It was night...

Iris had just moved to the capital city yesterday, she was worried about how to interact with others

"damn I'm so bored " said Iris

Iris was feeling bored, so she picked up her phone which was charging

then she was confused about what to do. So she searched 'how can i sleep when I'm not able to?' in google.

Iris's room was already dark, her bed was also comfortable, she had waited for more than an hour, she switched up her sleeping position, she did calming yoga, she did everything required above, but still didn't work. She then closed her eyes and started thinking about her mom

she missed her mom so much.

Finally she fell asleep **** Zzzzzz****

Morning at 6am while Iris was still sleeping

*KNOCK KNOCK*

Iris woke up

Iris : "come in, who are you?"

someone: "your nanny"

Iris: "where did my father go?"

Nanny: "your father went on a business trip so he hired me to take care of you"

Iris: "thank you but I can take care of myself "

Nanny: "don't say like that"

Iris: "sorry, I'm an idiot haaa!"

Nanny: "no you're not, you are a smart girl"

Iris: "hha wish I was"

Nanny: "you are, but you just don't see it"

Iris: "I see it that I am not!!"

Nanny: "just trust me, you are smart and you will make your father proud"

Iris: "how can I trust someone who I just met, you should know that I have trust issues, didn't my dad tell you about that?"

Nanny: "nope he didn't but don't worry I know what you've been through "

Iris: "like?"

Nanny: "my mom and dad had got divorced when I was 5, my dad poured himself with works to get rid of the sad memories, he gave me everything but all I wanted was his attention"

Iris: "ohhhh..."

Nanny: "hha anyways get up, do all necessary stuffs and be at the dining table at 7:20am, for your , breakfast"

Iris: "okay"

Iris did as the nanny said, she reached the dining table at 7am because she was quite hungry.

At the dining table

Nanny: "hungry?"

Iris: "yeah, quite"

Nanny: "here you go"

Iris took a spoon in her mouth and she was thrilled at how tasty it was, Nanny was happy looking at her expression

Nanny: " is it good?"

Iris nodded

Iris: "by the, may I know you your name"

Nanny: "my name is Zoe"

Iris: "aww, so miss Zoe I like your name, it's suits you"

Miss Zoe: "aww, thank you"

It was now 7:40, Iris had to go to school since it was monday. It would be her first time in highschool

Miss Zoe dropped Iris to her new school,

"your class is at 9F" said miss Zoe.

Iris wasn't happy about her new school but she thought to herself

"I am a new student, there is nothing wrong with that right? hope I don't get picked by others on the first day only or get messed up"

Iris bid bye to miss Zoe, and she entered the gate

"so this is how high school feels like"

She entered the block of nines, she was searching for 9F, she suddenly bumped into a boy who was running

Boy, "sorry was in hurry"

Iris, "no problem"

Boy, "are you new around here, cause I never seen a beautiful face like yours"

Iris, " yup m new and yeah stop being cheesy, lol we just met"

Boy, "ahaha sorry, I am always like this"

Iris, "it's okay, by the way could you mind showing me where 9F is?"

Boy, "ohh, so you're in 9F, you're just near my class 9E"

Iris, "ahh nice, then let's go together"

Boy, "sure, come follow me, so what's your name?"

Iris, "my name is Iris, how about yours?"

Boy, "nice, mine is Jett"

They reached to their classes,

Iris, "well it was nice meeting you Jett, hope we can get along sometimes"

Jett, "yeah, same here, well bye gotta get inside or else Mr.Finn will get pissed at me again and give me detention"

Iris, " haha.. then you better get inside"

Jett went inside his class, so did Iris...

Iris entered the classroom, all eyes were on her, there was a beautiful teacher, the teacher told her to get in and introduce herself

Iris, "thank you mam, so.. *nervous* my name is Iris Smith, you may call me Iris and hope we can get along"

Teacher, "well thank you, I am Miss Jean and you may go and seat near that boy in the corner"

The corner boy sleeping peacefully

Mrs.Jean, "Dean, wake up, it's not the time for sleeping"

Mrs.Jean, "all of you be a good friend and show Iris around the school during the breaks"

Class, "okay Miss Jean"

Iris, *relief*

Iris was a smart kid and used to top in exams but she didn't used to pay much attention in class *(in her pervious school)*

The 1st and 2nd period ended, it was recess, one of the girls approached her desk and asked her if she wanted her to show her around

Iris Happily said yes then, that girl introduced herself as Lvy, they two immediately became friends. Lvy introduced her friends to her. They all were very nice to Iris.

Lvy, "hey Iris, wanna join us, Isla is going to confess a boy"

Iris, "oh sure"

Lvy, "well then come"

Iris watched, she was surprised since she had never seen a girl confessing love to someone or maybe she just used to ignore the reality .

Isla came running happily,

Isla, "he agreed to go on a date with me on Saturday'

Lvy, "congrats girl"

Isla, "thank you" *happy*

The recess time ended and all of them went back to their class

everyone was staring at her as if she had done something...

3rd and 4th period also ended, it was time for lunch .

Students all gathered in the canteen and bought fastfood, since Iris hadn't brought money she was about to go and eat in the toilet but Lvy saw her

Lvy, "hey Iris, come since we all have brought our own lunch let's go find a suitable place to eat"

Isla, "wait, I have money I will go and buy some dumplings and french fries 🍟"

Katie, "Isla I also have money, let's combine yours and mine and buy something"

Lvy, "well Iris and I will go book a spot, okay iris?"

Iris, "ahh okay"

Isla and Katie went to buy fastfood from the canteen, while Iris and Lvy went to find a suitable spot to have their lunch

Iris bumped into Jett again

Jett, "hey what was your name ..? ugh yeah Iris, where are you heading?"

Iris, "just searching for a good spot to have lunch"

Jett, "alone?"

Iris, "nope, with Lvy"

Lvy, "hey 👋"

Jett, "hey 🙄, okay then bye see you later, I have to catch up with my friends, yeah by the way can I have your facebook Id"

Iris, "haha sure"

Jett, "here's a pen, umm since I don't have a paper with me just write it on my hand"

Iris writes her fb account down and Jett says bye and leaves

Lvy, " my god!! he totally ignored me"

Iris, "ohh sorry"

Lvy, "haha why are you apologizing?, he has some reasons for ignoring me"

Iris, "ohh do know the reasons?"

Lvy, "yup, wanna hear?"

Iris, "sure, why not"

Lvy, "we were once a........."
