Ava a 25 year old is excited to go to a party in she has been invited to go which was tommorow with her new boyfriend Ralph . The reason she is excited is because she has always liked Ralph and wanted to be his girlfriend ,and now that she is she one's to show off that Ralph is hers and hers only .

Ava shrugged her shoulders. " I am sorry babe ," she said softly, but I absolutely don't fell good enough to go the party . This headache I have is horrible ! "

Ralph sat on the edge of the bed ,an air of sadness in his sigh. " A great pity ," he moaned, " don't worry. " there will be more parties.

Ava slowly crossed the room and sat beside her boyfriend. " look babe," she said as she straightened his hair from behind his ear . " you were looking so forward to meet your old group. Why don't you go own your own ? I take a medicine and go to bed I'll be fine ."

Ralph lifted his gaze from the floor saying. " if you're sure," he said slowly. He glanced at his phone and said I could still make it on time ."

One hour later , Ava awoke from the sound of the rain hitting the roof . She realized her headache was gone .

Looking around her gaze fell on a box that contained her gown she intended to wear for the party . she sat still, thinking Ralph had no idea what dress was inside the box and thought what a good prank it is to play on him .

Fifteen minutes later the maid showed her through the room . The music was soft and dim lighting was put which made it hard to see. The party was well planned but she could not recognize anyone . She soon started to search for Ralph , she suddenly made out the figure of Ralph in his suit . He was dancing slowly with a young girl dressed in a tight fitting dress with black stocking. They were dancing closely . Too close Ava thought .

" this little cheater she thought . " I'll show you what flirting is ." She grabbed a glass of wine and started drinking it fast as tears started to fall of her eyes . All this year's of liking him and finally when he became mine this was to happen , I..I...ha..hate this.. what did I do where did I go wrong Ava thought . No I'll have my revenge .

She finished her drink and waited for the right moment for her to appear .As the music eventually died down Ava could feel her short temper rise very high as the couple kissed intensely . the young girl excused herself and went towards the bathroom .

As the next song was played Ava went towards Ralph quickly wearing a long fitted gown navy blue in colour .

She pushed herself close to him and soon she could feel his excitement, he began to put his had in her waist .

She suddenly thought ," he's trying to kiss me has he recognised me ."

Ava asked why did you dance with that young girl ? Ralph replied huh.. aren't you her ?

Ava realised he's drunk , and thought if I didn't come he would have slept with someone else and I may never know it . Let me sleep with him and see if he's truthful enough to tell me .

She then said ," it's noisy here why don't we go somewhere quiet ," she said softly to his ear careful enough to make sure Ralph does not recognize her .

Without he took her upstairs going to a different room and closing the door and her turned the key in the lock . 30 minutes later Ava quickly went downstairs , she pushed the same door she had entered and left with the same door towards her car.

Carefully she parked the car where it stayed all day, folded her gown placed it the way she found it and waited for Ralph to come the next day . She heard Ralph's car come and she started to think about yesterday and felt excited , nervous and curious .

" Sorry Aves ," Ralph said as he entered the room . Didn't mean to wake you this early , I just came to check if you feel well .

Ava pretending to wake up sleepily and asked ," how was the party ."

"A waste of time really , it was boring ."

Ava felt angry and asked trying to not sound angry " meet any interesting ? "

" No I didn't ," Ralph said .

It's Amazing how people change I could hardly recognize anyone he said .

" Then what did you do ?" Ava asked with less confidence .

I had a dance or two but it's no fun without you . Ron and I played cards the whole party .

Ava was filled with anger and was about to shout at him for being unfaithful when Ralph laughing out loud saying do you know Tim

" No ," Ava said roughly . But I heard he's a disgusting Playboy .

He still is met with a woman at the party Aves Ralph laughed I still can't believe he's my twin brother Aves He's so different from me right.

Aine five years old asked her Mom why do we girls have to look pretty to be liked ? Aine asked her mom .

Well... Because it makes us feel confidence in ourselves Aine . When we dress up nicely people will notice that we take care of ourselves probably , and this goes for boys too.

I'll never forget what you said to me mom , Aine said and soon drifted away to sleep. Aine's mom smiled at her and thought ," Mother you were right."

10 years later

Mom I am sorry I forgot what you said to me . But to be pretty we have to do lots of things why do girls have so much rules to follow ?

Aine said in a angry tone .

Aine why can't you be like the Neighbors daughter Dana? Dana always helps her mom by doing the housework and all . Even if you can't do those why can't you at least have better grades than her ?

But I'm not her!!!! Why do you always compare her with me ? Aine asked fustrated and ran towards her room and locked herself up .

She always does this ! does she not know her words are painful ? Aine cried .

Mom don't you know when I say I don't care how fat I am and say it doesn't bother me , deep inside I do care .I just don't want to be so depressed about them .

Mom I...I just can't be the daughter your asking for , don't you know it hurts when you compare me with other girls? It makes me think that you love them More than me .Aine saying this hurtfully cried herself to sleep .

I didn't Know you Thought this way but..but I just don't want to see you been outcasted by your friends , Aines Mom thought as she walked away from the door .

The next day Aine did not talk

to her mom and this went on for two days .

Aine's mother had enough of this silence and went up to Aine to talk to her .

Aine can we talk ? her mother enquired Knocking at her door .

Go away , Aine said but after some time she opened the door .

Aine Iam sorry if I hurt you but you need to Know the difference between insults and constructive criticism .

Mom Aine thought I know that but I feel like

I CANNOT live up to your expectations and that scares me , Aine said loudly .

Aine you have to be brave of . Your scared Without even trying .

Aine was caught off guard by her mother's comment . She didn't knew she had said what she thought out loud .

Aine let me tell you something if you feel sad or hurt just cry it out. tears are one of God's precious gift to women . Chrysostom says ,' the sweetest wine is that which comes out of the winepress of the eyes.' Martin Luther says it is a 'Rare herb' . St Bernard calls tears ' wine of Angels '.

Women and tears are good companions . When we cannot speak at all during sadness and joy our tears flow . Our eyes that held small tears soon turns to a secret fountain . our eyes is like a fountain , we try to stop them but they just fall.

Aine tears doesn't bother about anybody , tears most often flows when our hearts are filled with emotions we cannot explain properly .

If you say you never cry or if you are trying your best to tell others you never cry , how sad!

Most women and girls say boastfully with pride , I have never cried , ' only weak people cry etc their attitude may sound joyful but women cry . Maybe not often but in the most unexpected moment . Tears does not mean women are weak but it just shows their love and thoughtfulness . Aine no tears are the same, when I lost your grandma and grandpa each sadness and tears were different. We cry for different reasons Aine , but only when we cry do we feel healed .

Aine every one goes through something but we have to try .

Aine cried with her mother only then she felt the will to try to change herself to love herself .
