? Are they horns? And what is this? Nooo!! Is this a tail! What...! What the f**k happened to me!! Why am I like this?"

The man ran frantically in search of a lake. Finally, he stumbled upon a big lake with water that was different from any water he had seen before - it was red, albeit light red.

Curious, he peered into the water, hoping to catch a glimpse of his reflection. What he saw left him stunned. The body that stared back at him was not his own. He was now a demon, with a big body, long horns, tail, and sharp teeth. He couldn't believe what he was seeing - it was like looking at a completely different person.

He thought to himself, "Is it true? Have I really become a demon? But how can this be?"

The man is totally devastated. He has so many questions, but he don’t know where to start finding answers.

This totally devastated man is Robin, who was once a normal human with a normal job and a normal life. He died suddenly when a truck crashed into his house while he was sleeping. He couldn't remember how he died and didn't realize that he had been reincarnated into another world.

After a few hours, he managed to calm himself down. He began to consider the possibility that he might have been reincarnated into another world, just like the characters in the novels and comics he used to read. He remembered that in these stories, the main character would often receive a special window that no one else could see, which displayed their level and provided them with tasks to help them become stronger.

The thought of becoming the strongest in this new world made him ecstatic, and he began to shout, "Status window! Magic window! Demon window! Any kind of window!" But nothing appeared before him, and his hope began to fade.

"Why isn't a window appearing in front of me like in those novels? Does this mean that I am just a useless demon and not the main character? I had hoped to be amazing in this fantasy world, but it seems that I am just an average guy, whether in my previous life or in this one."

As the sun began to set, Robin's spirits sank even further. He was overwhelmed by the strange and unfamiliar world around him, and the realization that he was not the main character, but just an average demon.

Despite his sadness and hopelessness, hunger pangs soon reminded him of his immediate needs. He knew that he needed to find food and shelter, and quickly, if he was to survive in this world.

"Even though I may not be the hero of this world, I still need to do whatever it takes to survive," he thought to himself. "I must find some food and a safe place to sleep for the night. I have no idea what dangers lurk in this forest, and I cannot let my guard down.

Wolf like beasts

Then he searched within the area and found a cave in a mountain. He spent the night there.

Robin woke up early the next morning and set out in search of food. As he walked, he kept an eye out for any edible plants or fruits that he could find. He came across several bushes and trees, but the fruits looked different from any he had seen before. They were either too small or too sour to be of any use.

Just as he was about to give up hope, he spotted a tree with large, yellow fruits hanging from its branches. However, they were too high for him to reach, even if he jumped. Robin felt a sense of frustration wash over him as he realized that he wouldn't be able to eat the fruit.

He sat down on the ground and tried to calm his mind. That was when he noticed something strange - his body felt light, as if he weighed almost nothing. In a moment of realization, he jumped up and flapped his arms, and to his surprise, he began to rise into the air.

"I can fly? I can fly!" Robin exclaimed, his excitement barely contained.

Feeling jubilant, he soared up towards the tree and plucked a few of the fruits. He was happy to find that they were much tastier than the ones he had tasted before. He sat down on a nearby rock and ate the fruit, savoring its sweetness.

As he ate, he noticed a group of wolf-like creatures emerging from the bushes, slowly advancing towards him. They had razor-sharp teeth and their eyes glinted in the sunlight. Robin realized that he had to defend himself against these beasts.

He tried to run, but the creatures were too fast and caught up with him quickly. Robin could feel their hot breath on his neck, and he knew that he had to act fast.

Without thinking, he turned around and punched the first beast in the face. The creature howled in pain, but the others were not deterred. They lunged at him, but Robin was quick to react, dodging their attacks and striking back with his own fists and feet.

To his surprise, Robin found that he was much stronger than he had been before. His punches were much more powerful, and he could jump higher and run faster than ever before. He felt a new sense of confidence and power coursing through his veins.

As he fought, the creatures slowly began to retreat, sensing that their prey was too strong for them to handle. Robin stood his ground, breathing heavily, and watched as they disappeared into the bushes.

"I did it! I beat them!" he exclaimed, a sense of triumph filling his heart. "I'm stronger than I thought!"

He looked down at his hands, still trembling with adrenaline. He couldn't believe that he had been able to defeat the beasts, even though he had only just arrived in this world.
