**THAT MORNING**

K: Oh boy I'm late for school again, Mrs Johanne is gonna kill me if she finds out I'm still at home, what am I gonna do? wait.... how about I try the back door? (Sees the dog) oh boy, moppy's gonna bark if I go through here and Mrs Johanne is at the front door, maybe I can sneak past her.

Mrs Johanne: (Fully aware of K's presence) I hope that boy K has gone to school already, it would be disastrous for us both if he hasn't😡😡😡.

K: (Trying fruitlessly to sneak past) Oh boy oh boy what do I do? Mrs Johanne mustn't see me😬😬😬

Mrs Johanne: K!!!!!!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡

K: (Freezes while crouching below the window frame) Y..y..yes Mrs j..j.. Johanne? what can I do for you?

Mrs Johanne: No!!! it's more about what I will no longer do for you, you ungrateful child, ever since your parents died I've taken you in and treated you like one of my very own children, I'm tired of you and your antics, you're never motivated to do anything, I'm sorry this is far as I can go, I'm leaving now and I don't want to see you on my return.

K: 😢😢😢B..b..but Mrs Johanne I have no one, I have nowhere to go to, please forgive me, I'm sorry I promise I'll change I swear!!!!

Mrs Johanne: It's too late K I'm done with you,like I said earlier I'm leaving and I don't want to meet you on my return, you total wreck of a child (Walks out)🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏼‍♀️

K:(Sobs uncontrollably) but I'm sorry, it won't happen again Mrs johnanne😭😭😭 I'm sooooooooorrry I'm veeeeery soooorrrryyyy, oh no!!! what do I do? where do I go? Damn it K you are such an idiot (Gets up to go into the room), oh well then (wipes his tears) time to start packing, I wouldn't want Mrs Johanne to meet me here now would I?

**TWO HOURS LATER

K**: well then guess this is goodbye ( walks out )

**LATER THAT AFTERNOON

Stacy Johanne**: Mooom!!!! I'm home.

Mrs Johanne: Baby, you're welcome how was school today.

Stacy Johanne: Stressful Mom, I was busy all through the day.

Mrs Johanne: Sorry darling, your food is on the table in the kitchen if you'd like something to eat.

Stacy Johanne: Alright mom thanks, I'll get right to it after I take a shower (runs upstairs)

Mrs Johanne: she's just like me, didn't even care about the food,went straight to the shower, such a darling.

Stacy Johanne: Moooooooom!!!!!

Mrs Johanne: (Startled) what is it dear?

Stacy Johanne: Keith isn't in his room, isn't he back yet???

Mrs Johanne:( I can't tell her I sent him out now, she loves him too much and would probably throw a fit) Oh no he hasn't come home yet, you know how he is.

Stacy Johanne: But he promised to take me out this evening ☹️☹️☹️

Mrs Johanne: And you really believed him? seriously?

Stacy Johanne: Mom he might be everything else but a liar isn't one of them

Mrs Johanne: weellll he might have an explanation when he arrives.

Stacy Johanne: He better.

**MEANWHILE..........

K**: (sitting on a rock beside the ocean) I've not had a thing to eat in hours, I'm so weak from having to carry all these things, oh man what am I gonna do.

(Thinks of Stacy) Oh man!!!!! Stacy, Good thing I left a letter under her pillow.
