I'm Memo. I came from country C. I have been living with a very comfortable life together with my parents and my younger sister Mimi.

They said I will be the heir of my dad's empire but I honestly don't want. My dad's life has always been in to limelight. He's cruel in business but a very loving husband and father to us.

I can't forget when I said to him that I'm going to T Country. I honestly want my independence.

"Are you sure son?" My dad asked because he knew mom was very worried. He was looking to my mom that was about to cry.

"Son, you can stay here in C country and there so many good universities here."

Here we go again. My mom is an over protective mother. I'm already 18 and but she's still treats me like a 10 years old. I want to be independent and try to live by my own without any connection.

"Please hear me out mom and dad. I really want to try living alone and not to use any connection from our family. I passed the entrance exam and get a full scholarship. I found a decent apartment near the school. I have saved enough money for my allowance until I get a part time job. Please mom have faith and trust in me. Dad."

"Okay. If that is what you want. We will support you. Please always carry your black card so that I will not be worried. Use it whenever you need it. That way I will not be worried." I understand my dad so I agree. "And if you feel tired, come back home."

" Son, let me help you shop your clothes please." How can I reject my mom if she has shown me her fluffy eyes. That was her killer move to my dad.

"Okay, I will tell to our shopping mall to close so that my son and his mom can shop freely."

And there you go. You see how my dad dotes my mom. What can I do?

Now here we are, my mom busy looking for my clothes. "Mom, please don't pick high end clothes. I just want to wear simple and normal male clothes."

My mom adores us and always buys us high brand clothes. My mom takes a deep breath, " Okay love. I resist my self to choose those kind of clothes" I smiled to my mom. I can't ask for mor more. My mother is really the kindest mom in the world.

My phone rang. It's my sister. "Bro, can you tell mom to buy me a dress for my friend party."

That is my sister. Yes, she is the mini me of my mom. That's why my mom really loves my sister.

"Mini said buy her clothes for her friends party."

My mom's eyes has sparkled. She loved it. And so after we shopped my clothes we went to see my sister's clothes.

That day was very tiring.

I woke up because my phone alarmed and I woke up in a different room. Then I remembered that it is my first day living in my apartment. Yes, yesterday I arrived in T country. I remembered my mom crying in the airport.

"Hon! Lets move to T country! I can't live without my son."

I just couldn't help but to hug my mom. "Mom, I promise, I'll video call you time to time. Please don't make it hard for me and dad."

Then my mom wipe her tears. "Call me time to time okay? And don't forget to update us."

I smiled at her and kisses her to her cheeks.

Now, here I am. I have to go to the supermarket and buy my supplies and groceries. I took a bath. I choose plain light blue t-shirt and pants. I wore my rubber shoes. I look myself in front of the mirror.

"Memo, you are now an independent man."

While I was on my way to grocery, I saw a coffee shop that was hiring employee. I went in and look for a manager.

"Hi! I'm Memo. I saw that your poster outside, I would like to know if I can apply."

The young girl looked at me as if she couldn't believe it. I felt conscious already.

"Hi!" I said again to the staff.

Then suddenly she touched my face. It's wierd. "Are you for real?"

"I guess I am."

"You are so ******* handsome. Your skin is so nice. You look like a celebrety."

I wanted to laugh. "I'm just a tranferee student here from country C. I wanted to look for a part time job to support my studies."

"Really?" She blink her eyes. "Okay, you are hired. I'm the owner of this coffee shop. My name is Lily and that barista is Cecee my younger sister. She is also a part timer here because she is still studying."

The girl wave at me. "Hi! Nice to meet you."

"I'm Rain." The man greets me. "I'm Lily's husband. She looks like a fetus but she's already 35 years old. " And Lily slapped her arms.

"What are you saying honey?! I'm just 25 and I don't look like fetus, duh." She rolled her eyeballs and Rain laughed. They are cute couple.

"Okay buddy, as my wife said you are hired. just sign the application letter and write your contact number. Have you known your schedule for school?"

" Not yet. Tomorrow will be my first day so today I will buy some groceries and try to look around the neighborhood. Luckily, I saw your poster outside. I'm so happy to get the job."

"For sure, our coffee shop will be famous to women now that you are here." I laugh.

"Please don't say that." I blushed.

"Oh, You are so cute." Lily said.

Rain pinched her cheeks and said, "Not in front of me." We laughed. I knew he was only joking.

"Honey, he is like my brother." Lily pouted her lips.

Cecee hand me a chocolate chip fruppoccino. "Welcome to our family." I smiled to her and thank her.

"I need to go now. Thanks for the this. I'll come here tomorrow after school."

"Yes. And if I'm here, I'll train you or Lily." Rain said.

"Thank you so much." Then I left.

I'm so happy that I got a new job and I'm lucky to have nice bosses.

ON my way to supermarket a bumped to a lady. She's like an IT girl. "Hey! Haven't you looked for where you are going?!" Oh this one is a ***** I could tell.

"Excuse me? You are the one that was not looking."

Then suddenly a handsome man came between us. He was wearing an engineering uniform from the school that I enrolled. I knew it because I saw it from the internet site.

" Hey, you should respect a lady." He said.

A lady my face. That lady is a *****.

" Babe, he was disrespectful."

I took a deep breath and said, " I wished you have seen what happened so you could have clean judgement. If you think I'm wrong so be it. I'm sorry and excuse me." With that I passed them and left them.

I hate people like them and from now on. I will do my best not to encounter them again. It's a good thing we're in different department.

I went to supermarket and bought the things I needed. By night, I came back home. I took a bath and cooked instant noodles. Yes! This was what I was craving for. My mom never allowed me to eat this food. I said when I live by my own I will try eating this. By nine I slept.
