You like a guy. You text him. He texts back.

You write blogs. He make videos.

Due to the high digital presence you get to know one another through each other's respective works.

He asks for your phone number. You give.

He sends you every picture of yours that you posted on your blog. He gave you a cute name. It makes you feel aww and special.

You kind of start flirting with one another. It seems like it is mutual from both the side but it's still getting to know each other stage.

He has exams. You wish him everyday.

You have presentations. He wishes you everyday.

Days pass. You talk. Feels like you found him. He is the one. The one you have been waiting for.

He proposes you.You marry him. Go to honeymoon. Have kids. Ofcourse in your imagination. In real, you are not a couple yet but you know somewhere something something is there.

Again days pass. You take it forward.

One day he doesn't text you for the whole day. You wait and wait. You finally text him at night.

It was last. You both never talked to one another after that.

You feel like it was your mistake. You want to unsend every text you sent him that night. You want to unread every message he sent you back. You just want to erase that part from your memory.

You turn sides on the bed. Your heart impounds in your chest. It keeps thudding. You want to sleep but your thoughts wander and doesn't let you close your eyes.

Maybe it was your mistake. Getting attached very easily to the people is one of your traits and you can't let people go easily. You don't beg. You just stay there floating because one day you know it won't hurt that much.

Few days later resuming the old patterns of life doesn't exhaust you anymore. It doesn't take enormous efforts to get out of your bed. To cook meals, to pray, to do chores. You do everything but you know that void still remains.

Then comes a day where you no longer bewail for your loss. Not relentlessly. You don't remember much of the texts you sent one another. You don't remember how he called you a cutie.

There comes a day when the details of his face starts to slip from your memory. Hearing his name don't make you smile that big anymore. You still smile though but it doesn't cut you adrift.

Your passion for him begins to cool down. It was gradual. Somehow he doesn't cross your mind that often. The fever was passing, slowly. It was not something, a kind of sickness. It was a real thing.

May be everyone passes through that crazy period. As long as it lasts you couldn't think straight.

The void in your heart is still there but it doesn't crave to be filled anymore.

Why do we fall out of love ?

Love is a very strong emotion.

Let alone love, if it was something genuine even a bit, let's just admit that it stays with you. It stays there, right in the soft corner of your heart.

You still have something. Maybe you don't but you still care. You smile when you see him happy. He crosses your mind everytime you raise your hands to pray. You feel good seeing him grow.

I guess you never fall out of love, you just learn to stay away from it. You just learn to care, without showing. You just learn to pray, without him knowing.

I don't know how it ends. But I have a feeling that some hearts are just meant to house voids.Not love.
